This is a 30 night minimum rental. Private cottage on a gated property in the estate area of Pebble Beach. Enjoy the perfect Mediterranean retreat just three minutes up the forested drive from the Lodge at Pebble Beach, with its Spa, exclusive shops and four restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Downtown Carmel-by-the Sea is just seven minutes away and the renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium just fifteen minutes away.
The location affords quiet seclusion, but is accessible for grocery and restaurant deliveries. Whole Foods is only a ten minute drive to the Del Monte Shopping Center.
This one bedroom-two bath cottage features two stone gas fireplaces and a full kitchen with granite counters, Wolf stove and Bosch dishwasher. The living room/library has a 55" television with DirecTv and DVR. The bedroom has a 42" television. The cottage also has WiFi and a whole house speaker system. The granite workstation and bedroom feature built-in USB ports.
The lush surrounding gardens include two old world fountains and a brick patio with teak table, umbrella and chairs for a relaxing outdoor experience.

We loved our month-long stay at Thea and Stefano's. It is a unique property that is quiet, private, and well-kept. It is 15 minutes away from the centers of Carmel and Monterey with all of their shops and restaurants.They go out of their way to accommodate and cater to guests.One suggestion would be to free up space for the guests personal items in kitchen and bathroom cupboards/drawers.Also know that there is a small hill from the parking area to the house for anyone with mobility issues.Thanks for all you did for us. We won't hesitate to recommend your place to family and friends.

This is our second stay at the Retreat. We love our time here. The property is beautiful, and the Cottage is amazing. Also, the location is perfect for day trips around the area. Delightful Pebble Beach Cottage

This cottage is a gem. The surrounding gardens and statuaries are lovely and the interior of the cottage is beautifully decorated. The kitchen is well appointed and the wonderful hosts provide welcome drinks, basic supplies and a yummy cake! It’s an easy drive to Monterey activities and we will definitely return!

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. Unique homey cottage behind main house is private, eclectically decorated and with beautiful landscaping throughout property. Stefano and Thea are very thoughtful and gracious hosts who provide needed supplies for breakfast, drinks and dessert. We love the thoughtfully decorated home. The owners have a love of all things art and literature. The walking trails through the forest and into Carmel are heavenly. If you are looking for peacefulness, comfort and beautiful natural surroundings this is the place to stay!

Thea & Stef were wonderful hosts and we loved their home. It was very comfortable for my husband and I. The high ceilings made it feel larger. It was equipped with everything we needed. They were so sweet to have cereal, nespresso, bread, jam, chocolates and more for us. They really went over and beyond with fresh flowers, getting a special nespresso flavor for my husband and texting us events for Car Week. It was a quiet beautiful retreat with a nice private patio in the front. They were very nice to greet us and explain how to use certain things in their home to us. The 2 bathrooms were also convenient. It was a very clean home and we would definitely stay again if we’re in the area! Thank you Thea & Stef!

Charming Secret Garden Cottage

The host and hostess were so accommodating. They met us at the front gate in the exclusive area of 17 mile drive. The cottage is very private and decorated beautifully. Food and drinks were waiting for us. I’ve rented many homes in our travels. Inch for inch this home exceeds every other one. We will be back.

Hidden Oasis

The first thing that pops out at you when you drive up is the amount of plants and flowers lining the entry. It is just beautiful. All the tile work makes you feel like you are in Italy. Then we saw the rooms where we were going to spend the next couple of days. Just beautiful. Everything was thought of. Loved my Nespresso in the mornings too. Will absolutely stay here again.
