Absoluuttinen merenranta ylimmän kerroksen huoneisto, jossa on iso Lanai (parveke), jossa on vielä suurempi näkymä. Tämä merenranta-kattohuoneisto sijaitsee neljän kerroksen rakennuksen ylimmässä kerroksessa, ja se tarjoaa ensiluokkaiset näkymät sekä erinomaisen läheisyyden Kona-kaupunkiin ja kaikkeen toimintaan. Right next to banyans surf spot with impeccable ocean view

While the decor and condo complex was a bit of a throwback, the location was without equal. The view was spectacular and it was quite spacious. You can literally see Banyans and Lymans surf spot from the deck.

Better than expected

This condo was overlooking the water. Everywhere you went was an ocean view. Exactly as described and in the photos. It was the perfect amount of space and privacy for my husband and I plus our 3 adult kids and 2 teens. Lots of extras provided…snorkeling boogie boards, and games. We would definitely stay there again.

Family Thanksgiving

This was an excellent place for our family of eight to spend Thanksgiving week. The sunsets from the lanai were beautiful. We enjoyed the daily surfers, dolphins, and turtles. The unit was well stocked (could use a few more coffee cups) but otherwise it was better than most places we have stayed.

Very nice condo in a great location

It was a lovely and very roomy condo. Four bedrooms with three bathrooms was a perfect size for seven adults traveling together. The condo itself is a little dated but updated bathrooms, furniture and flooring. It had everything you need.

Great views!

We stayed here the last three nights of our trip and the lanai and sunsets were amazing! Turtles were right outside the complex and our kids enjoyed the small, but fun pool. The house had all the amenities we needed for the beach and it was a decent location for all the restaurants. Thank you for the use of your home!

Stunning sunset at Kona Bali Kai

We had a lovely visit! The layout of this condo was perfect and made the stay really enjoyable. There was plenty of spaces to be together or alone. The lanai was simply amazing - watched surfers and whales from the day and saw sea turtles in the tide pools from afar and the sunsets looked like postcards. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The location was great - close to town but still quiet. And the town itself is fun day or night.

Loved the location and views from this property. There were plenty of beach items for us to use. Having a full kitchen was nice also. The washer and dryer could use an update. Owner responded quickly to our need for lights to be repaired in two of the bathrooms. Overall a nice place to stay.

Great stay in Hawaii

Property managers are extremely responsive and helpful. House works well for a group. Great lanai with beautiful view and comfortable furniture. Kitchen has everything you need. There are beach towels and other items available for the beach (although we only used the towels). Property could use a little updating. Overall, a great location and a comfortable property.

Breathtaking Ocean and Sunset Views

A wonderful place to getaway, relax on the lanai, and explore the tide pools. The condo was well equipped with everything you might need: kitchen tools, games, washer/dryer, beach toys, and more. The two en suite bedrooms that opened onto the lanai let you fall asleep to ocean sounds. And the best poke on the island is steps away from your front door! The property is a couple miles south of the downtown waterfront area so, you're not in the middle of the busy area, but it's only a short drive away. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing ocean front view

My family of 5 stayed here for 1 week. The spectacular ocean views don't do the picture justice. Home comes equipped with basic kitchen amenities as well as beach necessities, like towels, umbrellas, snorkel gear, sand shoes and toys. The lanai provides outdoor comfort to eat a meal and lay back and watch the surfers, whales and waves. The owners also provided binoculars for us to enjoy the beautiful view. Definitely eat at Da Poke shack located on the property entrance, the best poke in town and catch the sunset at the sandy beach nearby.

Fantastic location and view

Pros: * Location, views, balcony were perfect - spectacular! * Plenty of room for the 6 of us, comfortable beds * Bathrooms/bedrooms nicely remodeled * Washer/dryer, all kitchen appliances * TVs in main room and all bedrooms, WiFi * Plenty of parking * Elevator for elderly mother-in-law * AC in every room (did have to reset breaker a few times) * Nice extras to have available (hats, snorkel gear, boogie boards, drying racks, etc.) Cons: * The handful of cockroaches in the kitchen each morning were hard to overlook * Road noise in the two landward side bedrooms made it difficult to sleep in those rooms All in all, an overall good experience. We would rent again.

Absolutely lovely location, spacious condo!

We stayed in this condo for a week (six nights), and our group included myself and my husband, our two teenage kids (18 and 15) and my older (75) parents. We had a wonderful time, and absolutely loved our stay. Yes, the condo is dated, but everything is perfectly functional and we had no issues. Yes, we saw a cockroach twice (may have been the same one), but we made sure to put food away and never saw another one. The condo is super spacious, plenty of room for six people, and NO ONE will ever top that balcony - incredible. There were plenty of A/C units, which kept us very cool, and a large washer/dryer that we used to wash stuff. The condo was well-stocked with snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, beach towels, and some VERY basic supplies (be prepared to go to the store for more!). Some light switches didn't work, and one of the bedrooms definitely has a full bed, NOT a queen. (The front balcony bedroom that is not the master has a queen - the back bedroom is a full. Not a huge deal for us, but we had to switch some stuff around because my parents couldn't really sleep on the full.) There are three bathrooms, which is fabulous for several people, and the kitchen has just about every dish, pot, and appliance you could want. We cooked all our own meals except for one night, which saved us lots of money. It's located south of the "big" tourist area, which means it's quieter, but you will have to drive 5-10 minutes to get to all that. Loved it all!

