Our 12-acre resort is situated in the beautiful hills of Midwestern Wisconsin, complete with a private 3.5-acre spring-fed lake, four beaches, and four homes located 100 feet apart, allowing for a safe and private getaway. Our lake is stocked with bass and bluegill, and each house is equipped with a hot tub, indoor fireplace, flat-screen TV, full kitchen, and central air, plus a peddle boat, row boat and dock making it perfect for all types of travelers. Birch Lake Secluded Getaway LLC is the perfect destination for those looking for a tranquil and relaxing getaway. Our 12-acre resort offers four homes with spectacular views of the lake. All homes are listed on Vrbo and conveniently located in the rolling hills of central Wisconsin. We also offer a variety of outdoor activities, including volleyball and badminton, row and paddle boats for use and plenty of open space for a range of activities. For larger groups, we can accommodate up to 44 people overnight for weddings, company retreats, family reunions, church trips, and any other type of large get-togethers.

The property was gorgeous and very well maintained. Very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The cabin was great and the hot tub was the cherry on top for our relaxing vacation. We can't wait to come back again.

Very nice little cabin, it was cozy, clean and had good privacy on a beautiful piece of property. Hot tub was clean and the temperature was good. Our host was very nice and responsive. We will definitely be staying there again.

The cabin was great. We loved the private lake and the walking trail around the property. We had a great time relaxing here. It was nice and quiet. We saw a lot of fish, ducks, and even a woodchuck. We'll definitely be coming back.

This "lakeside" cabin was on a pond full of green alge that stunk, so we couldn't even go swimming. The owner told us that people have been swimming in it all year, there was no way that was true. My kid plugged in a phone charger and the outlet sparked really bad and blew the circuit breaker leaving her finger black and feared plugging anything into any outlet afterwards. The fire pit was in the front 2 feet away from sidewalk but the picture of the cabins fire pit was actually the fire pit of the next door cabin. We learned that all the cabins advertised pictures were very old and/ or false and taken from a different cabin. This place is a complete scam!!!

We had a lovely time at The Ranch! There was an odor in the cabin when we first arrived but it was taken care of quickly and graciously by the host and his team. We had a great time grilling on the deck and the hot tub was an excellent addition. We will definitely be back again!

The home was nice however cleaning was a bit disappointing. We did find out the people before us did not leave until a few minutes before our arrival and they were cleaning with the people there. Overall stay is good, cleaning of the home needs to be stepped up a bit. We washed all dishes, found mice dropping in the draw with knives. The fishing is great, I did not swim, to many snappers for my comfort zone. Would stay again if it was for fishing, (catch and release is requested on signs in cabin) I did text and was told we could keep what we would eat while there. Price is OK for what it was and they did communicate well. The hot tub needs some updates, jets not great, and of course they said they had to drain it before we got in because food was dropped in it. No smell of chlorine so Wal Mart does have some. Place is quiet and very pretty. We had the smaller Ranch Cabin.

You won't smell chlorine in our hot tubs because we use bromide instead. Many allergic to chlorine.

Cozy Getaway

The cabin was very comfortable for the two of us for the weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening, and the wild life in the morning, drives through country, and shopping in Tomah.

Its ok for adults

Great stay just not for kids. Lake is a pond and it is full of snapping turtles.

While these turtles can be aggressive on land when approached by people, they usually choose to swim away from people when encountered in the water. Therefore, they are not considered to be a threat to swimmers in ponds and lakes

This property is wonderful. The outdoor space is perfect and allows for ample access to enjoy your surroundings. Check-in was beyond easy and the space was set up with everything we needed for our stay. The lake water was a little murky, but it seems it depends heavily on which way the wind is coming from, just like any other body of water. Overall, we definitely recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

Welcome to Birch Lake Secluded Getaway! We are Sally and Terry. What a great blessing it was to stumble onto this beautiful 12-acre property in 1995. Even though the only convenience here was an outhouse (including no plumbing or electricity!) we fell in love with the rolling hills and beautiful lake. As former city dwellers and corporate dropouts who had made the choice to get out of the traffic and noise, we headed to the country with nothing specific in mind except to just get away from it all.

Starting from scratch was an adventure where over the next ten years, Birch Lake slowly began to develop. It was so much fun to put in the opportunities for the simple escape to nature; Ranging from the hiking trail in the woods, the little waterfall, and the deck out on the water. It was because of these ideas in which Birch Lake came into being. As we began to offer this experience to others we expanded, adding one cabin after another; Having each cabin carefully designed to complement and fit into the surroundings.

It has truly been a pleasure to receive the gift of trust that we deeply value from our guests. The fond memories that our guests create are what make up the ambiance of our Wisconsin vacation rentals.

It is our hope that if you decide to come here that you too will discover the peace and beauty of this gem we call Birch Lake.
