🐬Blue dolphin beach front cottage 5⭐️Home with large private pool - one of a kind

The house is the only ocean front house that sits on a double lot on the non-driving section of the beach. Built in 1936 the house embraces the history of Saint Augustine and old Florida Charm. The house is constructed of local cypress wood and contains the original floors. The house has a TV in every one of its 4 bedrooms (cable and wifi), a gas grill, fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), washer and dryer, a large pool and plenty of parking. The kitchen is fully stocked. House has linens and towels as well.

Memorable Family Trip with many things to do
We had a wonderful time at The Blue Dolphin. Brad is very responsive. The house is PERFECTLY located on the beach AND in walking distance to many fun shops. Everyone in our group were different age ranges and there was something for everyone. The pool is huge, clean, and relaxing. We were able to walk to the donut shop whuch had great bagels as well, ice cream store, the Wednesday farmers market, and the gift shop. Brad's home on Anastasia Island had so much to offer inside and out.

Perfect FL cottage on the beach. Beautiful sunrises & the beach is quite entertaining but definitely family oriented. Blue Dolphin was a treasure. So glad we found it. Hoping to return again.

Great Family Beach Stay
Our family came from Michigan to St Augustine to get some warmth. Brads beach home did not disappoint! It was spacious enough for myself, husband and 3 little kids as well as my mom and brother who joined us. Not having to pack up beach toys, coolers, etc in the car was amazing it was just a few short steps to the beach. Brad was an outstanding host and we would certainly come back. Thank you, Brad!

Cozy home by the ocean
The home is quite spacious, but it has a lovely cozy vibe. Lots of items for the beach and pool that we’ve always lugged on vacation, are provided by the owner (beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, pool toys, beach towels). This is the first time we were able to take our dogs on vacation with us, and we all loved the memories we were able to make. We definitely will rent again!

The perfect family beach vacation
This beach house was perfect in so many ways for our family. The home was spacious and had everything we needed. We enjoyed walking right out onto the beach and then returning to jump in the pool. In the evenings we walked to dinner and ice cream. We will definitely return !!!!!

Very Good but Not Great
Brad was great to work with. Over all cleaning could use a little work. Lots of dog hair. Master bedroom is great but it is the only room that has an ocean view. Kids loved the pool and the beach area was also very nice.Everything turned out very good just disappointed that the only view of the ocean was from the master.

Lovely reunion along the beachfront
With super helpful and communicative hosts, plenty of amenities to ease the stay and a spectacular beachfront location with spacious pool and wrap around deck, we soaked up all the sun, fun and adventures St Augustine had to offer. With a rustic charm on a private road, we thoroughly enjoyed playing in the pool, hanging on the deck and exploring the beach/ ocean right out our front door. It didn’t disappoint and made our reunion more splendid. Highly recommend this location, host and niche along the northern Atlantic of FL. A hidden gem with its close proximity to the historic downtown as well.

We were able to book this beautiful house at the last minute for my son's 16th birthday. The boys had a great time at the beach surfing most of the day then hanging out in the pool! This property had all the boxes checked for us. Plus the host Brad is Awesome and super helpful! We will be staying again!!

Perfect getaway
This house was exactly as advertised...warm, cozy, and hearing the constant, crashing waves of the ocean at night while lying in bed, after a long exhausting day of lying on the beach with toes in the wonderful, warm sand, was the perfect end to each day. The beach and ocean is literally just over the sand dunes right behind the back yard - a stone's throw away. The totally unobstructed view of the ocean from the second floor balcony off the master bedroom is a million dollar view! It is best enjoyed with a cup of coffee each morning watching the sun rise over the ocean! The swimming pool is kept very clean and although the water was still a little chilly for February, I swam every inch of it and thought about how warm and lovely this water would be in another couple months!!! Located close to anything you want to do in Saint Augustine, this home is the perfect getaway!

I purchased the house 20 years ago, with hopes that someday I will retire in Saint Augustine (my favorites city in the country). My family tries to spend as much time at Blue dolphin as we can, when the house is not rented. I enjoy relaxing at the beach, eating at Beach Comber or Salt Life (both walking distance along the beach) and riding my bike along the beach to explore. And I should not forget boogie boarding (there are always great waves).
