Well it’s true, we are way out here. Very rural. It’s just what many people are looking for. Very Peaceful, quiet, far from city noise, pollution and crime. For the smaller businesses, mainly restaurants, the working hours are reduced to what business owners can afford due to State regulations for Covid19. As for Sailors Rest, we are making upgrades as we can afford. I’ve always been very honest when asked about the internet capability. We do have internet, but not high speed or zoom capability. It has not been an issue before this year, but seems to be the way of the future, due to more people working remotely and virtual schools. So we are planning to upgrade the internet to cutting edge standards this winter. The electric fireplace is listed on my sight as “Electric” and always has been. It creates a beautiful ambiance and is actually a heater too. The game room is indeed finished. It is Painted, has recessed lighting, resurfaced flooring and is nicely furnished. It is not yet climate controlled or completely sealed off, but is already planned for this winters project. It should be finished by Spring. Crickets in fall, can happen to any ground level room or garage. The few that are able to get in are always dead or dying as I have monthly pest control. As for cleanliness, I inspected the property myself and it was spotless. I take pride in my property and have very high cleaning standards. In addition to an air purifying system that kills mold, bacteria, virus and other allergens, we sanitize every surface including, doorknobs, TV remotes, etc. If there was something missed by both my cleaning staff and myself, it would have been corrected immediately, as I’m only 600 ft away (as I told you at check in). I’m sorry that Sailors Rest wasn’t suited to your needs, but I welcome your feedback and we will be addressing the necessary issues that need our attention, just after the first of the year.
