Sites that will prove Fripp Island unique to any place you have ever visited are deer along the natural areas, beautiful marsh views that continue for miles, dolphin and birds playing in the waterways and ocean, crabs by the crabbing docks, and the occasional alligator on the bank of a pond on one of the two golf courses on the island, one being designed by Davis Love III. In addition, tennis is available under moss-dripped live oaks on both hard and soft courts.

Truly a Delight!

  • 5 of 5

First I'd like to thank the Owner Millie for everything she did. She went above and beyond to stay in touch during my entire stay. This location is a Paradise. Everything from watching Deer to Birds and Alligators. The property described is everything as claimed. It was well maintained and has all the amenities to prepare a large meal for a group with enough seating for at least 10. I loved that their were two separate Master Suites with their own bathroom; thus it would be good for two couples! It is close enough to go out and explore all the different areas in and near the island. There was a golf cart and bikes provided...I didn't use the cart but took full advantage of riding around as much as I could. If you love to fish you can rent a boat and go out on the ocean. Oh, theres Tennis and Golf for those that desire! I found a quaint restaurant called the Foolish Frog off Island; I can't say enough about the food it was so awesome. I would have no problem coming back to Fripp if and when the time comes. I have already made several referrals to family and friends if they want someplace to stay unique. I thank Millie and her family for allowing me to stay as long as I did. It truly felt like I was in my own Home.

Great view, very clean and updated with free cart and bikes

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this house for a week in July and really had a great time. We really enjoyed the views of the waterway off the back deck every afternoon. We will definitely be back and will look to stay in this house again. It was very clean and has nice updated furniture with a well stocked kitchen. You can walk to Bonito Boathouse so we did that several times over the week. You're also very close to the beach access and to the Ocean Creek golf course. Our kids loved it and so did we - can't wait to go back.

Awesome place to be on Fripp

  • 5 of 5

This was our family's first vacation in years. I searched the internet for destinations for some time before deciding on Fripp. It didn't take as long, however, to decide on this property. We were not dissappointed!! What a beautifully decorated and comfortable home!!! We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and crabbing without having to travel with all those extra items. The kitchen was also well stocked and we cooked almost every night. Also, the golf cart rides were SO much fun. Seeing the deer, alligators, and mostly just soaking up every moment of the island!! The morning bike rides were also fun!! My only concern when arriving was Island Excersion's next door, but it was NO notice at all for our entire week!! We do hope to be back next year, booking early to not miss out on this property!! Thank you Milie for being so excellent to work with and for sharing your beautiful Fripp Island Home!!

Fantastic Spring Break family vacation!!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family decided to go somewhere new for spring break this year, and thought we'd give Fripp Island a try, and we are SO glad we did! Knowing nothing about this area, Millie was so patient and most helpful! Her home is wonderful, comfortable and well equipped for a family's stay. The beds are comfortable, kitchen is well stocked, and the views are great. We especially enjoyed riding the bikes and exploring the island via golf cart. Although Camp Fripp was not yet open, there were daily activities at the activities center, staff was very friendly and informative - we especially enjoyed the 'meet the animals' morning! We never even turned the tv on, we were too busy looking for gators (yes, saw several), counting the deer (they are everywhere!!) and exploring. We took one day to go to Hunting Island State Park, right over the bridge from Fripp, and it was lots of fun - climbing to the top of the lighthouse, we found live starfish on the beach, and exploring the many trails and beach. It was a truly fun and wonderful family vacation, even our 9 yr old kept saying this was the best vacation ever! Thank you, Millie, for sharing your home with us. We can't wait to visit again!

Awesome October vacation

  • 5 of 5

These reviews are all acurate. My husband and I spent last week here and we absolutely loved it. All appliances worked, the bed was comfortable, the golf cart works as promised, the view of the marsh right out your balcony is very nice, too. Although this house is directly next to the golf cart rental place, we weren't bothered by it, in fact, it was somewhat convenient to walk over to and rent scooters! The proximity to the marina and the golf cart rental place was not a bother for us; however, we were there in the off season...

The house is great and well worth the expense, at least in October!

The deer and aligators were everywhere.

We love this house and have stayed here several times. Pristine clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bedding, large bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and AMAZING view of the marsh. Plenty of room for our family of 6. On this trip we got to see Dolphins from the master bedroom window! Favorite memories include the morning bike rides, walks on the beach, spotting an alligator, crabbing at night and of course ALL of the golf cart rides! Favorite place to eat is the Boathouse.

Highly recommend this home as a lovely place to enjoy beautiful Fripp!
