River View A-Frame Cabin in Yosemite National Park
Riverview is a beautiful, wooden, two-story, A-Frame cabin, with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the South Fork of the Merced River. The open plan living and dining area includes gorgeous floor to ceiling glass and a Fireplace. Major remodeling to the kitchen completed on Feb. 15, 2022. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master suite, this charming cabin accommodates families and groups. Extra sleeping is available in the loft. Nestled in the quaint village of Wawona inside Yosemite National Park, Riverview cabin allows for the full Yosemite National Park experience. For 2024 you will not need a reservation to enter the Park when you are staying at my cabin which is inside the Park.
Yosemite National Park will require advanced reservations to get in for most dates in 2024, which can be difficult to get. But for 2024 reservations are required when you are not staying at a cabin inside the Park. You must still pay the vehicle pass to get in ($35).
Feel free to email me any questions you may have, whether you rented this cabin in the past or if it is your first time. I have been renting on VRBO for 20 years in Wawona.

The cabin was clean and beautiful. We love that there’s a river rock few steps away. Amenities are good except you have to buy your own toilet paper after using the half roll.

Glad you found the cabin clean and beautiful. Management had new cleaning ladies. Sorry they did not leave extra toilet paper. I guess they were not instructed about leaving plenty of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and soap. I dont think this will happen again.
Such a perfect location in Wawona, walking distance to the adorable little market and a quick drive into the valley. Everything we could have needed was provided and the space was very clean and tidy. Group of 6 of us were more than comfortable and loved coming home to the cabin to unwind after our exploring!
The house was not only strikingly lovely, with gorgeous views out to the river, but it was fully stocked with everything we needed. The fireplace was cozy, the beds comfy, the house has plenty of space, big dining room table, fun art of Yosemite around the house, excellent books of the area, a loft with a variety of books, puzzles, and games, and there were conveniences galore throughout the house. We will definitely stay again. There are nearby hikes to beautiful waterfalls, and it is about a 45 minute drive to the Valley. Our host was available and responsive to a few questions we had.
There was wonderful space, a beautiful view of the river, and so many games that kept everyone happy through the rain. The upstairs shower door was broken, making it unusable, but the host is aware and fixing it.
The cabin was absolutely stunning. Beautiful, clean, well stocked with games, books, coffee, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Cant say enough ho wmuch we enjoed this cabin.
Gorgeous home with ample supplies for everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout the house. Beautiful decor and plenty of space for our family. We loved the location on the river and spent a lot of time outside on the porch. Loved everything about this house and will definitely stay again!
Great authentic cabin in a lovely position. Very relaxing and comfortable, everything we needed including a much appreciated welcome pack of a few goodies
We’ve stayed here many times and we still love this home Check in was easy and the home was ready at 4:00. The kitchen was nicely stocked. We enjoyed our stay.
Great location! Wouldn’t mind coming back in the summer to float in the river. Amazing accommodations pots, pans, spices. May need to retire some blankets and comforters due to wear n tear. Love the history in the home. Carpet may need some deep cleaning since it’s pretty dirty. Over all amazing home.

Glad you enjoyed your stay at the cabin. Our 2 times per year carpet cleaning was scheduled for right after you left. Hard to get 3 days where the cabin is not being rented to get the carpets cleaned in the summer.
A really lovely south Yosemite location, offering a refreshing dip in the nearby river (which is also wonderful to be able to listen to from inside the cabin).
Our 3-generation family has a wonderful stay. Rooms were very comfortable. We all enjoyed the deck with the view of the river and the sound of the babbling stream.
We very much enjoyed the view from the upstairs bedroom window. The kitchen was pretty well equipped, but I really had to search for appropriate pans and lids. The thermostat didn’t seem to be working properly. The pre-program settings were confusing and the heat would turn on at odd hours.
The pictures do not do this place justice. It is great to stay inside the park. Don’t miss the swinging bridge local hike. Late May is perfect time to visit. Every comfort provided.

About the host

I am a third generation farmer near Fresno. We grow grapes, almonds and pistachios. I have had a love for the mountains ever since i was young. I spend a lot of time water skiing with my husband. We spend a lot of the winter in Costa Rica water skiing. My sister and i just purchased this cabin together in 2017. We have had 2 other cabins before this one. We were excited to purchase a A-Frame cabin near the river. Something about hearing the river running that you cant get in very many cabins here. Hope you will enjoy this new cabin as much as we are looking forward to time up at the cabin
Why they chose this property
We have had a cabin in Wawona for the last 25 years. Always wanted a A-Frame near the river. There is not much of a turn over of cabins in Wawona. Most are held in the family for generations. There are really very few cabins inside Yosemite National Park. So when this one came available, we just bought it Nov. 2017.
What makes this property unique
Walk down to the river. Great swimming place right close to the cabin. Nice large deck that is in the shade. Enjoy seeing the river from the cabin and mostly hearing the river running from the cabin.
