The perfect home for your family vacation!

Enjoy this beautiful beach home, just a few steps from the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island. 14 Bittern is located in the North Forest Beach neighborhood, 5th row from the ocean and just a short walk to Coligny Plaza’s shops, restaurants, and entertainment. Enjoy the front screened porch in the morning for coffee or evening for a glass of wine. The large back deck overlooks the 23 x 12' pool below. There is a propane grill and seating on the back deck for at least 8. Spend time relaxing in the sun on the large pool deck. Just off the pool deck, you can enjoy the air-conditioned game room with a ping pong table and seating.

As you enter the home you will walk into the spacious living room with a flat-screen TV, plenty of seating, and high vaulted ceilings. Off the left side of the living room is the master bedroom suite with a king bed and access to the front screen porch. The master has a private bath with large walk in shower. Across the living room there are 2 bedrooms. The 1st guest bedroom has a queen bed and access to the front porch. The 2nd guest bedroom also has a queen bed and access to the back deck. These two bedrooms each have private powder rooms but share a tub/shower. Upstairs, there are 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom between them. Each room has 2 twin beds.

Just off the living room is the kitchen and dining room. The kitchen and dining area have access to the back deck which makes it easy to grill your favorite foods. The galley style kitchen is fully equipped, and the dining area seats at least 8. Off the dining area are a full-size washer and dryer. There is covered and uncovered parking at the house as well, with plenty of space for up to 5 vehicles.

Great Location

Had a wonderful time staying at this house with my family. It has a great location close to both the beach and Coligny Plaza. We played lots of ping pong and enjoyed the pool every day.

Enjoyed our stay!

The house was as described and perfect for our family. Pool was cleaned twice during our stay and house was clean. Bedrooms were perfect for our family. Property is truly less than a minute from the beach and 2 minutes to Coligny Plaza. Only hesitation is the front steps are steep going down - the backyard steps have been redone and are better - especially when you’re carry stuff down for the beach. This was minor for us and we would have no hesitation staying here again.

A great getaway

Clean and close to everything. Very well managed property. Not for the five star luxury crowd, but for my family and my sisters’ with young kids, it was the perfect location at a good price with great service and amenities. We would choose this property again!

Location was perfect! House was clean, well stocked. Pool was nice, ping pong room was a big hit! We went with another family, 6 kids total from 11-17yrs old. Nice to be close to all the restaurants, beach was super close. Highly recommend and would stay again in this home!!

The location was closer to the beach than I imagined, just about 4 houses away. Also, just steps from the shops and restaurants at coligny center. Wonderful space!! Exceeded all expectations.

Awesome house! Relaxing to the Max. So close to beach and shopping center. All the right amenities. Very nice and well laid out kitchen. Pool was such a plus. Can't wait to stay here again next year. Afternoon Sun directly onto back of house made afternoon sunbathing so perfect.

PERFECT LOCATION and great space!

The location was perfect - super close to beach and shops/restaurants. The space was really great, with a great, spacious deck and super fun pool. I cannot say enough great things about this property! My only complaint is that a few of the beds are in pretty bad shape as in big dips in the mattress. We ended up leaving a day early as our lower backs were really hurting.

Awesome stay in HHI

The location of this property can't be beat. It's a few hundred feet to both the beach and Coligny plaza so the accessibility to everything you may need during a stay is amazing. The house itself was really nice, plenty of space for my wife and I, two kids, and a set of grandparents. The pool on property was cleaned twice during our visit and we had it heated which was well worth it. The rental staff was very attentive, helping us with questions that came up and even getting the internet up and running after an outage. I would 100% stay here again and would 100% recommend this property.

Best Place Ever

3 bedrooms downstairs for 6 adults and 2 bedroom upstairs - 8 and 6 yr old girls in one and 4 yr old boy in another. It worked great. Very large atrium/living room space. Nice deck off kitchen/dining room. Great pool downstairs and another shaded spot under deck by the pool. And, within short walk to the beach and Coligny Square shopping. We will be back - probably in 2 years. And what's not to like about Hilton Head? The bike paths are all over the island and mostly off the roads.

Great location to Coligny & Beach

Every year we rent a home near Coligny. This being the first that is so close and it was nice. The home itself had everything we needed. New appliances which were nice. The furnishings were good, it's a rental so nothing is perfect. Loved the screened in porch off master bedroom. The pool area is nice but sadly I didn't think we needed to pay for heating since it was end of Sept. Didn't realize it doesn't get much sun at all and the water was too cold. That will probably keep us from renting this home again since the pool is nice in the evenings for the kids to swim and burn off energy.

The outdoor area/decks and pool area were all dirty. Improved after cleaning on Wednesday. No internet for more than 1/2 the time. No TV. Floors dirty/made feet dirty. We thought it was a full week/really only 5 full days. Noisy and filled with people. Early morning lawn care was nosiy. Difficult to drive around. We like a more layed back atmosphere.

The layout of this house was perfect for our family of 10. Everyday, we enjoyed the front screened in porch for breakfast and in the evening when the kids were in bed. The pool was great however it was difficult to keep clean because of the trees. Also, there is no fencing in one area so we looked at the neighbor's trash cans. The game room was a mess. The air-conditioner didn't work and the TV was sitting on the floor. The dining room had only 7 chairs so 3 of us sat on coolers. I asked the management company for folding chairs but never received them. In the living room, the couch and throw pillows were very stained. There were holes in the arms of the rattan chairs and a torn cushion on one of other chairs. Despite these issues, our family enjoyed their Hilton Head vacation.

Fabulous location

Well-appointed home that is very close to the beach and Coligny shopping. Kids loved the ping pong table and the beach wagon was really helpful. Beds were comfortable and the screen porch was nice.

Great location

My family along with some friends stayed for about a week. I thought the location was perfect, food, shops, coffee, and groceries are all within a few hundred feet. And of course the beach is at the end of the block. The house was obviously in the process of being upgraded but in good condition. The only complaint we have is the tiny shower in the master bath. We really enjoyed the deck and screen porch as well. They even had an extra propane tank for the grill incase we ran out. We don't plan on vacationing to HH again but I feel like I got my money's worth with this rental.
