"Idle Hour" Family Friendly Retreat

Comfortable SMOKE FREE family home, 4 bedroom, 2 bath with ground level but inside shower, 5 minute walk to the beach and great proximity to handicapped beach access, Second street runs parallel to Ocean front. Showers are available at the beach access and car and golf cart parking are also available if desired. MUST be at least 28 years old to rent.

I like to say the kitchen is vintage! Although not yet updated, it is equipped with all needed amenities including refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender and Keurig coffee maker (both cups and carafe). The bar area seats 4 and the kitchen table seats 6.

The den area is equipped with a flat screen TV. High speed internet is provided at no additional charge. Roku present for streaming.

Upstairs bathroom has a newly updated stand up shower with hand held wand. Downstairs bathroom has a stand up shower with hand held wand.

There are 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs bedrooms. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a flat screen TV. The other upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and 1 twin bed. A downstairs bedroom also has a queen bed, twin bed and a flat screen TV. The final bedroom has 2 twin beds. All beds have new mattresses. All TV's have Roku present for streaming. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience.

This home has had recently updates/renovations over the past 5 years to include a washer/dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher. The deck and entry stairs have been rebuilt. The air conditioner is 3 years old. Deck chairs are provided. There is a gas grill located at ground level for your grilling needs. Grill MUST be used on the ground level.

There is an electrical outlet on the ground level designated for a golf cart.

Ocean Isle/Brunswick County has many amenities including tennis, 40+ golf courses and numerous options for runners, walkers and bikers.
