Have your morning coffee or evening beverages on your own front porch while watching the Commercial Street gallery stroll go by. Spend the day on the harbor beach across the street... relax and grill in your own backyard ... fall across the street to the Mews or the galleries. Enjoy the comfort and convenience of your condo in the Captain Bangs House in the near East End. This one bedroom end-unit condo is equipped with broadband access, cable flat screen TV (HBO,SHOWTIME,Netflix), a kitchenette, a pullout living room sofa, and both a front porch and back yard with your own entrances. Linens are provided. Parking is available on nearby streets or off-street pay lots... offloading on premises. We rent Sat to Sat weeks from late May thru October; shorter 3 night stays in the off season.

If you have walked in the East End, you probably know our house and have even taken pictures! We have rented our 1 bdrm condo regularly for many years. It's a popular spot located just an easy 10 minute walk east from the ferry. The condo features a wonderful front porch for morning/evening beverages and people watching; a light and bright living and dining area with a pullout couch; a galley kitchenette complete with all you might need; and a comfy bdrm with french doors out to a shady back deck and large backyard for grilling. Visitors especially enjoy being able to walk across the street to the beach for the day or a quick dip or low tide scavenging on the flats. You will find it convenient to skip downtown for shopping, dining or a show. Or many guests simply enjoy being able to have an evening relaxing on the porch and either dining in the backyard or steps away at the Mews or Ciro & Sal's. Wireless internet and full cable TV package for movie watchers. Parking is available on nearby streets and often right out front! The perfect spot for singles, couples, families and friends! Ask us about additional accommodations in the neighborhood for your vacationing friends!

perfect location!

The location was close to everything yet quiet (with the exception of some barking dogs, but no loud music or restaurant noise). This made it perfect for a combination of touristy adventures while needing to study in between. There is a very nice backyard with a big dinner table and a lovely front porch where you can people watch or just relax. Town beach was right across the street, and host provided a generous amount of beach-going supplies.

This is an amazing place to stay, close to the action but quiet enough to feel peaceful. It’s a joy to sit on the front porch and watch people go by. The apartment is well-appointed and is good value for money. The owner was very kind and considerate. Highly recommended!

Great stay!

We enjoyed much about the apartment, which was perfect for the two of us. Our favorite aspects were the location, (great for people watching on the street), the proximity to the center of town but a bit less noisy, access to the beach across the street, and the sweet backyard with a great grill we used several times. The place was very clean and, manager, Lee Ash was very welcoming and eager to help out in any way.

It’s a wonderful place.. I loved sitting on the front porch people watching, having a drink, the corgi visits from next door were a bonus. The bed was so comfortable, I hated leaving it! Lee is a great host, easy to contact and quick to answer. I would love to stay here again!

It is a cozy unit at a great location, perfect for our family of 3! A small beach is just across the street and the pier and town center are within walking distance. Lee and the neighbors are very kind and always helpful. We had a great time at P-town.

Perfect Ptown stay

Our family is familiar with ptown, and hoped for a close East end location, what we got was so much more!! Pleasant neighbors, comfortable property, well stocked with all necessary kitchen needs. Lovely soft bath towels, very comfortable bed all in a great location in town. Wonderful porch perfect for people watching, but private enough to be quiet at night. We plan to stay again in the future!

Location! Location! Location!

We had a FANTASTIC stay in this condo. It was clean, nicely decorated and the perfect size for our small family of 3. Lee (and her two dogs) were welcoming and friendly hosts, always ready with a recommendation when we needed it. The best part about this place though was the location. We didn't need our car the entire week (except for the 5 minute drive to the National Seashore). It's a 2 minute walk to the center of all the action which is just far enough away to still enjoy fantastic people-watching from the front porch and yet not be kept awake from all the noise. We also enjoyed the great little bay beach right across the street. The only negatives were the parking situation (a bit difficult to find a spot close by) and the kitchen is teeny tiny. But everything else more than makes up for these minor inconveniences. My memories of sipping coffee on the front porch with a perfect croissant (from the market just a block away) will carry me all through winter.
