"Round The Bend" är ett charmigt, traditionellt öhem med 3 sovrum, 3 fulla bad, en öppen planlösning och en svepande utsikt över andra våningen på Atlanten. De rymliga främre och bakre däcken är omgivna av vackra grunder som sträcker sig över en 1 hektar stor tunnvatten, med färska blommande buskar, klättrande rosor och en stor inhägnad trädgård. Bara en kort promenad till stranden är det den perfekta miljön för familj och vänner att samlas och njuta av allt som en sommarlov på Nantucket har att erbjuda.

Första våningen har ett stort, inbjudande vardagsrum med öppen spis och TV; renoverat kök med granitbänk och rostfria apparater; lätt fylld matplats för 6 med skjutdörrar till ett rymligt bakdäck för uteservering. Stort sovrum med två enkelsängar och ett underhållnings- / spelrum med 50 "smart TV. Fullt kaklat badrum och stort framdäck.

På andra våningen finns två stora solbelysta sovrum, båda med utsikt över vattnet och skyhöga katedraltak. Sovrummet har en king size-säng och ett stort badrum. Ett andra badrum är bekvämt beläget intill det andra sovrummet, som har en queen size-säng. Ett stort nedsänkt däck med fantastisk utsikt över Atlanten kan lätt nås från båda sovrummen på övervåningen. På natten, somna till ljudet av havsvågor under en hisnande stjärnor av himlen!

Oavsett om du är en erfaren besökare till ön eller kommer för första gången, "Round the Bend" kommer din Nantucket-semester att bli komplett. I slutet av en lång dag är det ett fritidshus som du verkligen kommer att älska att komma hem till!

Peaceful get away from the hustle of downtown. A fresh and airy little gem of a place to relax and rest. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Wish the fireplace was working but we’ll have to revisit to use that again. Downstairs tv room could easily double as spill over for a pack and play or blowup mattress.

Peaceful haven in beautiful part of Nantucket

This house was so beautiful- even better than in the pictures!The house had beautiful features and rooms, a gorgeous garden with a deck overlooking. It had deer in the morning and a little secret garden too.The house had everything you need for a gorgeous Nantucket stay including a well stocked kitchen, games and beach activities. The beach was nearby and so quiet and beautiful, we preferred this beach to the main beaches by far! You could easily walk or drive. Easy and quick to get to other parts of the island when needed. Ed was so helpful with every part of the stay.

Amazing!

We had an incredible experience at this spot :) it felt like we were staying at a little hotel! Everything was super clean and kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy for a private chef to come and cook one night! The listing was exactly as described. Check in and check out process was super easy… and the host responded to any questions we had within half an hour! I would recommend this place to anyone with a family or a group of friends. Thank you!!

Best Family Rental Yet!

We recently stayed at Round the Bend in Nantucket for two weeks with our four children, and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. Having rented different homes on the island for over 10 years, we can confidently say this was the cleanest and most comfortably furnished home we've encountered. The house is perfect for families, with a large, well-stocked kitchen that made meal prep a breeze, and spacious bedrooms that provided plenty of room for everyone to unwind. The first floor is expansive, offering ample space for family activities, and the large yard was a hit with our kids, especially the tetherball and the ping pong table in the basement. While the ocean views from the second-floor balcony are minimal, they are still enjoyable, especially when you can sit outside and listen to the waves. The location of the home is ideal—just a 10-minute walk or a few minutes' drive to Tom Nevers Beach, a quick drive to Sconset, and only 20 minutes to town. The privacy and space this location offers, combined with its proximity to some of the best spots on the island, make it a real gem. Additionally, the owner, Ed, was incredibly responsive and helpful. He got back to us quickly, was friendly, and very accommodating, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would absolutely hope to stay at Round the Bend again. It's a perfect retreat for families looking to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of Nantucket. Highly recommended!

We will be bACK!!

