RENTERS BEWARE!! UNIT NEEDS MAJOR WORK & I will NEVER use Laura again!!
I rented this unit for July 22-29, 2017 through Laura's. I was notified around noon on July 22 that the unit was ready. We arrived at the unit later than expected and found 5 dehumidifiers running in the hallway, front bedroom, and front bathroom. I left the dehumidifiers running all night although they were extremely LOUD! I called Laura's the next morning and explained that the dehumidifiers were so loud we couldn't even watch TV and so large we couldn't use the front bathroom. I was told that they "should be out in a couple of days." The employee I was speaking to at Laura's told me it would be fine to unplug them while we were in the unit and to plug them up when we left and I agreed. They did not offer to move us to a different unit or offer any compensation until I finally asked myself. They said they would have to get back with me on that. On Monday, July 24, I received a call from Laura's telling me the owners would refund me "x amount of $" (< 2 nights worth), in addition to the refundable deposit. I thought this offer was premature given the dehumidifiers were still in the unit. It turns out the dehumidifiers stayed in our unit until Friday July 28, the day before our departure, with the water damage pro's visiting our unit everyday to check them. These dehumidifiers stayed running in the front bedroom and front bathroom 6 nights out of the 7 we were there. We rented a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom condo for 7 nights and received a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom condo for 6 of those nights. I didn't (& still don't) believe that the amount was adequate compensation and let Laura's know this via email after I returned home. They replied stating it was OUR fault that the dehumidifiers were in the unit all week and accused us of unplugging them and possibly causing further damage to the unit! They TOLD US we could unplug them if they were affecting our stay! I explained they all stayed running except for the bedroom while trying to sleep (exception of first night, they ran then too). On top of this, the unit is in need of a major re-haul. Paint peeling off walls. Carpet is dingy & stained. Vacuum didn't work. Mattresses need to be replaced. Stuffing of futon mattress actually falling out! Dirty mug in kitchen cabinet. Cabinets need replacing. Baseboard torn off: water damage. Wet bar inside cabinet torn out: water damage. No parking pass in unit as described. As of 9/11/17 refundable deposit received--no compensation whatsoever! Not surprised!

Great view and location. Kitchen furnished well. Couple other things
We booked a last minute holiday trip. Overall the accommodations were acceptable. However the king bed needs to be replaced and blankets, coverlets, etc., need to be cleaned.
We had an amazing vacation. Loved 304e at wind drift, biggest condo we have stayed in. We we're totally impressed with Laura's vacation rentals! Top notch service! We will definitely use them again.
