It was wonderful! We have stayed in cabins before but this was by far the top . Cabin was beautiful and very well equipped for our every need! The bear was a serendipity!

Very nice cabin!

This cabin was very nice and very family oriented!We loved the arcade! We also loved that the cabin was 20mins to pigeon forge or gatlinburg. The cabin parking wise can hold only three vehicles which was perfect for us. Definitely would recommend

Spring break in the Smokey Montains!

We really enjoyed our stay. House is perfect location to the town of Gaitlinburg. We hiked/fished daily and enjoyed our evenings in town. Weather was great. We saw bears, turkeys, and deer! Highly recommend Magic Mountain Retreat!

Great location

This property was in the perfect spot to see Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There were several local restaurants that were perfect for lunch or dinner.

Great place

Overall the place was excellent. Location was great far enough away from city life to be quiet but close enough to everything without driving all day. Amenities were as described, excellent communication. Will be on our lists of places to stay.

Absolutely perfect

The cabin was perfect. In proximity to the park and town, luxurious, private, clean. Linda was kind and a great host. Our family really enjoyed the stay and hope to be back soon!

Nice place and great location

Overall the cabin was great. Our daughters were playing in a soccer tournament at Rocky Top Sports World and the location of this cabin was perfect. We will definitely try to book it again next year when we come.

Fabulous stay

Linda was super easy to talk to, responds quickly. Cabin had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen had it all, kids loved all the fun things to do on the lower level. We spent a lot of time in the porch swing! Close to everything, quiet neighborhood! Would stay here again!

Great stay at Magic Mountain Retreat while vacationing in Gatlinburg!

Visited Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge for the first time, great stay and experience at Magic Mountain Retreat. Linda is a fabulous host, great communication. House was impeccable, every room comfortable to be in. Outside deck space and furniture was perfect. Looking forward to another trip to the area and stay at the cabin in the future. Incredibly perfect!

Beautiful cabin

the cabin was just like what was pictured . . . wasn't disappointed. there was no mountain view due to the leaves still on the trees, but it's in the mountains out of the city. . . still a close drive to everything. the cabin was well stocked with supplies for kitchen/bath & had a nice separation (one on each level) for the bedrooms & bathrooms. great time!

Weekend Getaway

Booked this cabin for a weekend getaway for my family. I was looking for a cabin stay where there was enough space for everyone to spread out (in-laws all met for the first time) and there was enough options in case the weather didn't cooperate. This place delivered. Everyone had there own room, bathroom, and basically, floor. We all had a great time! The weather was fine and we ended up spending more time out than in but this cabin provided enough options I have no doubt we could have spend the whole weekend there without getting bored. The hot tub was great! Its on the bottom deck so it's covered from the elements. The game room is a nice touch to keep everyone entertained and even corn hole boards outside. Plenty of seating inside and out to spread out. Only about a 10-15 minute drive to gaitlinburg's main strip. Plenty of cute little shops and places before you even get to the main road to check out as well. Overall had an amazing time. Place is spacious, clean, and stocked with the essentials. The host answered very quickly to any messages I sent. I would definitely stay again!

We had a great time! A group of 6 ladies, celebrating a 60th birthday. The property was beautiful, and was a great set up for us! We really enjoyed having a hot tub on the property, and used it daily!

This cabin was immaculate clean. Air was cool for the hot days of summer to come back to. Every room had tvs, including outside above the hot tub, which was a first for us. The bedrooms were plenty spacious for everyone. The added touch wss the jetted tub in the main suite. My wife ultimately picked this cabin because of the vintage stove which was cool. They also had a pool table, arcade system, and an air hockey table which was great because I stink at pol… lol. The added bonus was the corn hole on the side of one of the decks. We got our game on there. Everything we needed was provided from bedding to kitchenware. This is also the first cabin we didn’t have to go out and get paper towels or t.p. even though we stopped before we checked in to get some. I was very pleased with the cabin all in all. The only downfall I had was the neighboring cabin had four vehicles and did take some of our cabins space. We came in with two cars and fit without too much issue. It was also level ground parking which is something I learned to look for over the years. The neighbor was was quiet and peaceful. Thank you for a great stay and quick communications with us.

Loved it

We usually go to the coast , with kids grown now they wanted something different . Loved hot tub and game room. Would have liked to seen Roku or smart / streaming TV. But hey that just out family lol! Great host great time!

I absolutely loved this cabin! It was beautiful. It was very clean. The only downfall was it wasnt very toddler friendly. Which isnt their fault. I would definitely stay there again.

Quiet Friend Trip Location

We really enjoyed our stay. We had originally planned on six of us friends going, but only four could go. This worked out because there are four beds (there are also two sleeper sofas in the shared spaces). The kitchen was clean and easy to navigate. The bathrooms were also super clean. The upstairs king bedroom is the one with the whirlpool tub. The main level has the other king bed and a pull out couch in the kitchen/living room. Downstairs is the 2 queen bedroom and a pullout couch in the game room. Communication was so easy and fast! There is no view of anything here as the trees are well-established right off the back porch. Just keep that in mind if you want a "view". The street has several other cabins in a row, but we never heard anyone during our stay. We were super close to everything in Pigeon Forge which was really nice. We highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful stay!!

Great ummer vacation

Cabin was gorgeous. Very clean. Easy communication with owners when needed. Only 10 minutes from attractions and food. Drive up was very easy and accessible for our large SUV. Plenty of space for parking.

Chris and I are from Gallatin TN just north of Nashville. We loved going to Gatlinburg for quick weekend trips. After being disappointed time after time renting cabins that were run down and just not as described or pictured we decided to purchase our own. We love Magic Mountain Retreat and take great pride in keeping it clean and updated.

Location Location Location!!!!! It just doesn't get any better than this! You can be downtown in just a few minutes or take the back roads and skip the traffic through the spur to be in Pigeon Forge in minutes. Beautiful cabin with great layout! The 3 levels to this cabin allows privacy to each bedroom. The Hemlock Hills Resort is wooded and tranquil.
