We had a wonderful stay! The house was charming and authentic, located in a beautiful area. Everything was clean and comfortable, and we truly have nothing to complain about. The host was very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Nice place. Great host. The only downside is that the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, making for late night visits difficult. It's a beautiful property.

Thank you so much for you very kind review. There is a full bath upstairs where the bedrooms are. Hope you found that. 😊 The second toilet is downstairs off of the kitchen. You all were terrific guests. Please come again.
An awesome place to house us for our girl trip this year. We loved it and the convenience that the property allows to the trains and view of the water!
We had a wonderful stay in Gloucester!Great location for our hub of activities. Best sleep we have had! Must be the salt air from the harbour. Great parking!Definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Thank you for your nice review. It was great having you. Come back again.
Wonderful host and a great location for our brief Gloucester vacation. Ample parking and we could walk to restaurants, Good Harbor Beach, Rocky Neck, and more. The apartment is just as advertised and the host generously offered us access to her her deck overlooking the water. Beach chairs, beach towels, and even beach toys were supplied. The kitchenette looks fully functional, though we didn't try cooking there.

Thank you so very much for your wonderful review. You all were terrific guests. Love to have you back anytime.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Gloucester! Our host was very accommodating to our late arrival and we enjoyed our stay! Very unique older home! It was clean and well cared for.
The apartment was really nice! The decoration and layout of the place was great. It was the perfect size for 4 of us. The location was fantastic! It had a nice view of the marina which we really enjoyed. And our host, Linda, was lovely! Super friendly and helpful and responsive . We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Check-in was easy. Linda communicated well. Her location was excellent. Great views of marina. Only downside is bathroom is on floor below bedrooms. Just a problem for night trips to bathroom. Overall, a very enjoyable place.

Thank you for your review. I wish the bathroom was on the same floor with the bedrooms, but I do hope you found the stairs well-lit so it was ok. I did enjoy having you as guests and meeting you. You are welcome anytime.
If you appreciate the architecture of old homes from the 1890s this is for you. Linda our host was awesome. She was very accommodating and friendly. Had a great time. Love having a great breakfast next door at Zekes.
Miss Linda, out host was absolutely amazing.
My fiance and I just came back from a week there with our family.
We were married in Massachusetts during our stay and we couldn't have picked a better location or host for our first visit to New England.
Miss Linda provided everything that we needed and accommodating to our needs.we look forward to a future visit on an anniversary.

The location and host are absolutely perfect for seeing all of Gloucester. Museums, restaurants and art gallaries are everywhere in Gloucester and Rockport (minutes away).
Our stay was not without a surprise or two. For example a - heads up - for those that have trouble navigating quaint narrow/short tread stairways : My wife took it slow and was able to adjust (no biggy).
Property was as described. Clean, neat, tidy and comfortable. Our family enjoyed the park next door, proctor the downtown area, and all Gloucester had to offer. The property had a clothes rack outside to dry clothes after the beach and hose to rinse of sand, all amenities except a stove (hot plate instead), beds were comfortable, fans provided to help ventilate the upstairs bedrooms, good water pressure in the shower. All around comfortable apartment. Please note that there are stairs from the parking lot to yard, up to 2nd floor, and up to 3rd level bedrooms.
My best friend and I traveled to Gloucester to spend a long weekend with my son and DIL. What a FANTASTIC location. So easy to get around and always had 2 parking spots. We were so fortunate to learn our trip lined up with St Peter's Festival. We never heard of it but it was a lot of fun! We went in Cape Ann Whale Watching Tour and saw SO many humpback whales, highly recommend them! Spent an afternoon in rockport at bearskin neck. A very quaint and interesting place for little shops and restaurants. Seeing Eastern Point lighthouse and walked by the 1/2 mile water break is a must. Signs say private roads but they are not, just keep following your GPS! Great food at the Causeway and right down the road at The Lobster, walking distance. Absolutely a great location to stay. Linda is very nice, the place is clean, rooms are comfy and she has a beautiful backyard!
Cute New England home. This is an area in an apartment above where the property manager lives. There is a little shared space on the staircase, although she provides much privacy. Linda was very accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. Great views from the home and easy access to the home. Just 30 mins from Salem.
Linda was a very responsive host. The rental was the upper two floors of a charming old house, located midway between Rocky Neck and the downtown area.
This tidy home met our needs and was walkable to Good Harbor Beach. While it's not a terribly long walk, it feels longer with kids and carrying beach stuff. Hearing the seagulls and boats through the front windows was nice. The bedrooms are on the third floor and a bit stuffy on hot days. There are window AC units, which are adequate, but need some time to cool off the rooms. The host was very pleasant and gave us plenty of space, but I would note that if you're looking for privacy, this is not your best bet. She lives on the lower floors and there is a shared staircase to get to the bedrooms. If you've got the money to spend, staying in one of the hotels that overlook the ocean is nice, but this rental is half the cost of one of those hotels.
This rental was great for our trip to Gloucester for the St. Peter’s Festival. Great location. Beautiful view! Great response by host for check in and during our stay. There are a lot of steps to manage and it is an older home with older floors and some step ups/unique steps in places so make sure everyone is agile. We are an older couple and managed fine! Great air conditioning too! We were there during a hot weekend!
