Welcome to our condo in popular south Maui at the Kihei Akahi Resort! This beautifully landscaped property, with ocean, island, volcano views, and perfect location is a favorite for visitors from all over the world.
Kihei Akahi, one of Kihei's favorite vacation resort complexes, is on six and a half acres of beautiful lush tropical grounds, with two great swimming pools, 4 large gas BBQ's, and a tennis court. For your convenience, there is an Activity Reservation Center, property office, and book library on the premises. The south side of Maui has the least amount of rain per year, and Kihei Akahi's location right across from a beautiful beach means you are about a 5 minute walk away from the best sunset viewing on Maui.
This beautiful unit (C507) is located on the 5th floor of building C, and has reserved parking place just outside the building. From the 5th floor lanai, take in spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean, Haleakala, Kaho'olawe Island, and the glowing sunset sky over the Pacific Ocean. During the winter months you can see humpback whales from our lanai (balcony).
This one bedroom, one bath condo, with private tiled lanai, is decorated in an island style, and is very clean and comfortable. It sleeps two to four with a new (as of March '16) king-size bed in the bedroom and a full-size sofa bed in the living room. It has a fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, coffee maker, and microwave. There is a washer and dryer in the unit for your convenience. Other amenities include cable TV, internet access, beach backpack chairs and other beach items, adjustable ceiling fans in the living room and the bedroom, and custom adjustable track lighting in the hallways and the living/dining room areas.
What makes Kihei Akahi so very attractive is it's unique location. Directly across the street from the resort is one of Maui’s best beach parks, Kamaole Beach Park II. The sand is light and fine and the water is clean and clear. Just a couple minutes walk up or down the main frontage road (S. Kihei Rd.) you will find many restaurants, convenience stores, and other businesses, and a full grocery store is about a half mile down. Many visitors find everything is so convenient that they do not need a rental car during their stay. There is a tennis court on the property and a number of golf courses nearby.
