- Fireplace Availability: Not available May – September. The outdoor fire pit is not permitted by the town, and fireworks are illegal. Any use of fireworks will result in immediate eviction without refund.
- Security: Security cameras are positioned at entrances; there are no interior cameras. Motion sensors and a decibel monitor are in place.
- Communication: One guest must have a working cell phone, as the property does not have a landline.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Put sheets into the washer and start the cycle. Collect any additional linens, towels, etc. and place into the hamper in the spare room.
All trash and recyclables can be put into the trash for removal (up to 8 bags). If you wish to recycle, you must take your recycleables.
Please complete all tasks on the check-out list, located in the green binder. The fireplace must be turned off or you will incur a daily charge.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The home is in a wooded area. Don’t leave food or coolers unattended outside. It will attract area wildlife.
Guest assumes all risk & responsibility if they choose to use gas fireplace. No smoking, candles, fireworks, or open flame allowed.
Visitors are responsible for all items on the check-in & check-out forms. Not completing these items may result in additional cleaning & support fees.

Everything we needed in the Kitchen and Bathrooms was supplied by the owners. Very well equipped kitchen and quite a large refrigerator with ice maker. The bedrooms were ample in size and the bathrooms were spotless. The living room was quite spacious and lots of activities supplied also. Our overall stay was lovely and we really appreciated the owner providing a Christmas tree for holidays.Thank You from The Flynn Family Ireland

This was an amazing property that was located within minutes of great restaurants and Silver Lake beach. The home was spacious, with great bedrooms, living room, and kitchen, and the deck was an amazing space at the end of a long day to kick-back and relax outdoors. The owners were amazing and extremely engaging and supportive! They kept us informed and reached out to ensure everything was going well throughout our vacation. We highly recommend this property!!

Great spot for home base King Pine trip

This was our first family ski trip where all five of us were skiing. The house was a great home base. We got to King Pine very easily. We enjoyed a nice dinner out, great breakfasts and dinners at home, and we were able to pack up lunches for the day to keep everyone warm and full. Julie was great to work with. Hoping to make this a family trip for years to come. Thanks Bishop family!

South Madison Relaxation

Exceptionally relaxing stay at this vacation home secluded in the Silver Lake woods. Very convenient location as a home base for exploring the areas East of Lake Winnepesaukee. My family and I found this home to be very cozy for enjoying down time during our travels. Tastefully decorated with vintage ski lodge nostalgia, and local area artwork. Very well appointed kitchen and a dining area capable of feeding a small army. There were plenty of couches, recliners, blankets and throw pillows to keep everyone comfortable. Owner was accessible and communicative during our entire stay. Highly recommend this rental home.

Met our expectations

We came to the area for a funeral. The house was big enough for our family of 5 and 3 more comfortably. The house was clean and easy to find. Probably the only issue we had was getting pretty warm in the day, but it was mid July with no AC, so that was to be expected. Quick response from the owner with questions/concerns.

Winter Weekend Getaway

My husband and I treated our adult daughters and their boyfriends to a winter getaway weekend. The house was welcoming and comfortably set up for all of us. We found all the amenities pleasing. We especially liked that we could spread out throughout the house making our stay less stressful. We were a short ride to North Conway and Mt. Cranmore. We chose to eat in verses going out and the home was well supplied with more than adequate kitchen ware to make dinner and breakfast preparation easy. We hope to return to enjoy this property at another time of year.

Weekend wedding

We were up in the area for a family wedding and needed a place to stay. This house was convenient for the venue and suited our needs. The house was so cozy with the old hardwood flooring and fireplace nestled in the woods. It has Everything anyone needs which is refreshing for a weekend rental. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We would recommend this house to any renter

nice comfortable home

The property was everything we thought it would be and our stay was enjoyable. The dishwasher doesn't actually clean the dishes (they were pretty nasty), so we had to wash all glasses, plates, cutlery by hand in order to use them and then again after using them. To the owner's credit, they offered to bring in their cleaning service to help us and compensated us for our troubles. That was more than they needed to do and it was very nice that they did this. I'm sure they realize that it's time to replace the dishwasher. The house/bathrooms/bedrooms were all clean and comfortable. A good light for the grill area would be helpful too (or bring a headlamp) especially in shoulder seasons when the sun sets earlier. Bottom line is that with a working dishwasher, we'd all happily stay here again.

White Mountains

Communication with owner was quite easy. Home was well stocked with basic supplies. Well located for dining out, especially maple ice cream. Very much enjoyed the Nature Conservacy Pine Barrens, blue berries. Great beaches for swimming and lots of local places for short hikes.

So good to be home!

After living in the area for almost 20 years, we moved away to the Midwest last year. This trip was our first visit back after our move & we could not have been happier with the property. It was perfect for catching up with friends & family we hadn’t seen in a year. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating & it was just right all around!! We will certainly look into staying here again next year!!

We had a great stay!

The house was very clean, cozy with plenty of space and fully equipped. The beds were comfortable with plenty of extra linen. Living room area had plenty of comfortable seating for all guests in our party. Lots of games for all ages. House is centrally located to fun activities for all seasons and shopping. We will definitely be back.

Charming and cozy

This home is charming, cozy ,comfortable and clean. The pictures and description are accurate. Nearby to The Preserve, Silver Lake and the mountains. There are some beautiful hikes nearby too. Highly recommend this place.
