About Connie Esch

My sister and I own this property. Our parents purchased the historic house on the west end of the lot in 1969, the year the Breckenridge ski area started expanding. The rental home was built later to accommodate our growing family. We remain seriously addicted skiers and backcountry travelers, and big fans of Breckenridge.

Connie Esch purchased this house in 1983

Why Connie Esch chose Breckenridge

We love the town of Breckenridge for its many varied activities, and we love the ski area because it is so versatile and easy to navigate. We think our home is in a perfect location.

What makes this house unique

We love our home and we hope you will too! It is comfortable and easy to relax in. We have filled it with things that we know make a ski vacation work. It is removed from the bustle of the condo villages, yet close to activities for everyone. The proximity to the shuttle makes it easy for the teens to sleep in and meet us when they are ready. Our fenced backyard provides a safe place for the little ones to dig and tunnel in the snow.

Guestbook comments from the owner

This is our first time visiting Breckenridge. We came with our 1 year-old and 5 year-old. What a great trip! We saw good friends and celebrated their wedding. It was awesome to be all snuggled up and warm while we watched the snow fall. Your house is perfect. The boys were so stoked to find the closet full of toys. We brought none so it was a huge relief and tons of fun. We were Thrilled to find "the lending box." We packed for 70 degrees and were able to enjoy the unexpected snow because we had extra jackets and gloves. Thank you! This is one of our first real family trips that we will always remember. For the last four days we've filled this place with love and fun. Thank you for giving us the memories.

Family home w lots of Breck history in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We live in Denver and come to Breckenridge for a long weekend at least once per year. We love staying in the historic district, because it means that we can get almost everywhere on foot - which is nice, especially with small children. This is a terrific house - well maintained and well appointed, with three full bedrooms and two full baths + one powder room. Loved the mountain view from the kitchen table and really liked the homey feel.

Great Trip, Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

We used this house for an annual ski trip with friends from back home. We all really enjoyed our stay and we were just a couple minutes away from downtown Breckenridge and anything you could need. I would definitely recommend staying here!

A great home for families with children

  • 4 of 5

Great location in old historic Breckenridge, with access to restaurants and shops within two blocks. The home met all our expectations, the kitchen was modern, well stocked with good quality cooking utensils, and the cupboards had all the dishes we needed. People had been doing some good cooking based on the spices and condiments that were in the cupboards. There is good separation between the bedrooms. We shared the house with our married sons and their children. There are many table games, and games for the grandchildren to play on the Wii when they were not skiing. The owner made herself accessible, although we did not need to contact her with any problems.

We enjoyed the design of the house with the kitchen, dinning room and living room on the second floor. We were able to enjoy views of the mountains while it was snowing, when the sun shone or when the mountains were encased with fog.

We look forward to returning to Connie and Wendy's home again sometime in the future.

Thank you for the use of your home.

Very cozy and great location

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 7 adults and fit perfectly in the house. The location was great as well, Connie recomended our ski rental location and we would just walk there and then to the slopes. We all had a great time and would love to come back.

Amazing location, cozy home, awesome stay

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed at Snowlover home for the holidays. We had a blast for many reasons. House was clean, cozy, warm, it had all the utensils and blankets needed. From the moment we booked to the last day of our stay we were able to contact the owners and they were happy to answer our many questions. Their instructions were well organized and well explained. They also have snow items to lend such as gloves, pants, sleds. On top of that the house has an amazing location, the town has great free transportation but we didn't need it, we were able to walk everywhere. There is a grocery store two blocks away which made us very happy, there is also a nice slope for sliding two blocks away, we are not skiers so we enjoyed the slope very much. We just loved our stay and we hope to come back pretty soon.
