A great stay. A great house.

We enjoyed the property a great deal. Myself and my friends enjoyed the open floor plan, the pool, and how the owners had the house set up. The owners were very responsive and a great help if ever needed.

Golden Gate Gold!

This stay was 5+ stars! Fabulous in everything- roomy, home like, fantastic kitchen, bathrooms, beds, pool, patio, yard- I can’t say enough- this is a 10star home for 10+ family- room for everyone even our dog! One of the best vacations we’ve had❤️and our hist Chris Harvey was the best-attentive to all our needs!!

Great family house

Great house for kids and dogs. The house was spacious and well appointed. Lots of thoughtful extras. Plenty of open space to play in the yard. The heated pool was perfect. Nice and safe area.. Owner was very responsive and check in/check out was a breeze. We will be back.

The perfect house

It is a beautiful house where you can breathe peace, super large with a nice kitchen with everything you need, the pool with a perfect social area to share with bbq, furniture, dining room, the friendly host and always available for anything you need, without I would definitely return many more times

It was the perfect place for my family of 8. We had enough space and bathrooms were amazing! They made it super easy to check in and very detailed notes about everything involved with the house. If we make it back to Naples, we'll definitely try to get this house again!

Excellent home away from home

Our family of 6 and a dog stayed here for 5 days during virtual school. This house was perfect. There was space for everyone to work and be in school. Even the dog was able to run. After school, the kids enjoyed the pool and the yard. The beds were very comfortable as well. The owners were kind and very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice property

Great house. A little disappointed that the pool wasn’t usable. Good amenities in bedrooms and kitchen. Loved the privacy. Bedroom layouts not exactly as advertised. Would recommend to friends and family.

Great stay

We had a great time here, and Chris was very communicative throughout our trip. The pool was well-used by the kids in our group, and the water was nice and warm. All in all, we really have no complaints. Although it was a little farther way from the beach than maybe we would've liked, we definitely liked more of a remote setting/location during this crazy covid time. Thanks, Chris!

Perfect

My wife and I totally enjoyed our stay. Chris and Denise were awesome hosts. Everything was exactly as described and the yard was a perfect place for our dog Mickey to pass the day treeing squirrels or chasing bunnies. Can not say enough good things about our time spent or dealing with Chris. Already looking forward to next year.

Great house and location.

We stayed here with another family for the week. Location was great. Outside of the busy city but close enough to everything. Kitchen is really nice with upgraded appliances. Family room has a big comfy couch that fit all of us. Outside patio was screened in and we enjoyed many nights sitting out there. This house is perfect for families. Chris was great! Any issues and he was quick to resolve.

Great place for a large group

This is a great place for a large group. We had our family down for pre-Christmas. 5 large bedrooms and a huge gourmet kitchen. 2 ovens, extra freezer and gigantic island to gather around cooking. It has a nice screened in porch with a pool, table and chairs and extra seating. Added bonus was having the house decorated for Christmas. Chris was a very good host. We got our checkin details with codes without any problems. He checked on us to make sure we got in. Very nice place.

Great family house

Really spacious house with 5 bedrooms was perfect for our family for the week. The kitchen is great and has most everything you need (although it does have some newer high tech appliances that we couldn’t figure out or weren’t allowed to use) but overall the kitchen was great to make our breakfast and dinners in. Another nice feature was that every bedroom had televisions with DirecTV. It was also great having a screened porch with swimming pool and a washer and drier to wash our kids clothes in after tennis academy each day. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a spacious family-style home in Naples!

Naples house for family to allow great grandmother to visit with babies

Lovely home and quiet neighborhood. Dissatisfied with beautiful touch pad stove because we could not get burners to stay on in order to cook. Also inquired prior to stay regarding whether or not there was a grill on property and was told there was. However when we opened it, it was completely full of rust and not usable. Luckily I had prepared much of the food we needed at home so we were able to use the microwave to reheat,

Family Restful Get Away

The pics just don’t show off how spacious and well laid out the home is. There are bedrooms and bathrooms on both sides of this home. This was perfect for us with having an 6 month old Grandbaby . Everyone slept well. Beds are large and comfortable. Also- the property is well fenced with huge backyard, side yards and front yard for the whole family and our mini Aussie to enjoy. The property feels peaceful and private. The pool is beautiful with plenty of outdoor seating in the shade . We enjoyed eating dinner outside in the shade together. Inside, we loved using the large beautiful island to lay out our large family meals together with plenty of seating as well . Plenty of fridge and freezer space. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The host Chris was very helpful and patient with all questions and checking in was easy . We all had a LOVELY time and would certainly stay here again if are in Naples again. We enjoyed hitting the beach and other tourist destinations were not far away. The house even has beach/pool towels! All of us give the Golden Gate House a 10!

Wonderful home!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It's modern and large but still feels cozy and comfortable. There was only three in our group but it easily accommodates larger groups. We didn't use the kitchen but, if you're looking to cook, this is perfect. The bedrooms are really large and the beds are very comfortable. We didn't use the pool either but it's obviously really nice to have and well kept. The home was really clean. If you are not familiar with the area, definitely be aware it's not that close to the beach or the popular parts of Naples - it's about a half hour drive. This was not an issue for us though. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the instructions provided. I found this to be somewhat disorganized and hard to follow as there is a binder but pages are ripped, stained, etc. Renters also get instructions via email but then there are post-it's in the binder, on the fridge, etc. The WiFi information is not in the binder which is where I was looking. Overall, we loved this home and are already talking about going back!

Not private

This was listed as private and secluded. This was not the case. Upon arrival we let the dogs out in the “double fenced in yard”. Which was open. Frustrating as my dogs could have gotten out. Additionally, when we found the unlocked fence we found an RV on the property that was OCCUPIED! After contacting the person we were notified it was the owners! This along with the oscillating camera on the back patio put three of my guests with PTSD on edge leading to one of my guests having a psychotic episode. I contacted VRBO the first morning of arrival and explained the concerns. I was notified that our concerns with lack of privacy would be reviewed and I would be contacted. To date I have not heard back. Further one of my guests crashed her vehicle into a tree on the Vrbo property. The owner asked us to vacate the property immediately. I purchased insurance so all was covered. Additionally we were asked to leave after 1 night and did not receive any refund on our paid trip. I have contacted Vrbo before the incident explaining concerns with privacy and then again after the incident with no response. I was constantly given the run around and was told they would reach me via email. To date again I have received no call, email, or communication regarding concerns that were brought up. Both Vrbo and this listing owner were false in their advertising. Definitely not private and do not care about rectifying any issues. Also the house was dirty, dusty, and dirty dishes!
