West End Modern Private Townhouse, Quiet And 5 Minute Walk To The Beach!

Located in a quiet neighborhood, this home offers privacy, plenty of outdoor space (600 sq. feet of private deck) and luxury accommodations. If that appeals to you then this townhouse is your perfect vacation choice. The first floor has an open design with a fully equipped kitchen, including high end stainless steel appliances (gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher, and fridge), wood cabinets, quartz counters and glass back splash. In addition the kitchen has a complete selection of pots, pans, cooking utensils and small appliances for your use. Also on this level is the dining area, with seating for six that opens to the living space with new furnishings, handsomely appointed fixtures and tastefully chosen art. Access the private outdoor space with deck, umbrellas, table, chairs and gas grill. There is a shower bath on the first floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms (TVs in both), one king bed and one queen bed, a full bath with rain forest shower head, subway tile, ceramic tile floor, spa hotel fixtures and laundry. There are wood floors throughout, central air, ceiling fans, HD cable TV with premium channels, DVD, AM/FM stereo, WIFI, off street parking. During the season we require a weekly or monthly rental. Off season we have 2 night minimum and 3 nights for holiday periods.

Note, as of July 1st 2019 we are required to collect State/Local taxes of 14.45%.

The Carnes cottage was incredibly comfortable, accommodating, and clean. The space is perfect for two couples or a small group of friends. The kitchen was perfect for entertaining. Kevin was a great host from pre-check in all through checkout. We will definitely be coming back!

This was a wonderful and idyllic home to stay in for a friends weekend in Ptown. It felt like an authentic lived-in home adorned with genuine decor and high-quality amenities. We felt right at home as we arrived and really enjoyed the space for meals, drinks, and just hanging out, chatting and catching up on our lives. The location can’t be beat and checking in was a breeze. Kevin was extremely attentive, responsive, and accommodating before, during, and after our stay. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quintessential PTown living experience and will definitely keep this place in mind again for future stays.

This townhouse was the perfect place for our weekend get-away! The place is well appointed with everything we needed. The kitchen had plenty for us to use to cook and serve with. Fully stocked cabinets are wonderful! The home had a nautical theme throughout and was comfortable and very clean. There were also plenty of extra tissues, toilet paper and paper towels, not often seen in many rentals. Having two parking sports was great. The location was ideal and easy walking for us to do all our shopping and dining!! Kevin was quick to answer the few texts we sent him. He was very helpful prior to the trip with getting us all the information we needed to get checked in. We can not wait to rent this lovely place on the Cape again!

Lovely winter retreat

Great west end location

Location was a short 2-3 block walk from the activity of commercial street and yet quiet. A 30 min walk to the west end beach. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped for a gourmet chef. The owner, Kevin, was very responsive to questions , and very helpful with suggestions.

A great stay!

This place is in a fantastic spot. Close to the center of town but tucked away on a quiet dead end road away from the craziness that Ptown can sometimes be during the summer months. Kevin was responsive and and a clear communicator. Checking in and out was seamless and the house was equipped with all the things we needed for the week. Rooms and living space were comfortable and having two full baths was a nice treat with 4 adults staying there. I'd be glad to stay here again.

Great stay

Kevin's home was very clean, well designed and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need and more! As you can imagine, in the middle of winter, in the middle of a pandemic, a good amount of stores and restaurants were closed in Ptwon but we did not have any issue finding places to eat and Kevin provided great recommendations. Macs was great for seafood and Liz's (which is a 3 minute walk from the house) was awesome for dinner and brunch! After a day of walking around on Commercial street, taking a few trips to the beach to watch sunset and a stop at the nearby Truro winery, coming home to a cozy couch and fireplace was fabulous. Overall great stay- thanks!

Pleasant stay marred by damage accusation and repair charge

Property as mostly as listed, weekend stay was pleasant, host was cordial and communicative, UNTIL after checkout... The upstairs shower has 3 ways to get water flowing: overhead rainfall, side, and hand wand. The knob that controls the water kept falling off during our stay. You could sort of wedge it back on, so while annoying, not the end of the world. We did not use the hand wand. My friend and I used the shower as you normally do. Turn the water on, adjust the temperature, turn the water off. Nothing unexpected. I alerted the host at checkout that the shower control handle kept falling off. He checks it and tells me that also the HAND WAND appears to have been pulled out from the wall, it has damaged the wall and he needs to call someone in to repair it. There is no way in hell we did that damage, but since "we were the last ones to use it" we are now hit with a $250 charge for the repair. I complained to VRBO and they did nothing about it. The host maintains that it could only have been us who caused the damage as they themselves were the last ones to use it before us. Presumably someone else damaged it and the host never inspected it and caught the damage earlier. Considering the control was already falling off before we got there is an indication of the state of disrepair this shower was likely already in prior to us. So much for trying to be a helpful guest by alerting the host of an issue encountered with their property. No more VRBO until a resolution.

We loved this place! It’s clean, beautifully decorated and was roomy enough for the four of us. The kitchen is well stocked. The location is perfect - shops and restaurants just a short walk away. Kevin was a great host and responded to questions quickly. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We have been coming to Ptown for many years. We looked for our house for over a year. This place has the charm of the old but all the benefits of new construction. Central Heat and Air, New build, Tankless Water heater etc. We love the natural light, the outdoor private, living air. The bedrooms have large vaulted ceilings and are on the 2nd floor. Walk to Muscle Beach, Boatslip and 1 block from Liz's cafe.

What makes this property unique

Great location, close, but very quiet on a dead end street! Great outdoor space. Great L shaped deck that is 40 feet long and private, exclusive space.
