The Da Vinci Code and Young Victoria's coronation sequences were filmed at the spectacular hilltop mediaeval church, which not only has stunning architecture but also served as the backdrop for both of those movies. Views of the city may be seen by climbing the tower and exploring the castle's walls. Enjoy the outdoor theatre, rock and pop concerts, and re-enactment weekends in the castle grounds during the summer. Lincoln's Magna Carta is also housed in the castle.