Beautiful condo, beautiful views

We felt like honored guests whose needs were anticipated at every step. Communication before, during, and after our stay was excellent. This is a beautiful condo in a well-maintained building in a great location. The other reviews about the unit and some furnishings starting to show some age are accurate, but everything is clean, functional, and of top quality. For future guests who might have hand grip/strength issues, be advised that all the bedroom and bathroom doors are heavy pocket doors and a challenge to slide. On the plus side, these solid wood doors are great for sound privacy. The balcony is big and the sunsets are stunning. We also liked watching the surfers and were delighted to discover that the public access point they use is a small beach at the end of the building. It is too rocky for casual swimming, but there is white sand for wading and lounging.

3-star oceanfront rental

This 3-star rental provides stunning oceanfront views, close proximity to activities, a plethora of equipment provided for our enjoyment, spacious accomodation, and fantastic management communication. However, the complex and unit are very aged and could use renovation and extermination. FYI, close your vehicle vents to prevent bugs from getting inside. The unit was nice but the need for renovations left us feeling like we overpaid for the stay. There was an old stale odor throughout the unit (we purchased and left an air diffuser to help with the smell), there was a water leak in one of the bedrooms celings, there were roaches in the complex, and minor cosmetic fixes which needed to be done. Despite these things, our first family vacation to Hawaii was beyond memorable.

Location is Everything

We needed a place 1) on the ocean 2) equipped with elevator for person with some disabilities 3) place with at least 2 bathrooms (at least one with walk in shower) and 4) an assigned place to park. We ended up with a 4 bedroom but as I said I loved being on the ocean. We have been to Hawaii yearly for the past 40 years. My friend had never been and was the one with disabilities. Absolutely loved the location . Overall enjoyed the place. Tons of dishes, pans, etc in the kitchen. Had an issue with bugs but nothing I have not seein before. The screens had some tears in the bottom (bird entered thru one) and we could not figure out how to run the TV's. We got the bird out without a problem. Despite the nick-picking issues I would definitely stay there again. Got a one bedroom place with the same view :)?

You cant beat this view!

The lanai on this condo is where we spent most of our time. It is absolutely breathtaking! There were frequently turtles in the tide pool, and you cant beat the sound of the ocean with your morning coffee. The condo was also well stocked. We were pleasantly surprised to find almost everything we needed from shampoo to qtips in the bathrooms and snorkels and flippers in the laundry room. It was also useful to have access to the coolers for when we were out for the day and needed to pack some snacks and water! The only reason we didnt give this a 5 star rating is because we did have cockroach activity. While we know they are common on the island, we experienced them in the kitchen and the bedrooms frequently, despite being diligent about not leaving food as we knew other reviewers had struggled with them. We did ask to have the condo sprayed while we were there, but never received confirmation that it was done. We did start placing a towel under the front door, the same day we asked for the spraying to be done and we did not see any of the big ones in the bedrooms after that. The smaller ones in the kitchen were harder to combat, but there was a roach trap in the laundry room that we were able to utilize. Ultimately, the lanai wins the trip for this condo and we are still longingly looking at the pictures we took while out there. Mahalo for your hospitality! The condo.

Great Vacation

Condo was perfect for our group of seven (4 adults & 3 young folk). from ample and comfortable sleeping space to cooking utensils and furniture -- the condo had all we needed. Going to sleep and waking to the sounds of the surf is about as restful as it gets. I'll always remember spending those first few minutes of the day, relaxing on the lanai with a cup of Kona coffee. Surfer's to the right, sound of the surf crashing on the lava rock to the center and a beautiful view to the right. Appreciated the fact that the condo had plenty of beach gear (towels, chairs, umbrellas, body boards, noodles and some snorkel gear). If you don't mind a bit of a walk, Majic sands beach is just down the road, or the trolly will take you the other direction to fun shopping and restaurants. the A/C was a nice benefit, even though the temps were moderate during our stay -- kept the indoor humidity level in the comfortable range. onle issue we had was the bedroom where our two teenage girls slept (no wifi and cable TV box wouldn't power up. Girls also noted they received minor shocks turning the light on and off). The lack of wifi forced them out with the rest of us and who need tv while on a Hawaiian vacation. If someone resolves the electrical issue in the front bedroom, I'd recommend this condo to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay in Kona Hawaii.

Our favorite property of this vacation. Was worried by the reviews, and certainly aspects of the property were dated, but the beds were great and the view and location were fantastic. Bring white noise and earplugs for the back rooms as there is periodic traffic noise. Didn’t see any roaches. Good food in the area. AC was a nice touch. Would stay again.

VRBO was great, enough rooms to accomodate all of us and the 2 ocean facing rooms were beautiful. The kitchen was very handy so we could grocery shop. It was close to most of the excursions we wanted to do. There were games for downtime and also a lot of books to learn about the area. Would 100% stay here again.

Very beautiful condo unit. Had a couple of maintenance issues that were mostly resolved quickly. Parking is easy and well stocked with beach gear.

The view from the balcony was mesmerizing...we spent most of our time while in the condo out there. There could be a little tlc but everything you could need was provided like beach towels, chairs, snorkeling equipment, flippers, binoculars etc.....we didn't have to rent anything but a surfboard and a boogie board. Kitchen is well equipped and i really don't have any bad things to day. i would definitely rent there again.
