We had a great time at Darwin, about a 45 minute drive from the airport, hot tub was very relaxing at the end of a day of skiing, we would absolutely stay again

Great location and view. I didn’t know there was going to be a hot tub so it was a lovely surprise to open the door and see that right in the main living space. Very unique and fun! It’s a great place for a couple to get away for a weekend.

Clean, quiet, cozy place. Large windows looking out at trees around much of living area. Was perfect for two. Comfortable temperature. Lots of mirrors. Hot tub. Bring a reading light if you want to curl up with a book in the evening. Great location. 10 min. Walk to 'town' and restaurant/pubs. Short walk to Alyeska Easy to catch town shuttle- stops on Alyeska hwy a few feet from property. Met owner-awesome person. Would stay here again.

Great little hidden gem near the tram. Quiet and clean place. Girdwood was very relaxing with cool hikes and friendly folks. The hottub was a plus.

Work Trip

I decided to stay in Girdwood even though I had business in Anchorage during this work trip. The rental was easy to locate, communication with the manager was accessible, and it was in proximity of all the things I wanted for this business/leisure trip!

Walking in it was very musty smelling. We took our bags upstairs hoping that the fan that was already running would eventually air it out with some open windows. This is a solid spot. It was clean and comfortable. The hot tub in the middle of the room is super unique. The couch could stand to be replaced as it’s lost most of its cushion but everything else about the unit was great.

Nice Hot tub but musky

The house has a strong musky smell when entering, which is probably due to the hot tub that is in the living room. We did enjoy using the hot tub, nice temp and jets. The king size bed was very comfortable.

Great location and very functional for a ski weekend. Maintenance issues. And no response to request fix outdoor light. Lots of mirrors. No lights to read by.
