Condominio con vista al mar de 1 habitación- Pono Kai Resort

Nuestro condominio tiene una cocina totalmente equipada, 1 dormitorio y 1 baño completo. El dormitorio tiene una cama queen size. También hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Son unidades muy espaciosas. Las unidades están completamente equipadas con ropa de cama, toallas y todos los servicios y electrodomésticos de cocina.

El baño está equipado con jabón de arranque, champú y acondicionador, junto con un secador de pelo. Hay una plancha y tabla de planchar dentro de la unidad también.

El complejo está situado en la histórica ciudad de Kapaa, Kauai. Puede ver la salida del sol por la mañana sobre el océano Pacífico o incluso ver ballenas durante la temporada de migración. El complejo se encuentra a poca distancia de restaurantes, boutiques, tiendas y supermercados.


El Pono Kai Resort tiene muchos servicios en el lugar. Tenis, baloncesto, sala de ejercicios, shuffle board, herraduras, mini golf, cancha de croquet, juegos de mesa, solo por nombrar algunos. Puede alquilar bicicletas al lado y estamos ubicados a 5 minutos de todas las actividades acuáticas; Piragüismo, kayak, surf, etc ...

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Pono Kai. It was nice having a full kitchen and we cooked breakfast every day and dinners a few times to save some money for our other adventures. The traffic in Kapa’a town is a little crazy but that’s not their fault. It’s nice being, halfway in between the north and the south so when you choose, which way you wanna go you’re already halfway there.

Nice unit in a great location!

Pono Kai is in a great location - right along the beach, and easy walking distance to nearby restaurants. It's in an ideal spot on the island as well - less than 90 minutes to pretty much anywhere. The property and the unit I was in were both well-maintained - I've already recommended this spot to others and would definitely stay there again!

Lovely peaceful time

The Pono Kai never disappoints. If you want a peaceful calm vacation this is for you. The chickens are everywhere all over Kauai so if you don’t like chickens pick a different island. Or just accept them as part of the charm.

Garden Isle Paradise

We experienced so much Aloha while staying at Pono Kai, Kaua’i! The accommodations were perfect with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and spacious lanai with a gorgeous view of the ocean to the east and mountains to the north! There were many authentic activities such as hula lessons, lei making, and chair massages that we enjoyed! The grounds are beautifully kept with tropical flowers and a koi pond. Be sure to stop by the concierge service to see “Cy”. He is most helpful with information on all of the best island activities and securing reservations! Best of all, it’s walking distance to downtown Kapaa and right on the bus route to most places on the island from Hanalei to Waimea. Mahalo!

Wonderful travel experience!

We arrived way earlier than check in time and were able to get into our unit. Nice to have a chance to get settled. Great location central to the whole island. Clean and comfortable unit. If ever we needed something ie. a kettle, they brought it right away. Lovely pool. Great selection of games to borrow for a quiet evening in. Walking distance to Old Kapa’a town. Lovely beach and 8 mile walkway. Would highly recommend.

Better than expected

Our stay was better than expected. We stayed in H304 and the unit was updated with new furniture, king size bed and bath as exceptionally clean. Bed was super comfortable but the hide-a-bed was springy as they usually are (totally fine for an 8 year old). Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed but only salt and pepper for spices/condiments. The pool was never over crowded and there were so many activities on site that we didn’t have time to do all of them. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and groceries; although it was nice to have a car to get to Safeway. Lots of availability to rent things such a boogie boards for the week $25, and umbrellas, chairs, coolers, etc. We had to check out by 10am but we still had access to the pool all day and they have a hospitality suite that you can shower in at the end of the day before you catch your evening flight. Definitely recommend this property.

Nice location but....

Pros: Great property location, nice ocean view from unit F105 ground floor, clean property, AC cooled down the living room nicely. Cons: Photos were from another unit but I think we got a little better view. Very uncomfortable couch cushions, broke down so much that your legs hit the metal bar. If you are a light sleeper probably not a good fit, you can hear every foot step above from the upstairs unit. The room had an awful musty smell but we got used to it lol. The AC didn’t cool down the bedroom but they had two fans that helped. Also they need better closing shutters in the bedroom as the lights come through and light up the room, there was no way of turning the lights off they automatically come on at night. Over all we would stay again but opt for a different unit in hopes that they had a better couch & shutters in the bedroom, it would be ok if you’re only staying a few days but we stayed a week and wanted something more comfortable.
