Wonderful stay

The house was as pictured and very comfortable. There were lots of fun games. Was a great fit for our family. We were able to bike from the house down to the trails and the Aquarium but it was a little challenging for under 10. It is extremely quiet in the evenings. We saw multiple dear, including new fauns.

Perfect for us

My husband and me stayed here for 3 nights while visiting the area. We loved how convenient, clean, efficient and comfortable it was. It was exactly as advertised, which is not always the case with online listings! Chris took care to keep the property in good condition with thoughtful and practical touches. Very comfortable bed for great nights sleep.

Cozy Cottage, Amazing Host

Chris’ cottage was our home base for exploring Monterey, Carmel, and Big Sur. The location is ideal, the cottage is charming, and Chris is a gracious and friendly host. Highly recommend!

Clean and spacious

Loved this house! Neat, tidy, great local aesthetic without being too “cute.” Chris was friendly and informative and the property was lovely. Not a super short walk, but a very easy one, to dinner and shopping.

Great visit to Pacific Grove!

The house was just what we were looking for. Visited on a weekend with family for a golf trip, and the house was perfect. Chris was also a very welcoming and warm host. Five stars!

Cute and convenient!

This is a cute house and comfy for a couple and two other teens or adults. Easy parking on a quiet street, easy check in/out and nice amenities. A few block walk to the adorable town with - again - cute coffee shops, restaurants, etc. This was our jumping off point to touring and the 17 mile drive, among other stops, so we weren't at the property much. (If staying longer, we'd probably need a little outdoor space or a bit more room.) Owner was extremely gracious with special treats and advice for touring, and should take great pride in an extremely well maintained home!

Wonderful stay

Chris’ place is immaculate. He was extremely friendly and there to offer advice. He even helped us in with our bags. He has a really great game collection which our family really appreciated. The neighbourhood is quiet and well situated for exploring the area. We hope to return as it was such a great experience!

Perfect fit for our trip

The homeowner greeted us when we arrived and could not have been more friendly, helpful, or accommodating. The house is absolutely perfect, decorated in a way that my wife is still talking about several weeks later. (Seriously though, she wants me to mention how amazing your knives are :)) The house had everything we needed for the 4 of us to have a great few days in Monterey/Pac Grove. It is walking distance to waterfront and several restaurants and coffee shops, and whatever you are interested in doing, just ask Chris and he will provide expert local information. You could definitely walk to the aquarium if you were up for it. We drove and didn't have trouble finding street parking. If we are ever back in the area, we will absolutely be renting from Chris again. Thanks for everything.

Perfection!

For starters, the house is in a great location, so charming, and has everything you need. Chris, was so wonderful and was available for anything we needed. His hospitality was the very best. Pacific Grove is the perfect little town. It reminds me of something out of a movie. It’s also very close to Carmel and not far from Santa Cruz for surfing. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this home for your stay in Pacific Grove.

Couldn’t be better

The house and its owner, Chris, were both fantastic. The house has abundant curb appeal and is even better inside. The bathrooms were clean and bright, the bedrooms were comfortable and tranquil, and the communal space was ample and charming. Speaking of charming, Chris was an outstanding host. Centrally located and on a quiet street.

My friends and I enjoyed the place and the hospitality that Chris showed us. We were centrally located. Just a couple minutes drive to golf courses and dining. The owner has put some hard work into his place and it shows. The property and house were very clean. We would definitely stay again.
