Swimming, Fishing and Fun for all ages! This camp is perfect for relaxing or spending some time exploring the Coast of Maine. The large yard is great for laying in the sun, playing games or just reading your favorite books! How about a slip and slide for the kids, a lobster bake or fishing for brook trout. This camp can offer it all!
St George Lake has 14 species of fish, including salmon, trout, and bass, if fishing is your game. This lake is 1,017 acres and a maximum depth of 65 feet. This pristine lake Is having a Bass Fishing Tournament on July 20th! Try your hand at fishing or watch the excitement from the dock!
Liberty is a quaint town with some great places to enjoy! Minutes from the camp is the Lake St George Brewing, 51 Main Street Restaurant and Bar, Lori ’s Cafe, Liberty Brewing Company and The Lost Kitchen. If you want to stay home and cook, enjoy the grill or fire up the lobster pot and don’t forget the s’mores at the fire pit. 🌽🍉🍔🍻🥂
Want to wander a little farther away? Head to Belfast, 17 miles east on Rt 3. Great shopping, restaurants, farmers market, art walk and fishing. The Moose Point State Park Features panaromic views, hiking trails, tidal pools, and a picnic area! Make sure you stop at Reny’s, it’s a Maine Adventure, a shopping experience you won’t want to miss!
There is so much more to explore...Camden, Rockland or have you been to Camden Hills State for hiking Mt Battie or a scenic drive to the top? Rockland hosts the Lobster Festival on July 31 to August 4th! Can’t make it this year, book now for next year!
Planning to come in the Fall, the Common Ground Fair is fun for all, this year it is September 20-22, you can commute by train! Great food, beautiful crafts and so much more. Maine’s foliage is never disappointing! Explore Maine by day and come back to camp to sit by the wood stove for a relaxing evening!
