Pebble Beach Mediterranean Cottage Retreat

This was a quick weekend getaway for us....we were so lucky to find Stephan and Thea's guest house. The cottage with private patio, fountain, plants and sculptures create such a perfect relaxing environment to rest and recover. The cottage is more spacious and elegant than the pictures show (2 fireplaces and great speaker system!). The location is fantastic, close to 17 mile drive. We rented E-bikes in Pacific Grove and rode to the Pebble Beach Lodge and back and just stayed in the area for 2 days. Fantastic! Stephan & Thea were also the perfect hosts, taking lots of time to introduce us to the Cottage and the area, and truly made us feel at home. Thanks for a great weekend!

The owners of this magnificent property could have not been more welcoming , gracious

and generous. The frig was loaded with a wide assortment of plain and flavored waters; there was a beautiful cake personalized with my wife and my name ; a Nespresso machine with a great variety of coffee capsules 'ditto with tea variety and so many thoughtful munchies to mention. The unit itself was tastefully designed with high quality leather furniture, two fireplaces, two nice bathrooms, high quality TV's and entertainment system. The finishes, appliances , hardware and lighting were of high quality. It all reflected great care and attention to details

. The patio was generous in size, totally private and beautifully landscaped . The grounds that this lovely guest cottage sat on reflected loving attention, ,, an incredible variety of both landscaping and hardscape. and a wonderful expression of whimsy tastefully executed. No more Pebble Beach Resort stays for us . Thank you Thea and Steffano for a delightful experience.

The cottage is totally charming. The hosts, Stef and Thea met us when we arrived and helped us settle in, Everything is top of the line, from the sheets and towels to all of the appliances. They stocked the refrigerator with our wish list. The cottage is also immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. The private garden is landscaped with fragrant plants, king palms, and trees. There is also a deck with a gas grill. I had a smile on my face throughout our stay. We celebrated our 48th wedding anniversary here and will definitely return. I definitely recommend this unique property!!!

Cannot say enough good things about this place and our hosts! Chose this place because of location and the beauty shown in the photos. Looked like "my kinda place." Exceeded my expectations, and they were pretty high! The guest cottage is on a property in the forest community above the famous Pebble Beach Golf Course, Lodge and Club. It's very private, yet close enough to hosts that they're readily available--and they're responsive to any need or question you might have. When we arrived on the property, we felt like we were in Italy--beautiful plantings, stonework, fountains. mosaic elements--everywhere testify to the decades of planning & building that the owners have put into the property--an obvious labor of love that's evolved organically and continues to manifest. This perfect little piece of paradise is Stephano's canvas, and he's a master creator. He and his wife, Thea, warmly greeted us upon arrival and took us to our guest cottage. The cottage was bigger than I'd imagined from the web pics--spacious and elegant with very upscale amenities--high-end appliances (including my personal favorite--a nespresso!), lovely artwork, a fine and interesting library, DISH TV and a great sound system. Really good internet and plenty of USB ports available to charge devices. They had even provided special treats (I'm GF)! I'm running out of available characters, so I'll finish up w/saying that I was ready to move in & didn't want to leave. Best rental ever; wonderful hosts, beautiful place. We'll be back whenever possible.
