The owner provided everything needed to make the stay as problem free as possible, even down to games, an umbrella, and pans to use in panning for gold in the creek. The pond was well stocked with fish. The donkeys were always glad to greet the visitors. The house was beautiful inside.
Farmhouse was so incredibly cozy and owners were super sweet! We loved all the amenities and enjoyed visiting and feeding the animals on site. Make sure you arrive in the day time because it was a little tricky at night until we realized where it was. We will definitely be back for another stay within the year!
Don't miss this one....This stay was so wonderful. It was an incredible weekend getaway for our family. The cottage was so clean and perfect! Mike & Brenda were the perfect hosts. So friendly, treated us like family. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. WE ARE ALREADY TRYING TO PLAN ANOTHER STAY.
We came for a short trip to explore and loved it so much we stayed an extra night ! The house and property are even better than they appear in pictures. My kids loved visiting the animals and catching fish. We felt right at home and would love to return one day.
We enjoyed a last minute mother-daughter weekend at this property and it was great! The place was quaint, clean & comfortable with cozy decor echoing its’ beautiful surroundings on this relaxing farm atmosphere. Hosts thought of everything, property as described! We’ll be back!
My mom and I stayed at Duck Farm for a Mother/Daughter Mother's Day weekend getaway in May 2025. We had a wonderful experience! The farm house is exactly as pictured - well stocked, clean with a lovely, homey feel! Perfect location, very convenient to several wineries and downtown Dahlonega. Would definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay here, in the country but close to lots of wineries, food and shopping! Loved that you can walk around the property and pet the horses and especially the miniature donkey! Hosts were very friendly and responsive!
We were intown for a family wedding and this was the perfect place for our family of 4! There was ample room to get ready for rehearsal and ceremony, plus we enjoyed the fishing, horses, and Katie! The farmhouse was perfect!
Loved this cute little house! Clean, plenty of space for 5, stocked with snacks and waters. The hosts were very responsive. My son got to pet the donkey and horses, which was super sweet. Bed were very comfortable, even pullout couch! We'd love to stay again! Cons: small shower, but not as small as it looks. It actually wasn't awful, good water pressure. Very slow wifi, couldn't stream. We have Google fi network, which was extremely slow, with spotty network . My mom has Verizon and it worked well in the house.
Excellent property, we enjoyed the grounds, creeks, and amenities. Thank you for a wonderful little getaway!

Enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed during Christmas and the farmhouse was so beautiful and decorated so nicely. Everything we needed was provided and more. Would definitely recommend.
The property is beautiful, the house is adorable, the horses and mini donkey (Katie) are so cute. This was the perfect getaway! We did the Amicalola falls hike (about 30 mins away). Love this place! We will definitely be back!
Beautiful, clean and Quiet. The property owners are close and accessible, but everything was so nice that we didn't need them! Very comfortable beds too.
The house was easy to find, very clean, decorated nicely, and had everything our family of 5 needed. We walked the horse farm property and our kids loved seeing the horses, donkey, and dogs. We enjoyed talking to the property owners and watching them ride horses before going into Dahlonega and attending our wedding 1mile away. Peaceful location and beautiful stars but close to many things to do. We would stay here again.
This was probably one of the nicest places we have stayed in the North Georgia Mountains. Owner was very friendly and let us pet the horses and donkey. Will definitely stay here again!
We are a returning visitor. The place is clean, comfortable, welcoming, and you have access to multiple activities on the property. This is our favorite place to stay in North Georgia.
We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The location was nice and close to everything. Our two girls enjoyed seeing and meeting the animals! Great communication with the owners.
