Take a break from everyday life and start your adventure at the Carlin Ward Cottage! Coastal West Indies decor accompanied by African accents throughout bring an unparalleled element of culture & style to this 3 story beach abode. The common areas on the 1st floor are welcoming with an open concept. The front door opens onto one of many beach boardwalk paths, offering easy access to the shops & restaurants of Rosemary Beach but most importantly the beach!

The upper levels of the Carlin Ward Cottage feature organic textures & artwork in each of the 3 bedrooms. The master suite & guest bedroom are both located on the 2nd level of the home. The master suite offers a king bed, plus a large private balcony! The guest bedroom is cozy with a small private balcony and en-suite bathroom. Following the spiral staircase up to the 3rd floor, you'll encounter an open loft with 2 twin beds, treetop views, & flat screen TV. A nice sized courtyard is located just off the 2 car parking pad complete with 2 patio lounge chairs, a gas grill, and 4 complimentary adult bikes.

Rosemary at it’s best

The house is in the middle of Rosemary but on a quiet street away from foot traffic. Very comfortable.

The property itself was just as shown. We really enjoyed the house. Unfortunately, the listing is not as accurate as it could be and or explained by the property manager. The listing clearly indicates gym access without disclosing a 25 per day fee. I would understand if I was not staying in a Rosemary house, but we were. If this was disclosed in the actual paperwork maybe that would be ok. The property manager acknowledged the listing was poorly worded but not willing to do anything to assist.

We find the beds comfortable, the outdoor shower helpful with sand control and little kids, and 30A Luxury Vacations quite helpful to work with. They made this vacation quite effortless and we are grateful.

Great fall visit to Rosemary Beach!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Carlin Ward Cottage. Our little dogs also had a great time. The house was so comfortable and the downstairs spacious for our little pups to play. The house was so cozy on the cool nights. It is so conivenient to the shops and restaurants of Rosemary Beach- less than 5 minute walk. We hardly used our car. We even walked to Alys Beach for a nice longer walk several times. The management company even called to be sure everything was fine. We enjoyed and stay and will definitely look to stay at Carlin Ward Cottage again. Thank you.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My wife, 2 elementary aged kids, and dog had a wonderful experience at Carlin Ward. It was the perfect size for us. We rent a different house every year in Rosemary for the past 10 years and this one definitely ranks towards the top. Loved the close proximity to "town", the bunkbeds for kids, the Sonos audio and TV, the outdoor shower, and the shaded rear deck for evening grill out. The house was super clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. As usual, the week went by too fast! We would gladly return to Carlin Ward.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Carlin Ward for a week with our two senior corgis and toddler. It had all the comforts of home and (obviously) so many additional perks with proximity to the beach and the center of everything going on in Rosemary. We had a wonderful, "slow" week away from the rushing and hustling of everyday life. Morning bike rides, walks around the neighborhood with the dogs, afternoon pool and beach days, and too many trips to the coffee shop. We didn't want to leave!

Perfect location

This was a perfect location walking and biking distance to everything. Would definitely recommend this location for your family vacation. Only thing we could have used was beach chairs and umbrella's otherwise the house was perfect.

Very Nice Neighborhood and Clean House

You can walk to restaurants and shopping and do not even need to use your car. This house does have a lot of steps so that was a little hard when you are older. The house was clean, and the bed was comfortable (we only used master bedroom). The Management Company is professional and always answered the phone if you ever need anything.

The beds were very comfy and the pillows as well. The location to the town center couldn’t be beat! The beach was a quick 6 minute walk down a boardwalk which was nice. The beach service that was a separate purchase was great as well. The main bedroom bathroom sinks were stopped up and slow draining but rental company offered to send someone right away to fix but it wasn’t bad enough to warrant that. I’m sure they resolved after our departure. We would rent this property again and you can’t beat the service and quick responses from 30A Luxery Rentals.

Beautiful place, great location!

I hosted a group of 8 girls for a friend’s bachelorette party at this location. We had a wonderful stay! The house was very clean and exactly as the listing depicted. The check-in process wasn’t the easiest I’ve ever done, but the host was extremely responsive both with calls and messaging. The best part was the location!!! We were a 2-3 minute walk from the main downtown area! Overall, we had a great stay!

Wonderful Home in Beautiful Rosemary Beach

Everything about this property and location was amazing. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to feel like home for a week. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and cookware for preparing meals, the beds were all comfortable (my 5 year old loved the beds tucked into the wall in the upstairs hallway), and the living area was spacious but also very cozy. The house has direct access to the boardwalk running through the neighborhood, and is on the Rosemary Beach fitness trail. Access to the beach, the pools, and the shops/restaurants was very easy and quick. The AC worked well (the 3rd floor was a little warm during the day but that's to be expected) despite temperatures reaching the mid 90's each day, and with almost no rain to cool things down. My only complaint was that there is no padding on the underside of the spiral stairs leading to the 3rd floor, which bit both my wife and I as we stood up from putting our son into his bed. I solved the problem by strapping a pillow to the stairs, but these really should have some padding on them. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house

The house was great. Checked out on Sunday, I wish I had known that you cannot access beach on after checking out . I had chairs and umbrellas rented for the entire day and didn’t have a way to access beach. Rental company and chair company should let out of town guests know that ahead of time.
