Mesa Beach Bungalow ~ Walk to Hendry's Beach!

This great Mesa Beach Bungalow is a new listing for us but we're 9 year SuperHosts with other properties and have happily hosted guests hundreds of times! Our home is walking less than 5 minutes walk to Santa Barbara's best family beach, Hendry's Beach. Play in the waves, explore tide pools then chill in the hot tub when you come home. We're centrally located and minutes to downtown Santa Barbara, the Funk Zone, Harbor and UCSB.
The space
~~ Again, while this is a new listing for us and it doesn't have many reviews, we're long term SuperHosts and have over 100+ 5 Star reviews for the homes we have rented previously. We love to exceed our guests expectations and we're always looking for ways to go above and beyond! We live in this home with our family of four half the year so we've put extra effort into making it comfortable and livable. Walk to the beach, enjoy bottle of local wine and soak in this incredible american riviera location.~~



LIVING AREAS

The space is 1,385 square feet with lots of light, airflow and a great beachy feel. The open floorplan, convenient rooms and direct flow to the backyard makes it great is great for families. Cozy outdoor seating, a plush sofa and a toasty gas fireplace are perfect warm days or cool evenings on the California coast.

60" flatscreen TV's (including one in the "kids" bunk room!) are fully connected for you to log in and stream through any of the popular services. The living room is Alexa/Sonos enabled so you'll have great control over music and the feel.


KITCHEN & DINING ROOM

We love cooking and entertaining, so the open chef's kitchen and island is furnished with everything you could want to make a meal. Kitchenaid appliances, high-end pots and pans, proper knives (if you know you know), ample cutting boards and all the other little things. Whether you're cooking a full roast turkey dinner or throwing together an easy pasta meal, you can do it here. Stainless gas range offers great control and ease of use. We keep the pantry well stocked with all the the essentials as well as common spices and items. There is a small Alexa hub for quick measuring conversions or just a little cooking music while you chef it up.

The dining room has comfortable seating for 6. We have little guys ourselves so we make a high chair available (along with all other imaginable kid stuff). Storage buffet to the side houses place-mats, serving plates and platters. This space is all about relaxed evenings with friends and family.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

Our ranch style home sleeps up to 7 guests between the three bedrooms. We also offer a fold-up mattress pad that can serve for putting another couple kids on the floor in any bedroom or for an additional guest in a pinch.

The primary bedroom futures a brand new king mattress (medium plush), an en-suite bathroom with a roomy stand alone shower and vanity.

The great bunk bedroom has a new queen mattress down low and a twin XL on top. LCD with all the apps, floor space and a little privacy is great for kids and adults.

Right across the hall is another cute bedroom with a queen bed and a full bathroom with a tub.

A Pack and Play is available on request.


PATIO & OUTDOOR AREAS

This home features a great back yard with outdoor sofas, gas fire pit, gas grill, cafe lights, rope swing, tree frogs, citrus trees, great views...all the things. With 30 jets, seating for 6 and weekly maintenance, the hot tub will be the ideal place to relax and hang out with the family after a day exploring Santa Barbara.


MORE DETAILS & THE LITTLE EXTRA THINGS

For non-skiers, we have three pairs of snowshoes and poles available. There is also pond within walking distance that neighborhood kids skate and play hockey on if you want to bring or rent skates.


THE LOCATION

I'm going to go out on a limb and say we are one of the VERY few AirBNB houses in Santa Barbara with flat, walk barefoot, bring a drink, tow the kids and relax beach access. We're literally two blocks from the beach. You can smell the ocean and hear the surf.

If you need a beach break, we're right across the street from Elings Park and it's endless trails, views, biking and picnic opportunities. We're also about 3 minutes from the Mesa's restaurants, bars and groceries.
Guest access
You have full access to the house. We keep our stuff tucked away in closets and the garage. There is plenty of private parking for at least 3 vehicles.
