Unit 163-2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom Gulf Side Club Interior Condominium

This renovated third floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condominium is located on the Gulf side of our property. Because of its central location, it is a short walk to our white sandy beach, the tennis courts, pool and charcoal barbecues. To comply with the Sarasota County Fire Code, our two bedroom units sleep a maximum of six people. The master bedroom is furnished with two full sized beds with a large 50" flat screen TV with HD TV service. The guest bedroom has a king size bed with a 38" flat screen TV with HD TV service. The master bathroom has a walk in shower and the guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination. The living room is equipped with a 55" flat screen TV with HD TV service for your enjoyment. The lovely spacious kitchen has granite counter tops and plenty of cabinets. It is fully equipped with all the items you need for cooking - pots/pans, dishes, utensils, toaster, a coffee maker and a Keurig coffee machine. There is beautiful tile throughout the unit. The comfortably furnished patio allows you and your family to enjoy our warm tropical breezes.

Unit was nice, well kept. Balcony view had an unfortunate electric pole transformer, somewhat obstructing the partial ocean view. On the east side of the property the buildings are showing some age. When asking the office for dishwasher detergent and kitchen paper towels, we were informed that they were not provided. Beach was clean and well taken care of, attendants with chairs were very good.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here. Location was great; only a short walk down to the beach and many restaurants nearby. The gated community provided a safe environment. Only complaints we had were that the refrigerator wasn’t working when we got there and there were a few cockroaches during our stay. The front desk was very quick to address these concerns and send maintenance to our unit.

Relaxing and Comfortable

This condo is great. Perfectly located between the pool and beach. The staff was incredibly nice and made everything super easy.

Siesta key

I would have given 5 stars if it were not for the fact that there were a couple days of our stay when the trash pick-up happened at 730 am. It was very loud, and we found it hard to sleep in after being awakened by the very loud slamming of trash bins. It was just too early for my group to be awakened. Other than this, the stay was very nice. The property was secure and well kept. The location is a short trolley ride to downtown. And the beach was literally a short walk through the property. The room was clean, but the shower did keep backing up. My husband was able to clean the drain which was full of hair. Most VRBO properties we have stayed at, do provide paper towels, some condiments such as salt and pepper, even a few k cups for coffee. We have stayed in well stocked VRBO's that were cheaper than this place. I just think it should have more stocked up for the guest.

Beautiful property! They are actively working on hurricane damage. So there was some noise but it was never super early or late. Condo was clean and well kept. The beach was beautiful!!

Family Vacation

Spent a week at the beach before with our kids. Great location, the beach is well kept and we loved the lounge chair service! We would recommend to family and friends!

Amazing

The Palm Bay Club is a great family destination. You can walk right onto the beach. It's clean, quiet and the condo was exactly what was represented in the pictures. We will definitely be back again! Siesta Key is the best getaway. We enjoyed clear waters, a golfcart excursion all over the island, amazing food and live music everywhere we went. The Palm Bay Club was right in between Siesta Key Village and town. We had access to everything. We can't wait to bring our kids back again.

Perfect family getaway location!

We had a great long weekend at this location. The condo was clean and was literally a 2 min walk to the beach. The community accommodations were great as well. The nicest thing was the private beach, so you didn’t have to worry about the party scene with the kiddos. Staff was great as well. We will definitely be back!

The 3 minute walk to the beach was nice and the trolleys to get around Siesta Key made it the perfect location. The unit was set up nicely and the staff was very nice to work with. The beach was amazing and I would recommend to anyone to come down to this unit.

On the beach

Very lovely condos but could be improved. Elevators were by working ( maintenance issues) and we are all your late 60s/ early 70s. Had to drag our luggage up three flights of stairs. Not happy about that. We should have been told ahead or offered another condo comparable with working elevator. Also not enough towel racks. And some soiled towels/ blankets in one room.

Lovely unit with sweet beach decor

The only downside was the big hydro pole right in front of the balcony if you’re someone who likes to sit outside. It didn’t bother us since we were out most of the time. We read about the thin curtains in a last review and brought one panel of a blackout blind from home for our babies - worked just fine. We would rent this unit again. Overall great stay. Helpful and friendly staff.

cool Siesta Stay

Reviewer Comments: when we arrived we were told we were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. unfortunately we were traveling with a lady who could not do stair. they were kind enought to move us to a different sectio that had a working elevator again on the 3rd floor. our last day there the elevator broke so we had to carry everything down 3 floors and help our friend down the steps. she was unable to leave our unit the last day because she would not be able to get back up the steps so she stayed inside that day. besides the elevator problem the resort is gorgeous. the sand is amazing the palm trees are beautiful the water is amazing. our unit was very nice and we were well satisfied.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit smelled clean when we entered and seemed to be tidy. There is definite wear and tear and some of the furnishings are pretty dated. The second bedroom was very small and the curtains were so thin that the light from the hallway kept us up at night. The primary bedroom had very thin curtains as well. The bathrooms were extremely small. The tub/shower combo had some moldy tile at the bottom. There was a peek-a-boo view of the ocean but there was a large electrical pole blocking most of the view. The unit was very quiet, which was nice. Also, the grounds of the Palm Bay Club are kept nicely and the beach is very wide. Chairs were easy to get. Overall, the location to the beach and village are what makes this worth the money. The unit itself could use some love.

Great Location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was the perfect location halfway between the pool and beach. The beach is amazing! Our first time here and would be back. The elevator wasn't working so that was a bit of a challenge with suitcases -for the third floor but manageable. The beds were comfortable and beach towels were provided. The kitchen was stocked well. The resort supplied beach chairs every day. The security was always polite and even took pictures for us.
