Location is excellent! Easy walking distance to the beach, running trail, pier/wharf and all the businesses on State Street. The residence was clean and very comfortable. All communication with Ian was smooth and stress free. We were pleased with the beautiful and quiet neighborhood and would definitely book again when we come back to Santa Barbara!

This is a wonderful place for a vacation or business stay in Santa Barbara. Spotless, well appointed, perfect location in a lovely quiet neighborhood. Our host Ian was responsive, provided spot on recommendations and made us very welcome. I'm already scheming a return visit.

Great location and an easy walk to the Funk Zone, restaurants and shops. There are rental e-bikes at the Amtrack station nearby if you want to venture further. Quiet. Never heard the trains. Also never heard the people in the unit above us. Older home but comfortable. Has splits for AC in the bedrooms and living room which do a good job. Could use an update to the kitchen ware, but adequate for our stay. No dishwasher so could be an issue if you have a bigger group but was ok for us. Would stay here again.

We planned a train ride with our 3 kids for a few days. We arrived a couple hours early so we dropped off our luggage with the cleaning lady. Later we noticed our 2 year olds iPad was missing. After all kinds of investigations the iPad is still lost, my wife is pissed and my son is sad.Other than that the place was super convenient to everything. Be careful with the “cleaning lady”.

The refrigerator looks dirty but it may only be old and rusty, hot dirt. But it works good. Also the frying pans still had grease and cooked on, not scraped, food still on them. One, I washed but didn't use the smaller one. The home is decorated very homey and comfortable. It was in a good location. It also is very roomy and great for 4 of us. Thank you as there was plenty of towels, tissues and dishwash soup. We would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Ian’s property! It was perfect for us being 2 blocks from the beach and less than a 10min walk to downtown. Our 2.5 year old was with us and fit in the pack n play & we found it very suitable for our family. We’d definitely rent from Ian again when we come back!
