This Fullerwood Drive home is classic late 50’s Florida style house. The house is large and bright with a spacious feel. Well-placed windows provide pleasant views shaded by Spanish moss-draped live oak and magnolia trees on a double lot. The Fullerwood area is a quiet neighborhood one block from the marsh on the Intracoastal Waterway with sidewalks and friendly neighbors to complete this old Florida setting. The Fullerwood quarter is famous for its diversity of architecture and its history. The home has two bedrooms, 1 and ¾ baths and sleeps four comfortably.
The drive from the house to historic downtown St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, or to beautiful Vilano Beach is less than five minutes. Or you can take a 30 minute walk to downtown past famous historical locations, cool and unique souvenir and gift shops, live acoustic music and delicious dining.
Features of the house include oak floors, heart pine cabinetry in the fully equipped kitchen, a classic bright Florida room for cozy time, carport, large paver patio equipped with patio furniture, tiled front porch, and proximity to all of St. Augustine’s attractions.
The large master bedroom has its own tiled three-quarter bath and is furnished with queen-sized bed, lots of drawer and closet space, and view of the aloe garden and the hundred-year old live oak trees in the large fenced back yard.
The full bathroom access is in the hallway between the bedrooms. The bathroom has been restored to its 50’s glory of pink and grey tile with large deep tub/shower combination.
The second bedroom is pleasant and comfy furnished with a double bed and lots of drawer and closet space.
The house is decorated with a fun eclectic mixed styles of décor, including rustic American and art deco. The Florida room is bright and airy, perfect for your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. The large kitchen is completed by a mid-20th century style wood divider with a sun-filled breakfast nook. Listen to the morning mockingbirds and watch the many other types of songbirds feed while relaxing in the breakfast nook or on the patio.
