Family Friendly Home with Mountain Views, Private Lanai, and Beach Accessories

Ainamalu located at the entrance of the Waikoloa Beach Resort road. A 20 minute drive from the Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keahole. Our home is a 3 bedrooms 2 bath (model Kalani). There is a fabulous view of the Mauna Kea mountain, which sometimes during winter displays a beautiful snow capped top.

Amazing House in Paradise

This home is just as described and shown in pictures. Absolutely beautiful views out the back lanai, and our favorite - the outdoor shower. Perfect place for a family to stay and enjoy all of the beautiful beaches on the west side of Hawaii.

Hard to Beat - Great Waikoloa Getaway

Great house and ideal location. Alan provides all you need for easy self check-in and check-out. We enjoyed golf at Mauna Lani and Mauna Kea and both are only a few minutes drive away. My wife and I walked about 5 miles each morning in the Waikoloa resort - great if you like to walk, jog, run or bike. Located in a friendly and quiet neighborhood. The house has a nice layout and most everything you need. The best part is that each morning I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee on the lanai and watch the sun come up over Mauna Kea....fabulous. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect stay!

We were able to stay at this perfect home during the busy Ironman week, and it was absolutely perfect for still having great accessibility to open roads, was centrally located to all the places we wanted to visit, and felt so peaceful to come back to each day. Great house. The layout worked very well for our family. Easy to find and the check-in process was a breeze. Several beaches within a 10min drive. For dinning out we had to drive a bit farther, but we were looking for specific Hawaiian cuisines. Really loved this house and it's views.

The house was very nice and clean. Master bath has great walk-in shower, tub, and outside shower. There is beach chairs, coolers, bogey boards, and water shoes provided in garage. Centrally located to great beaches, snorkeling, and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing Getaway in a PERFECT Location

Alan’s house is absolutely amazing and provided the perfect space for us to spread out and relax with our 9 year-old daughter and another couple. The master suite is so incredible and we loved the outdoor shower! Made coming home very very hard. Alan was wonderful and answered all our questions leading up to our stay. There are so many lovely touches in this house and the view is just amazing.

Great place for a family

Just spent two weeks on the Big Island at Alan's place. It was phenomenal. Sunrise in the backyard each morning was incredible. The place is big and is conveniently located. Truly recommend this place. Alan was a great host.

40th birthday Dream Come True

This year I turned 40yrs old . Big mile stone , well I always wanted to go Hawaii since I was a kid. Well this year I wanted to celebrate it with my husband , my mother and sister. Booking was easy and fast . The atmosphere was relax ,calm and peace. Exactly what we needed after so much struggle after covid. Awesome space for 4 people , all rooms were amazing. A very suitable house

The house fits well if you are a party of friends. The spacious kitchen offers everything you need. The utility room with washing machine/tumble drier is perfect and the garage directly adjacent to the house is great to access the house.

Absolutely loved it

Couldn’t have been happier! This home was perfect for my construction crew that was there for a two week project in Kamuela. It was spacious and clean - very well maintained. It had everything we needed including all the kitchen and bbq necessities for our stay. Booking and Check in was easy and although we didn’t need to contact the property manager, we had all available contact numbers just in case. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

Beach bum vacation

House was very well equipped with high end appliance and just about anything you needed to cook. Alan was great to work with and went above and beyond to get us a cradle when our 4 month old granddaughter joined us. Comfortable beds and outdoor furniture. Since the bedrooms are located at opposite sides of the house, we all had our privacy. The gas grill worked great. The house was very clean and there were spices, coffee creamer, coffee, and condiments. Great location for visiting the beaches North of the airport. Food shopping was a few minutes car ride away and the local fresh fish guy was right at the entrance on 19.

Wonderful Property

This house was a fantastic find. Quiet, spotless, comfortable, and very generously appointed, the hosts hit it out of the park with this rental. It felt much more like a welcoming home as opposed to a bland and generic vacation rental. It is located within a short drive to a selection of shops and restaurants. It is also a short trip to the beach and a number of parks. I appreciated and enjoyed this property very much and highly recommend. I hope to return sometime.

Alan is a great guy, very on top of things. Cleaning personnel should do a better job unless its not possible to keep up with demand or traffic from the post-pandemic rush. This used to be an amazing property when it was newer I'm sure.

Unique VRBO Location

Interesting area with great breezes in the evening and AC during the day. Stark cool views of the mountains; easy driving distance to some beautiful beaches and northern Island day trips. Star-gazing from the back patio is a bonus. Lava fields look like you are vacationing on Mars. Alan is very accessible if you need him. House is well stocked. We would like to come back some time.

This new home, in a brand new development borders everything you will want to be close to. The house is a dream come true. Absolutely lovely. It has everything you’ll need to make for a perfect vacation. Every large, and small detail taken care of. Kitchen fully stocked, even a little coffee tea set up. Bathrooms have hair products, soaps, hair dryer and curling iron, clothing iron... Master suite is huge. Furnishings are exceptional. Thank you Alan. Job well done!

We are a local family, born and raised on Oahu. We often visited the Big Island for gatherings with friends and family. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking and best of all is the weather.
After the many stays at hotels and vacation homes, we decided to purchased a home in Ainamalu Waikoloa.
We want to share our home with you so you can experience the Big Island.

Why they chose this property

The property lots are a favorable size of 15K sq ft. The houses are spaced apart for privacy. It is the perfect house with Central air, Large kitchen, Large patio, Large master bath with: Shower, Tub, and Outdoor Shower. During our furnishing phase we just totally enjoyed our stay. It was so comfortable and peaceful that you want to stay there forever. We welcome you the experience it yourselves.

What makes this property unique

Avoid the noisy condo and townhouse life. Ainamalu is located away from the hotels and condos, just at the entrance to Waikoloa Beach road. Privacy yes, and a bonus that a house in Ainamalu is close to amenities such as the beautiful Hapuna beach in Waikoloa. In addition, enjoy convenient shopping just 5-10 minutes away: Kings Shops, Queens Market Place, and Shops at the Mauna Lani. Stay at a beautiful new private house on a large property.
