About Trisha Jacobson
Trisha Jacobson was born in the suburbs of Boston, moved to the rural parts of northwestern RI. She vacationed in and around the lakes and mountains of NH throughout her childhood, but she always had a special spot in her heart for the Mount Washington Valley. As a teenager, she knew that someday she would call it home. After a twenty plus year career as a pharmacist in clinical and academic settings, Trisha relocated to the Mount Washington Valley and has lived here full time for about twenty years. Four years ago, she rented the owners quarters of this beautiful Silver Lake property and knew that someday she would own it. Her dream was to run a retreat center, hosting guests for rest and rejuvenation, personal growth and professional writers and mastermind retreats. She spend the past four years in her apartment redecorating rooms, rearranging furniture and planning for the day she owned this Silver Lake gem. And her dream is finally coming true. Trisha is a certified success trainers and works with Jack Canfield, the Chicken Soup for the Soul guy, leading his assisting teams for live events. international audiences. Trish is the Director of the Ski and Snowboard School at King Pine Ski Area in East Madison and is happy to help you arrange your time on the slopes, connect you with a sleigh ride or a moonlight snowshoe tour or suggest alternative activities in the area. I am excited to share the property with all who feel drawn to visit, explore our wonderful town and enjoy the beautiful Mount Washington Valley. We are ready to begin hosting VRBO guests this summer and will also host small groups, retreats and even weddings beginning this spring. It is my hope that my guests grow to love this place as much as I do. I look forward to meeting you!

Charming, peaceful inn
We had a wonderful time at Silver Lake. Trisha was a delightful host and made us feel very welcome. The room we stayed in was bright and airy and the bed was firm and comfortable. At Trisha's recommendation, my husband decided not to go to North Conway to ski, but went to a much closer family mountain, King Pine, which he loved and looks forward to going back to. I had a lovely massage at Silver Lake Massage which is located at the inn and which was relaxing and therapeutic. The inn feels more like being in your own home than being in an inn or hotel. It's lacks some amenities like refrigerator and coffee makers in the rooms, and is in need of some aesthetic updates, but we had full access to the kitchen and common areas and made ourselves quite at home. We will certainly be back.
Peaceful slice of life
This charming farmhouse is the perfect place to meditate, relax, and unwind from "life." It would be easy to lose track of time here. The beds were VERY comfortable, the room quiet, and the hostess, Trisha, was welcoming and accommodating. I have stayed here many times, winter and summer, and will definitely be back again.
