Our beautiful ground floor condo in the popular Kihei Akahi is privately owned and we are proud to call it our second home. We have provided all necessary amenities to make the kitchen and unit fully functional.

This ground floor condo opens up to a lanai with a garden view of plumeria trees, hibiscus and palms – the perfect extension of the living room. The security lanai door enables easy access directly across the lawn to south Kihei’s beaches, to the two pools, pool-side BBQs, and the tennis court. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and afternoon trade winds keep the condo cool.

The condo provides Hawaiian furnishings, décor featuring local artists, an in-unit full sized washer/dryer, one reserved parking space, a security safe, stereo, and beach gear (chairs, towels, boogie board, water straws, cooler). Other amenities include free telephone calls to the U.S. and Canada, high-speed Wi-Fi internet access, and a LCD flat screen Smart TV with cable. Recycling bins are located next to the tennis court.

Location – Kihei Akahi is located directly across the street from Kamaole Beach II, a great white sand beach great for swimming, snorkeling (around the two rocky points at the north and south ends of the beach), and for watching sunsets. Many fantastic restaurants, shops, and grocery stores are within close walking distance from the condo, and several open-air restaurants are directly adjacent to the property.

Kihei Akahi had everything we were looking for – close proximity to beautiful beaches and convenience to stores and restaurants. We also appreciate the attention to detail regarding landscaping and maintenance. We thought that our guests would appreciate this as well!

Our unit is upgraded, tropically decorated and well-maintained. Our ground floor unit makes access to the pools and beach very convenient.

The new shower, washer & dryer are wonderful. Unit was clean. Easy access to the ocean, beach, and shopping. Lower level unit is great, small lanai but worth the beautiful grass area. A real delight. Returning again.

Ideal location

Great stay! Karissa & Tom were always so quick to respond and pleasant to speak to. The condo was in the perfect spot, never getting too hot with the breeze coming through. The 90 second trip to the beach didn't hurt and with so many shops, restaurants and stores around you don't really need a car if you don't want it. We just loved sitting on the lanai with a cocktail after a hard day at the beach (but chairs could use some new cushions). It was just the most relaxing and tranquil trip. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Will definitely return!

Great place in great location!

The condo was spotless upon arriving. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need. It was very clean and we didn’t see one bug inside which was amazing considering it can be an issue in Hawaii. The linens were plush, the bed was very comfortable. Seemed like the condo had been recently updated and it showed.

The condo is across the street from Kam II which is a great low-key beach. The condo has all you need for the beach including chairs, mats, cooler and boogie boards. The beach is perfect for stand up paddle boarding in the morning when the water is calm. Waves pick up in the afternoon for boogie boarding.

I really liked being on the ground floor as well. No view but you are never in your condo very long anyway. It was nice to be able to enter and exit from the lanai because is saved time of having to walk all the way around the building to get to your car or the pool. Plus, it was nice to have the lanai that opened to the lawn. The grounds at the condo were immaculate and beautiful as well.

I would highly recommend this condo and would definitely stay there again!

Perfect location in paradise

We stayed in this unit for 5 nights in Maui. The location was a short 2 minute walk to the beach front and small shops & restaurants. We used the pool right outside the back patio on the days we wanted to avoid the sand. Designated parking was available within the complex. The condo was extremely clean and had the vacation vibes we were hoping for. It had everything we needed as far as kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, laundry, and beach supplies - We felt right at home! Thank you for making our first vacation to Hawaii an easy and memorable one! :)

Perfect and what we needed.

I’ve stayed another units that were nice as well but I enjoyed this one quite a bit because it was on the bottom floor walk right out back on the lanai lock the door and head to the beach. I didn’t have to worry about pain in the butt front door going up and down the elevators none of that was fantastic. Very clean great feel nice that every single channel worked YouTube and Spotify it was all wonderful.

Kihei Roomy 1 bedroom, Convenient Area, Great Beach Access

We enjoyed our stay in this true 1 bedroom with all the amenities. Kamaole Beach 2 (there are 3) just across the road. Apartment has extras including sturdy beach chairs.

Ground floor patio outside the living room. Very pleasant grounds at this VRBO. Check in easy and office folks helpful. Highly recommend and good price. Kihei area is centrally located to the sights and beaches. Very enjoyable stay at this apartment.

This is our second year in a row staying in this unit c217 at the Kihei Akahi, our 5th year at this complex. This is a neat, well kept, well stocked unit. Ground floor lanai access is a bonus. The complex has great staff & is very well looked after. Great location, within walking distance to beaches, shopping & dining. We will be back!
