Haus on the Rapids est nichĂ© directement sur les rives de la riviĂšre Comal, entre les rapides et la derniĂšre sortie publique. Profitez du calme sur le pont ombragĂ©. Les escaliers qui descendent du pont vous permettront d’accĂ©der directement Ă  la riviĂšre. La propriĂ©tĂ© peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'Ă  14 personnes. Les boutiques, les restaurants et la vie nocturne du centre-ville se trouvent Ă  seulement 5 minutes Ă  pied. SituĂ© directement sur la riviĂšre Comal de Schlitterbahn. Gruene est Ă  10 minutes en voiture. 5 minutes en voiture de l'I-35.

Haus:
La chambre principale a un lit King size et une douche à l'italienne. Le maßtre a une vue magnifique sur le pont et la riviÚre Comal. Les 2 chambres de taille Queen partagent un combo salle de bain / baignoire. Une des chambres Queen a une vue sur le pont et la riviÚre. Il y a aussi une chambre supplémentaire de la Reine de la maison principale. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit Queen dans le salon qui peut accueillir 2 personnes supplémentaires. Il y a une chambre supplémentaire en bas qui dispose de 4 lits simples. L'énorme cuisine entiÚrement équipée avec des siÚges de bar a tout le luxe de la maison. Salon a une télévision grand écran ainsi que la meilleure vue sur la riviÚre.

Plate-forme:
Le pont ombragé a beaucoup de siÚges à l'extérieur pour profiter de votre café tÎt le matin ou des boissons l'aprÚs-midi tout en écoutant la riviÚre. Faites griller quelque chose sur les deux grilles extérieures situées sur le pont. En outre, le patio couvert a 2 tables de pique-nique à ajouter à la terrasse.

AccĂšs fluvial:
Profitez de votre accÚs privé à la riviÚre. L'accÚs par escalier mÚne directement à la riviÚre cristalline Comal.

Great property, location is excellent, but it's time to invest in new bedding/mattresses. At this price point, a comfortable bed should be provided. Also, kitchen pots/pans ned a big upgrade.Otherwise, a great experience

The location was great but the bathrooms were so outdated the shower head was like a sprinkle hard to get hair clean. I don’t think the bathroom has been improved since the 70’s. It was pretty bad. The deck, as well was big but it was dirty and could use a good power wash and cleaning. Spiderwebs and just dingy. Could be so much nicer.

Haus on the river

Nice place for girls weekend. Didn’t care much for the stairs inside the resident, but everything very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the deck around the fire pit just visiting. Thank you for your hospitality.

Amazing location on the river!

We had an amazing vacation with the family. Group of 13 including lots of little kids and everyone had a blast. Location of the home is unbeatable, river access was perfect. The outdoor setting was perfect. Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and the communication with host was great. Highly recommend!

Wonderful house right on the Comal River with direct access

This house is great. Sleeps 14 very comfortably. I will be honest was worried about 2 bathrooms for 14 people but was never an issue. Everyone is on their own time when on the Comal. We had 1 issue, I reached out to the owners who quickly replied. It was taken care of and everyone still enjoyed the night. The breezeway is great for sitting at a table to eat out of the sun when you are dripping wet from the river. The deck is amazing looking down on all that are floating by. I am looking forward to returning next year or if our party size changes will look at their other properties.

Quick trip

Came to town for the memorial service of a family member. This house was just perfect! We had three young ones and six adults. Plenty of room! We hosted time out on the deck around the fire pit one night and the next night had family over for dinner and played games. The weather did not cooperate for a tube float down the river so I guess we have to come back!!

Location-Location-Location!!

If you are looking for a central location, close to everything, in the heart of New Braunfels this is your place. This house is right on the Comal River with access from your own deck. Golf cart and tubes available upon request - delivered and picked up directly from the house. Spacious deck and hanging lights provide the perfect ambiance for night congregation with family and friends. Propane Fire pit perfect for s’mores. Convenience of refrigerator upstairs and downstairs. BBQ pit available for use. A/C blows cold to keep you cool on these HOT summer days. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Host was available and responded quickly throughout the booking process. Looking forward to visiting again.

Location is great but house is subpar

The communication with owner before check in was great. After we checked in we discovered The house had cobwebs along the ceiling. There is a separate bedroom with 2 twins and trundle beds that you access from an outside door. Although there is no bathroom out there so you’d have to enter the main house to use the restroom. There is also no curtain on the window making it difficult to change clothes. The window A/C unit was dripping causing an odor. The house had sticky berries from the trees covering the back porch and driveway. Our family did enjoy the direct access to the river. We spent a lot of time out there. The location is also close to town and restaurants, Muck and Fuss was very good.

Construction mess next door

Rating would be 5 stars except for the construction work going on all around starting from 7 am til 7 pm and spiders in the room outside the main haus. We had a pleasant stay convenient for floating on the Comal river

Active contruction area

The actual location of this place was really great. But the fact that the owners fail to mention that there are three houses being built and it was non stop construction noise our entire trip is unacceptable. We spent 5k for a relaxing Mother’s Day weekend and heard jackhammers at 8 am. When we called the owner they said not their issue they don’t own the house next door!! Instead of being honest and telling people it was an active construction site. They even worked through the weekend. The house itself is very dated and furniture is worn and very dirty. For the amount of money they charged for each night was ridiculous for its condition. There were spider webs and dust on fans and ceilings. The only highlight is the drop into the river situation. Would never never rent again. They did not make any concessions for our complaints. If they would have told us about the construction we would have never rented this place.

Great house on the comal river

Great house on the comal river! During the weekends, this is a popular place for people to stop and hang out, so a few times we had to shoot people off if we wanted to get into the water, but it was easy Peezy and no one was upset, Only downfall for this house is that there are only two bathrooms, and one bedroom is kind of separate from the rest of the house but loved everything else!
