Nestled in Washington, this delightful cabin offers a cozy retreat for guests. Unwind in the peaceful surroundings and embrace the charm of this terrific cabin located at the end of a private lane. Kayak on the lake or walk along the lane to take in the magic of the colors of fall. Watch for and listen to the loons and other assorted birds that share this hideaway on Washington Pond. Please note this is a one-room cabin; toilet is a very clean porta-potty; there is no running water, but usable (town) water is provided in jugs and limited bottled drinking water is provided; there is no heat but a small box heater is available if temperatures warrant. There is a refrigerator, a one-unit burner, and miscellaneous small appliances. The queen bed is a Serta pillow-top and four pillows are provided along with extra blankets for your comfort.

This property was part of the family farm, which it abuts. The shore is accessed at the family camp’s sandy shore with swim platform, or can access at a private shore next door. Washington Pond is cited as one of the most pristine in Maine. The swimming is great!
