This beachfront home was perfect for our group of four, each of whom needed their own bedroom. The house is beautiful, with lovely views of the ocean waves and the dunes from the large windows and sliding glass doors. The house is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathrooms, bathrooms, living room, and dining room, and it is extremely well laid out. We also enjoyed the outdoor spaces, including the deck that faces the ocean and the patio in the front of the house with couches and a table perfect for drinks and appetizers. We also appreciated the artistry and/or whimsy of the décor inside and out. And of course, we loved walking down to the beach. The location is an easy distance from Salinas (we went to the Steinbeck Center one afternoon) and Carmel (we took a tour of Robinson Jeffers' Tor House and Hawk Tower). Also, the host was extremely responsive. We have a fabulous time and we highly recommend this place!

We loved our stay in the Monterey Dunes. The house that we had was beautiful with all the latest furnishings and decor just like a model home. There was lots of room for all 7 of us. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with a multitude of the latest pans, dishes, cutlery, and even spices, paper towels, etc. Our view from the living room and several of the bedrooms was outstanding. We could not have asked for more. We all enjoyed the heated pool which was only a short walk away. There were also tennis and basketball courts which the kids loved. The ocean was just steps way with all kinds of interesting birds, shells, and vegetation.All in all we had a very enjoyable stay in a very beautiful home.

Serene condo. It was the perfect spring break for my family of 6. We spent a lot of time walking along the beach and relaxing on the back patio watching the sunset. This is our return trip from 2021. Perfect destination to escape the business of everyday life

Beautiful property, house was exactly as described and better. Fully stocked with everything a kitchen would need to cook for families. Bathrooms were also stocked which was a great help. Owners were quick to communicate if needed. Location was absolutely lovely, the dunes are stunning, and the beach is incredible.

This is a gorgeous spot for a relaxing beach vacation. Beautiful house (it shares a wall with quiet neighbors) with bedrooms in three separate, private wings, each with their own bathrooms, with two bedrooms having knockout views of the beach, and well-stocked kitchen with everything you need (including good coffee, oil and vinegar etc.) and a welcoming family room. The house has a great barbecue grill and all the necessary beach stuff. The hosts responded to questions immediately and made the place really welcoming. The site is a private, quiet beach community with tennis courts, pickleball, basketball, a nice pool and a good hot tub. And the beach goes on for miles. And you are an easy drive to amazing coastal walks, a redwood grove, and Monterey and its famous aquarium. I went with three generations of family members, eight in all, and it worked well and we had a blast.

A Second Great Stay

An annual trip four our family. We love staying here. Clean, well maintained, and the pantry and kitchen are fully stocked. The beach is straight out the door and the view is amazing. Thank you, Ted and Rose, for sharing your home with us.

Family get away

This place has everything. From beach and sunset with pool and sports courts to having every possible accessory needed as if it were your own home, this place had it all. Everything was spelled out and easy… didn’t need to contact the owner once during our entire stay. If coming back to Moss Landing, would definitely stay again.

Weather was perfect and the accommodations were pristine. We really enjoyed our stay there (minus the power outages).

A Slice of Heaven

This was an amazing place to stay. The view was incredible, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook. The appliances were new and the furniture was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Beach House

The property was exactly as pictured and kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you need. Host Ted was very responsive and welcoming. Loved our stay and definitely want to come back!

We love the ocean and love Monterey Dunes. The dunes offer a unique setting. The dunes are a ecosystem unto itself. Very rare to have the dunes to be viewed from the home as well the ocean.

we are in the middle of nowhere short distance to Santa Cruz to the north, and to the south: Big Sur, Pacific Grove, Carmel, Monterey, and Point Lobos

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

we live in a gated community. We have a community pool (when in season) jacuzzi, Tennis , Golf nets, volley ball, pickle ball, basketball, bocce ball and shuffle board at the clubhouse a short walk away for the unit.
