NUEVA LISTA ☼ Unique Oceanfront Home

Vista panorámica al mar y a la isla con salida directa del sol. Reservas naturales y senderos de al lado y cerca. Lejos del tráfico turístico pero conveniente para restaurantes, club náutico, compras, etc.

La casa fue construida en 2005. Inmaculada con muebles nuevos. Casa única con 36 ventanas en todo, capitalizando la vista desde casi todas las habitaciones.

El segundo piso tiene dormitorio principal y baño en suite con bañera y sala de estar en la planta superior. Vistas increibles. Queen Sleeper en la habitación de abajo con medio baño. Tercera cama individual sofá convertible área de dormir. Patio frente al mar con parrilla de gas conectado al tanque de propano de la casa.

El hogar recibe agua de la Bahía de Sebago de Portland, que es excelente durante el clima cálido. Refrigerador de agua refrigerado y agua suministrada. Durante los meses de invierno / frío, la casa recibe agua de pozo. Es salado y bastante bueno para bañarse. Demasiado salado para beber pero completamente seguro. El fregadero tiene un filtro desalinizador.

Peaks Island es una de las docenas de islas situadas en Casco Bay y el Océano Atlántico. Es el más accesible a Portland y el único que se sirve con Car Ferry. Creemos que es uno de los más bellos y definitivamente el más habitable y conveniente para Portland. Los ferries salen desde Portland cada hora aproximadamente desde las 6 a. metro. casi a medianoche. Hay transbordadores de automóviles por hora los 7 días de la semana. Para llegar a la casa, tome el ferry con su vehículo o sin él. Hay un servicio de taxi muy confiable por 3 dólares por persona a la casa que cumple con cada ferry. Tendrá un recorrido panorámico de 2 millas hasta la propiedad alrededor de Seashore Drive. A algunos les gusta alquilar un carrito de golf cerca del muelle del ferry. Alquiler de bicicletas están disponibles cerca del muelle. Hay dos para su uso en la casa también.

The location of this property is absolutely stunning. The ocean views are amazing, we saw multiple eagles, and Peaks Island is so peaceful. It was great that I could bring my dog, and check in was very easy.

Beautiful Maine getaway!

Really enjoyed the property and it is located beautifully along the rocky shore of the bay. Our first day was at the end of a big heat wave and the house only has one small A/C unit that we couldn’t figure out how to make work. Fortunately, the house cooled off quickly that night and we enjoyed leaving the windows open for the rest of the stay. Master bed is positioned perfectly to enjoy listening to the ocean and morning sunrises. The ferry to and from the island takes time (sometimes you have to arrive an hour or so early), patience, and money to navigate. Transporting a vehicle costs 150 per round trip. We would’ve like to have known more of these details in advance. Otherwise, the house was great, the location was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the trip. We were visited multiple times by wild turkeys roaming the yard.

Amazing House, with Amazing Views!

We loved our stay at Ocean Spray Rd, this house is beautiful and cosy, ( we stayed in late Autumn ) is is so well stocked, with every possible need met. From a fantastic range of hair care and skincare products, if I’d forgotten my own, to plentiful filtered water for our use. I just can’t find enough words to explain how perfect it is here, an absolute idyll, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city, ( we started our journey in NYC, after travelling out from the UK ) We didn’t leave the island during our 4 night stay, with the views and the house being quite enough for our needs. Book with Nikki for a wonderful vacation experience. Easy to access the property, and great communication should you need any help.

Loved the house & views were more than exceptional!! My husband & I decided not to tour outside the island because of those magnificent views. The house is well appointed with everything we needed. Definitely will be returning.

Stunning

Such a stunning setting. Beautiful home right at the ocean. This home is truly a bright spot on the island of Peaks. We lounged in the sun on the back lawn looking out across a beautiful ocean. The interior is fresh and the huge windows proved over and over again to draw to the ocean. Maximum Refreshing Experience.

SPECTACULAR VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW!!!

This is a very attractive, well-furnished, clean, comfortable house. But what it's really all about is the view! And what a view! The house has been expertly designed with huge windows to take full advantage of the expanse of sky and rocks and water just feet away. Many of the windows, on all sides, are casement (i.e., crank-out), which allows you take full advantage of the heavenly breezes and the soothing sound of the waves hitting the rocks. Even the shower has a world-class, full-horizon view, with a crank-out window. As a matter of fact, this is the most spectacular shower, with the most spectacular view, I have ever seen. A true stunner! If you are looking for a place to unwind, to commune with an incomparable Maine seascape, to sit quietly while contemplating sunlight on water and the sound of water hitting rocks, this is the place for you. It may just heal your soul.

Gorgeous views

As many reviewers have said, this house has gorgeous views of the water - and a lovely patio outside to relax near the water. You have to go through the master bedroom to get to the full bathroom-which worked ok for us since there is a half bath downstairs. Just FYI - the bedroom downstairs is off the living room, and has sliding doors to the outside. We enjoyed the house and the island. There can be long waits for the car ferry to get on and off the island (3-hour wait on Monday morning)

Beautiful Sunrise

The house was clean and well maintained. You cannot find a better view, located right on the water with stunning views, especially sunrises if you wake up early. We were traveling with two young kids and found the sleeping arrangements somewhat difficult for their ages (1&4). The second bedroom is off the living space with noise easily traveling. This made it difficult to spend much time in the living room after we put her to bed. We managed best parents can and would still return to this house.

We live and work most of the time in Atlanta, Georgia. The home has a great local caretaker readily available who lives on the Island.

The most unique and beautiful oceanfront home we ever found. We bought it immediately. We have traveled extensively and search for an oceanfront home for more than 25 years.

Unbelievable oceanfront location. Unique sunrises and sunsets everyday.

The house has hard wood floors except the kitchen and bathrooms. The kitchen has a new venting microwave, dishwasher, water filter system and cooler.

The house is furnished with new furniture from West Elm and a local hand crafted Maine manufactured company.

Master bed is a new king, electric and faces the ocean. One pull out bed is a queen another a convertible couch. Dining room table and chairs are new and gorgeous. Everything is new. You can see the living room furniture a little bit one picture. You will find this is one of the nicest furnished rental homes on the island.
