Best Block Stay Ever

We had our best Block stay ever. Our host, Norm, and property manager, Cindy, are truly amazing. The house, unlike others we have stayed in, has every creature comfort and necessity imaginable. It was as if we were in our own kitchen and bathrooms with everything Norm supplied. And the location is outstanding. The views are spectacular. Convenience to beach and town is perfect.We cannot thank Norm and Cindy enough for the best of everything during our stay.

Great spot for a family of 4!

This is a great house in a great location. The house had all of the amenities we needed including a short walk to a quiet beach just north of Scotch Beach. Cindy was very helpful and accommodating for the couple times we reached out to her. We would consider renting again.

Great Views All Around

Very nice 3 floor home with lots of wraparound decks providing many options for relaxing outside. The views and surrounding area are fabulous - idyllic. A great location - 5 minute walk to a gorgeous, sandy beach. Surprised by how clear and warm the water was in September. Very clean, comfortable accommodations for 4 senior adult friends vacationing together for the first time. Our only complaint was the lack of basic supplies. Especially the fact that after a long trip we arrive at a 2 bathroom home with not one piece of toilet paper. Also lacking - dish liquid, dishwater soap, garbage bags, a sponge, or anything to keep the place clean. It has been my experience that these minimal supplies are usually provided in order to encourage guests to keep the place clean. We left TP in both bathrooms for the next guests. I encourage the owner to do the same.

Block Island sunny home

Sunny, so many lovely places to sit with a book enjoying the ocean air, and definitely a bookworm's delight. We always bring books but felt a bit like we were bringing coals to Newcastle with the extensive collection of books we found at the rental. A brief glitch upon check-in, promptly addressed and resolved; otherwise a relaxing stay. We were blessed with good weather, and enjoyed the calmness of the early early visitors' season. This house is a gem!

Clean, spacious, well divided condo with great views and just short walk to the beach

Photos are accurate. Property is clean and well maintained with quality furnishings and linens. Views over farm to Great Salt Pond are captivating with opportunities to see wildlife. Owner and property manager were attentive. We had a small communication glitch, which was resolved. Wifi was not currently available and was disclosed. Short walk to lovely, quiet section of beach. Short drive to town. There are other condos nearby, but did not pose a noise or privacy issue at the time we were there. Great for 2 couples with bedrooms each with private bath on floors 1 and 3.

Great Crescent Beach stay

This property was a perfect location and very convenient to walk to the beach. Beautiful outdoor decks with fantastic views of Salt Pond. Norman and Cindy were very helpful with any questions and the process.

What a view!

We stayed at the property for 6 days through Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, there was a bad storm that weekend so we did not get to do much for the duration of our stay. Over the 6 days, we were able to view 2 sunsets from the deck that were amazing! One morning we were able to see deer in the field. Had the weather been better, we would have enjoyed time on the decks. Great location for us and very peaceful and quiet. Norman was a pleasure to deal with from booking all the way to checking in on us during our stay. Cindy, the property manager was also very attentive and helpful. Lovely property and would stay again. Warmly, Kelly & Chuck Kern

Hope to make it back to the beach house!

The house was nicer than described and outfitted for life (cleaning supplies, salt, etc). The location is amazing. Check-in and out could not have been any easier. The owner is AMAZING about communication and so hospitable. We wish we were still there.

Beautiful condo with stellar views

This is a magical property with stunning views of block island pastures and ponds on one side and ocean on the other. The three floor layout makes it nice for privacy and spaciousness. Quiet and peaceful area and only 1 mile from town center. We rented bikes and didn’t need a car. Home owner, Norm and Property manager, Cindy were welcoming and gracious with our stay.

Excellent Cottage

We totally loved this house! It had just been very well cleaned when we arrived. Immediately we were drawn to the amazing natural light in the second floor living room. Short walk on private path to the largest, flattest, sandiest beach on the island, great for a day in the sun if you're into that sort of thing. Norman was very helpful answering our questions leading up to our stay and the property manager on site was lovely. We would love to stay again, it was perfect for our yearly end of summer trip.

Stunning views of Great Salt Pond and Ocean

Kerry and I stayed at this beautiful home for first week of June 2019.  There are decks and porches on all three floors with views of Great Salt Pond, New Harbor, and the ocean beyond.  We have been coming to Block Island for many years and as much as we enjoy its many restaurants and activities, it was so enjoyable to come back 'home' and listen to the birds, watch the sail boats, and observe the deer at sunset in the fields of Mitchell Farm.  Inside the home was more than accommodating with two bedrooms and two baths and a kitchen fully stocked with anything you would need in a vacation home.  And the open space living and dining room with wrap around windows brought the outside back indoors.   Each morning we would take the beach chairs across the lawn, through a small pathway, and sit on the very private 3 mile Crescent Beach to listen to the surf and watch the ferries pass to and from Galilee in Point Judith.   Norm was great to deal with and was available immediately when we had a question.  We have rented many places with VRBO in the states and Europe and would love to take this home and its views and most comfortable amenities to any site we intend to visit in the future.   Mike and Kerry
