Great vacation home

We had a great stay, place is stocked with everything you would need and is clean. Its a perfect location close to everything and the neighbors were super nice.

Great location and dock!

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The dock was great and the condo was so close to weir’s beach.

Fall Laconia visit

We had a nice visit at Bill’s place. It was very clean, easy to find, great location and great communication. Would definitely stay again!

Bill and Danielle were great hosts. They were quick to respond to my questions and their rental was very clean and cozy. My family of four came to Meredith for a family wedding. I enjoyed fishing from the docks. We were close to shopping and the restaurants. If we travel back to Meredith we will definitely stay here again.

Incredible stay especially if you’re in town for a concert

We wanted to stay near the Bank NH Pavilion (DMB concert). Perfect distance/logistics. The lake views are gorgeous, property was immaculate and clean. Stocked with everything you need especially if you like to cook. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful.

We had a great 4th of July weekend here. Cottage was as advertised. Bill and Danielle were responsive hosts. Would definitely stay here again. The shared deck was great for sitting and having a drink by the water. Easy access to downtown and nearby shops/stores.

Efficient 2 bedroom cottage up from lake with dock. Well-stocked but bathroom could use work and the entrance was up walk up a steep driveway/or steep set of stairs. Unit was adjacent to busy street, but convenient to Weirs and and attractions as well as food shopping. Was good for our lodging and boating needs.

We're sorry that our property didn't meet your expectations and we'll certainly take your feedback about the bathroom into consideration as we plan future updates and improvements. We do feel however that we went out of our way to accommodate you and meet your requests, even modifying our boat slip for you to be able to use it. Then you told us that the marina you were renting a boat from wouldn't allow our configuration, which is something we've never heard before. Our listing is very clear in that only one watercraft can be secured in the slip yet AFTER you booked our property you asked about securing two jetskis in the slip at once. You even mentioned that you had been vacationing nearby for "umteenth" years and had some familiarity with our property so we're not sure why the stair access to our deck, which we describe as an "elevated deck" in the listing was a surprise to you. Either way, we're disappointed that you weren't pleased with your stay. We stand by the reviews from our other guests who weren't as unreasonably demanding as you.

Cute and Great Location!

Cute cottage with everything you could need! The location was great - close to all the fun of Weirs Beach, a short boat ride to Meredith and of course the Naswa in Paugus Bay. Loved the vibe and the neighbors in the condos there were friendly and helpful. Great time had by all!

Perfect spot

Went with my Mother for a long weekend to visit my son at school. Beautiful spot and perfect for our needs. The deck was a great spot to have a cup of coffee and start the day. Weather didn’t cooperate like we wanted but it was a terrific trip nonetheless. Hosts were VERY responsive and helpful. Place was clean and well stocked for our weekend. Will definitely stay again !

Lakelife

The property is as advertised. We had a great time at the lake. The lounge chairs and dining tables at the dock were perfect to relax on the lake. Weirs beach, restaurants, mini golf etc… are a very short, less than 5 minute drive away. The only downside is there is no access to the laundry facilities and no dishwasher, but it was a very enjoyable stay.

Great Spot

We had an awesome stay at this property. It had everything we needed, comfortable beds, ac, internet and a nice deck that had a grill and griddle for summer meals,. The dock was a great place to have a cocktail and to watch the boats parading up and down the bay or jump off for a swim. Close to all the action on the lake. The property is in a small association and the people we met were super friendly and helpful. Host were easier to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again.

Cute condo on the water

This cute condo is small, but clean and well maintained. It has a large deck overlooking the water where we enjoyed grilling, watching boats go by, and fireworks. It was quiet during the week, and the neighbors were friendly. The condo has a boat dock and although it’s a rough area in the bay, the tie ups secured the boat well. The owners were very responsive, accommodating and flexible. Great place to stay, lots to do in the area. Highly recommended for small families and friends.

Great location and views of Paugus bay

We rented for the Labor day weekend and it was a great small space for 3 nights. The boating on the lake was nice but now realize Labor day might be too much for our smaller boat. Residents in the front condos were so nice coming out every time we came back to help us tie up in a very challenging boat slip. Location was perfect but need to run AC to drown out the motorcycles going by but may also have been heavy on this weekend. Rental had everything we needed included and also included soap, TP, sponges, towels, etc which is not always the case we have found. Bedding and furniture was very comfortable. Overall experience Excellent.

A Quiet Weekend at the Lake

We had an amazing time at the lake this Fall, and it was thanks in large part to Bill’s cabin. This was our first trip to the Lakes region with the newest member of our family. He had a great time because we were able to use the clean and comfortable cabin as a central place to return for naps and to refresh. It’s very convenient to Weirs Beach and the Lakeport neighborhood of Laconia (only a short drive to the rail trail), and it’s not far from Meredith. We made a couple of trips a little further out—apple picking in Alexandria and some shopping in Tilton. What great memories, and again, thanks to this fantastic and well-equipped cabin. I also want to say something about Bill—what a great guy. He responded immediately to an inquiry when we arrived at the cabin pretty late at night. He is the kind of VRBO property owner that makes me return to this platform. Thanks, Bill! One more point: we don’t own a boat, but this seems to be the perfect kind of rental property for boat owners. There is a dock for your boat on the lake, and it’s very easy to access.

Nice spot on the lake, friendly owners and neighbors.

I couldn't help but notice the 1 star....overly dramatic review. Let me start off by saying that Bill and Danielle are nice folks, easy to get a hold of and will answer any questions or concerns you have. I stayed with my wife and 7 year old son for a week. A friend and his son stayed across street and would hang with us during day(s). We all thought the neighbors were awesome, extremely helpful and friendly! In fact a couple of them helped us tie up our pontoon after we came in from cruising and swimming all day. This place has a nice deck where you can open the umbrellas, light the grill, throw on some tunes and crack a few frosties after a long day on the water. It's a 2 bedroom condo that accommodates 4 comfortably. It's well kept and has everything you will need for cooking/eating during your stay. Has ceiling fans and tv's in every room...as well as an AC in the livingroom. I am not one for long, drawn out reviews but felt the need to leave one as the 1 star review seems a little over the top and one sided. I would definitely recommend this property to a group of 4 who wants to rent a boat and just relax for the week. We will be back next season.

We enjoyed our stay here with our two small children. The listing was exactly what we expected based on the description and pictures. The location was excellent - we were able to fit in different activities in the morning and afternoon, with a stop at the condo for lunch/nap time. We even made it up to Franconia Notch for a hike one morning, and to weirs beach many times during our stay. Would stay here again!

Super cozy very very clean. Beyond comfortable. Everything you could ask for and more!!!!

Everything was perfect. Having your own dock for a boat was awesome. And the neighbors were so helpful. He's definitely a home away from home. Did not want to leave.. have stayed in the area dozens of times over the years. By far the best place ever.. thank you so much Bill. Can't wait to go there again.
