Our log cottage on Blue Lake is in a beautiful area of Northwest Michigan. If you like peace and quiet this is the lake front cottage for you. The cottage sits on 100' of frontage and is located on the East side of the lake so we get great sunsets. The fall colors are beautiful. Almost every room in the cottage has a great view of the lake. Listen to the loons calling through out the day and watch the sunset in the evening. There is wildlife galore. Blue Lake is an all sports lake connected by two other lakes. Little Blue to the South and North Blue to the North. Blue Lake is a springfed lake and it's deepest point is 85'. We have many different species of fish so bring the fishing gear and boat. We do have a 40' dock and also a 12' rowboat for your use. There are also ATV and snowmobile trails just down the road from the cottage. This area of Kalkaska County is known as the snow belt. So we get plenty of snow for snowmobiling and skiing. The Blue Bear trail runs right around this area. We have many ski resorts close by. There are many golf courses, wineries, and casinos in the area.

Great cabin and awesome lake
We very much enjoyed our stay........cabin was well kept and clean
Hi Stanley, we are happy that you and your family enjoyed your stay at the cottage. It is always our goal to make sure our guest are happy!! Thanks for leaving the cottage in such a good condition!! You and your family are always welcome back, Todd and Jeanne Kantz.
The cabin was very clean and contained everything you would ever need.
The lake is a small one and incredibly clean with little boat traffic. Made for great swimming and fishing and for a very, very quiet week which was great! It was our first time renting and I would recommend for anyone to rent this cottage. Also, it is close to
Lake Michigan and some tourist spots for a day trip if someone wanted. Anything we needed was there and lots of room to for our family to move around. Just a great place to stay. Thank you Todd & Jeanne!
Had a great time. The grandkids swam almost nonstop. Cabin had everything needed. Beautiful lake!
The cabin is rustic as described, but contained everything we needed. Grill could use to be replaced, but we managed. Ants were a bit of a problem as there is no were to sit outside and get away from them. Great dock, great swimming, beautiful view. Maybe a little remote for us with the grandkids - but the adults loved that. Our phones (AT&T) wouldn’t work most of the time, but maybe that was a blessing. We lost power for a few hours, but owner of the cottage called to let us know they were checking into it. We got the message the next day as for some reasons our phones seemed to work at 7am for a few minutes. Overall, we had a great time!!
very relaxing and quiet lake. Fishing was great in the evening
Cabin was nice. Very clean and well maintained. Had everything you would need. Outdoor chairs, grill, and picnic table.
Charming and relaxing!
Amazing experience. Has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Very clean, spacious and beautiful woodwork. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Would definitely go back!! Thanks for a great weekend away!!
Plenty of beds to sleep 6 men, and plenty of room for 2 trucks and trailers. Everything we needed wa
We went up for a two day snowmobile trip. Home is very close to the trails. There was enough towels and linens in the house. Nice large breezeway to take off all of your gear. Pleanty of room for parking and sleds.
