Great little cottage for couples! It is a bit rustic but very clean, with all the supplies you need if you want to cook, and a place to store leftovers from some of the great places to eat in the area! The bed was very comfortable, and they had small TVs in the living area and the bedroom. The living room had a DVD player with several movies and shows, and the bedroom had Hulu, Netflix, etc. Wifi was good, and I was able to do a few quick work tasks while I was there. It is a short walk from downtown or the local grocery. Definitely recommend.

Very small cabin - nothing fancy but tucked in away from the main road with nice relaxing views. I will say it was a lot smaller than expected as the listing pictures made it look a lot bigger than it actually is. The bed is only a full size, not a queen, and the shower was unbelievably small. Also, the ceiling is very low and we kept hitting our heads on the ceiling fan. There is also another cabin butt up right against the cabin, so privacy isn't the greatest. However, it was very close to the town and lots of different things to do not far from the cabin. Again, nothing fancy, but it is a cute little cabin good for a little weekend getaway.

We visited Grand Lake for three ticketed shows at the Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater. We hoped to park once and walk. The location was perfect. No driving. Mountain views of the surrounding area exceeded our expectations. WIFI was great! The VRBO description used the word rustic. We considered the accommodations an adventure and appreciated the opportunity to adapt to the property. A couple of maintenance items would have improved our stay. The refrigerator was missing a light bulb. It was hard to see inside especially after dark. The microwave's carousel no longer functioned. Our usual popcorn burned in much less time than expected per package directions. We weren't the first to experience the same phenomena. Smoke stains at the back of the oven and residual burned odor remained from the last failed attempt. The second cupboard shelf did not have four anchors. The righthand back was missing. The switch for the bedroom lamp was faulty. I was afraid to use the lamp or even plug it in. These are all minor inconveniences. The main purpose was theater, and all the performances were excellent. Thanks again.

What a tremendous location, walking distance to everything in town, and right outside of the national park. Cabin had everything we needed. Would 100% recommend.

Perfect couples cottage

Had an awesome stay at this cute, little cottage. We spent most of our time in RMNP and this was a perfect home base. It's very close to the park so early starts before the 9 am when entry permits are required was easy. Close to the market and dining options in town.

Janet's property was clean, cozy, and incredibly located! We were a quick walk to downtown and a 5 minute drive to the North Inlet trailhead to Cascade Falls. We had everything we needed including extra games, books, and movies. Janet was so easy to communicate with, check-in and check-out was a breeze, and we could not have had a better stay!

Rustic cabin

This place is perfect if you are an outdoors lover. The cabin is great for overnights and the basics. Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park with access to many trails. Owner is very responsive.

Great Little Cabin

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. Allowed quick access to Rocky Mountain National Park and the sweet town of Grand Lake. Had a wonderful time.

This cabin was a fabulous place. It had everything we needed. There were a couple of issues (e.g., with the TVs, etc.), but Janet responded quickly and worked with us to resolve the issues. Some things that I especially appreciated were the washer and dryer, the full-size refrigerator (with ice trays), and the location in walking distance to downtown. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. Walked everywhere from the cabin. It was great to leave the car behind. Not a lot of dishes there for more than 2 people.

Perfect cozy cabin!

Beautiful place and location. Perfect size for a couple but there were plenty of visitors in the log book that had a great time with more than two people. Gorgeous views definitely walkable to town and restaurants though the hill up to the property may be challenging for some. This was perfect for our ten year anniversary trip. Thanks for having us!

This cabin is in a great location. Easy walk into town. There was very early morning construction next door during our stay, which was a bummer but not the fault of the cabin... Very tiny cabin, but my son and I had enough of room. He is 6'3 so the ceiling was very low for him. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean, and the fridge is big. On the down side the shower is VERY small and the kitchen is tiny. It is really meant for just one person at a time. overall, we were very happy with it, and would recommend.

Great location near entrance to RMNP in Grand Lake. You can walk to bars, restaurants and grocery stores. The town also has a great beach to relax after hikes . Glad we did this entrance versus Estes. Great communication with host would recommend to others ! Also was nice to have washer/dryer : cute kitchen and grill outdoors ( we were lazy and ate out but you can definitely cook meals) .

We love Grand Lake! We bought our very first vacation rental here in 2011. We fell in love with this little cabin that is convenient to downtown and just had to add it to our rental portfolio! The views are breathtaking and no matter what season you visit Grand Lake it's an adventure!