My family and I had the most magical time at Around the Bend. We had never been to Nantucket before but we really enjoyed our stay! The house was lovely, very clean, and super spacious for 5 people. There was plenty of dish ware and everything you would need to cook. We loved the grill and even did a lobster boil one evening! We loved the Tom Nevers area and how quiet it was compared to downtown. The public beach access was about a 10 min walk from the house and we walked there many times at sunset and during the days. It was so serene and the quintessential Nantucket beach! The house had plenty of beach chairs and towels as well! For 5 people, we never felt on top of one another as the house is laid out perfectly. It was a very seamless stay with no issues and we would definitely stay here again! Around the bend truly felt like home to us and I would highly recommend booking this house! We really hope to be back soon!

I arrived to find a plumbing leak, not their fault, it happens. They responded immediately, repaired it as quickly as possible, and refunded one night before I asked. You learn about people when things go wrong, I learned these are good people. Highly recommend.

Perfect Nantucket cottage

Lovely spot, immaculate and welcoming spaces very congenial for a family. We stayed in October so weren’t in full summer family vacation mode but this would be a perfect landing spot for a family for a summer vacation as well. I’d recommend renting bikes to get around. Kitchen is well stocked for most part, bedroom layout really nice and breezes through all the windows lovely! Would come back any day. Thank you!

Fantastic house and property

There were 6 of us visiting for a family wedding. The property is about 10 minutes from town, very quiet with nice yard and decks. House has great layout for a group. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Awesome house!

Perfect house for 2adults and 3 teens. Plenty of space for everybody to be together or find your own space somewhere. Ample kitchen supplies. Beautifully appointed interior. Great location. Drove 2 minutes down road every morning before kids got up to park on bluff over looking ocean and dunes. It’s August and wife and I were only ones there each morning. Minimal to no people during day. Busy, more crowded beaches only short drive away if that’s your preference.

Amazing House

This house was perfect for our first trip to Nantucket. It instantly felt like home. There was so much space to spread out as a family from the TV room to the basement with the ping pong table. The upstairs balcony was perfect to catch the sunrise. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches. It was well stocked with towels and any kitchen utensil you would need. Perfect place to relax for the weekend. The only recommendation would be that you have a car to go back and forth to downtown and beaches. Cannot wait to go back!

Friends Getaway

We loved this home. It was charming, comfortable, and very cozy. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with a cup of tea or relaxing by the inside fireplace. The location was a short drive to Nantucket or Sconset. It was the perfect place to celebrate 52 years of friendship.

The best VRBO we've ever experienced (not hyperbole)

I don't mean to be hyperbolic, but this house is beyond any expectations for a rental. We walked in with the immediate feeling that we were home. The kitchen was marvelously stocked with tools, placemats, COTTON napkins (my favorite), soft kitchen towels, lovely wine glasses (not cheap ones), wine openers, soap, dishwasher soap, paper towel, and plenty of bowls, serving plates, and dishes full of personality (we particularly loved the daisy bowls for pasta), and, well the list goes on. Add to that half a dozen beach chairs, an umbrella, and more beach towels than you could possibly use (no need to bring one thing to this house). And on top of all of that were shelves and tabletops and walls filled with antiques, glass bottles, paintings that made us feel at home. The beds were VERY comfortable and, most important there was plenty of GREAT lighting for reading. Next to every sofa and bed were lights that allowed for night time book reading (so unusual these days to find this in homes). The owners always responded promptly to my many queries prior to our visit, and made us feel as though we were welcome guests. I really can't say enough about "Round the Bend" (I didn't mention the lovely front porch, walk to the beach, proximity to Scionset, and upper deck where we had a great view of the Super Moon). We all found quiet nooks to enjoy our vacation, and we are grateful for owners who clearly trust their guests. Our two weeks exceeded our expectations thanks to the Singers' hospitality and home. Thank you!!

Welcoming home away from home

Stayed at “Around the Bend” for the last week with my family (including a 7mo old), and another couple with their 6mo daughter. Cannot speak more highly of Ed or the house. Ed was very responsive to any/all questions including recs on the island, and the home was so welcoming. Everything from linens to beach towels/chairs/umbrellas were provided. While we loved exploring the island, our favorite part was probably sitting out on the porch early morning/night just sitting, talking, and hearing the ocean in the background. Home is perfect for two families and a friend or two, with ample space, indoors and outside, and wonderful location for neighborhood walks. We hope to stay again in the future!
