We purchased this condominium to share with our children and extended family. Our kids play for hours on the beach and we never get tired of the beautiful sunsets, sugar white sand and emerald green waters found in Destin, Florida!

Everything was just as stated. Only problem we had was there was a lot of walking involved to get to the parking garage from our oceanfront room. It really gives you a workout. But everything else was great. Room was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Would recommend this place for anyone with kids. It has a lot of pools and the lazy river is awesome!
It is our second time staying in this condo. It was just as good the second time as the first. The views are unbeatable and everything was clean. We will stay again.

This was the perfect location for a beach vacation for our family of 6. The two boys took the bunk room while my 2 daughters had the spare bedroom. Plenty of room to hang out, which was great because the weather just did not cooperate with us! Rainy for most of our week but watching the storms over the ocean from the patio was quite amazing. We will definitely be back, just hopefully when it's better weather! It's too bad the lazy river isn't heated because it was way too cold to enjoy during our April visit. We spent lots of time in the hot tub though! We also took a few trips to the heated pool as well.
Great condo, poor management
First, I’d like to say the beaches were beautiful. We enjoyed the area very much. It was our first time at Fort Walton beach and the Destin area. We did notice a few issues upon our stay. One of them being the balcony door it’s extremely heavy and hard to open and lock. No big deal, I did not contact anybody about that. The place was not extremely welcoming, with signs everywhere do not do this, and do not do that. And we got a more condescending than welcoming vibe. There are o my 2 heated pools and hot tubs. The rest of the pools were FREEZING! Including the lazy river.
But the most annoying issue I found was, when we arrived home my husband realized he had left his gym shoes there. When asked if they were found we are asked to pay $25 fee to the cleaning lady, along with shipping. I don’t see how this is fair, and the cleaning ladies responsibility and not management?

I immediately replied that my cleaning lady did have the shoes and it would be a $25 service fee + shipping. You agreed to pay and have them shipped back. I personally think this is good management to respond, coordinate, and have the item shipped back to you in a timely manner.
We also clearly state in our informational check-in email: Items Left Behind: We are not responsible for items left behind. This, too, is good managment to clearly state our rules so that you are aware of our policies. I am sorry you missed that in the informational email.
Pertaining to your question about management vs. cleaning crew, I explained to you in the email that we are a team and are one in the same. My cleaning lady has to remove all items left in the condo to get ready for the next guests. She had the shoes in her possession, therefore, she mailed them back. I do not think it’s an issue who mails them back, just as long as you receive them.
-Concerning the temperature of the pools, you emailed me prior to your vacation asking which pools were heated. I immediately replied and communicated with you the pools that were heated and the pools that were not heated. I am sorry if you missed my reply, but again, I feel this is good management and communication to reply to you in a timely manner and with an honest respsonse so you weren’t surprised with the temperature.
-We did have our sliding door rollers replaced recently. I am sorry that was hard to open. That happens over time with the saltwater and humidity, but it’s sliding great now.
And lastly, I am very sorry you felt unwelcome by a few of our notes about the A.C. or washing machine, etc.… They are reminders to guests which simply help them to operate everything correctly. It is not my intent to make anyone feel badly, but only to help make the stay easy.
Again, we strive to take care of our guests as family as is reflected from years of 5-star reviews on our condo.
Great beach front unit with fantastic views.
401 was as nice or even better than expected. Morning work outs 3 floors straight down. Exercise room was clean, large, and had lots of equipment. Next to the beach where the beach setup guys took fantastic care of us. We cooked breakfast/brunch everyday. Kitchen well stocked but you will need to bring every spice that you need, even salt and pepper. Bathrooms spacious and payed out nicely. Every day watched the sunset from the very large balcony. Then walked to dinner down by the pier. Many places to eat and have beverages. All within 1/2 mile. During your stay you will be entertained by the air force. Not all day or too much by any means (can watch fighter jets, ospreys, transports, helicopters all day). Pools looked very nice although we did not get a chance to swim. Check in and out was simple. Not a long walk to garage. Elevator right next to room for fast beach access. Tv’s in every room. Full channel lineup with HBO. Very friendly people everywhere. Don’t forget to watch for dolphins. You will not be disappointed.

The condo was very nice. Two things that could use improvement is having no pantry in the kitchen and the TV in bunk bedroom is not tiltable and can't be seen from the bottom bunk bed.
Thanks you for the review. Yes, the condo kitchens do not have a pantry. There is, however, a 4 shelved cabinet to the left of the fridge and the lower cabinet which is mostly free of items so that you can store your food.
Thank you for letting me know about the non-tilt TV. I honestly did not know that (probably b/c I haven't slept in the bunk) but I appreciate you letting me know.
