We came down for a weekend getaway and was the perfect condo for us. The unit is very clean and felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was stocked great and the beds very comfortable. We loved being on the 8th floor with the beautiful beach and sunset view. The complex itself is very well maintained with fabulous beach and pools. We also enjoyed not having to use our car as everything we needed was within walking distance and that was a huge blessing as we didn't have to sit in traffic to get to shopping and restaurants. Thanks for a great trip and we will definitely book this unit again.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

Good location, Clean room, Great view of the Gulf, Enjoyed the Beach, and would rent again . Just one problem and seems to be a problem in every room we have rented in Calypso in the past 3 year's.The bathroom sinks drain very slow and backup with bad smelling water on each other. This is not caused by a stopped up P-trap but is caused by mold build up in the lateral drain pipe behind the wall. I have had the same problem at my house and have proven it to be the problem with the use of an telescoping mirror. It is hard to get too and clean, but needs to be done by maintenance personal about every 3-4 months. You have to remove the P-trap and wall extension pipe from just one of the sinks and use a short 90 degree hooked spray tube and wash out the lateral drain pipe that is behind the wall, get as much as you can! due to little space and movement you won't be able to get it all, but enough to improve flow . The mold will grow back in about 4 months depending on the amount of use. Drain cleaning Chemical's won't work because they don't fill the drain pipe completely full, and won't set there long enough to kill all of mold. Chemicals work well in a P-trap clog but not in an open drain line .The mold build up is on the inside top of the drain pipe and grows over time and will fill the pipe completely full. This is were hair, dirt, and grime get blocked and causes even more growth and slow down. This could lead to health issues if not cleaned often. I hope you find this information helpful.

Owner's Response: Greg, THERE WAS SAND in the drain. Problem solved. A simple "hey, the drain is slow" would have been all we needed to fix the problem. You never contacted us once. No need to write a hysterical overreaction involving mold that doesn't exist.

Beautiful Condo

My family stayed for a long weekend in this condo and it was perfect! We had all of the amenities we needed, the decor was tasteful, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the 8th floor was outstanding. We also loved that Pier Park was within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Anniversary Getaway

My wife and I just returned from a Anniversary Getaway staying in this awesome unit. The unit was the perfect size for us with great amenities. We found the unit in great condition and clean. This condo is in the perfect location, walking distance to Pier Park and several restaurants (Shuckums and Hook'D our favorites). The management team was very easy to work with and attentive to our needs.
