About this property

Relaxing Catskill Mountain Cottage.

1,000 sq ft. cottage, located on a seven acre, partially wooded property in the Catskills. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and sliding glass doors opening onto a deck and looking out towards the forest.

Two, private bedrooms with one queen and one full bed. Wood burning stove with plenty of firewood, and a stocked kitchen; everything you need for cooking gourmet meals.

Outside, we have a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a gas grill, and charcoal grill.

For entertainment, we offer a smart TV and high speed, broadband internet/wifi. We also have audiophile quality bluetooth speakers and turntable. Bring your records!

Had a lovely stay. The space is rustic in feeling, yet stylish. Good communication with the host. The place is situated facing the woods, so it feels private. But I would note that it shares a driveway with another house that’s very close by. It was a surprise to me, but it was certainly not an issue. Really great spot!

A beautiful peaceful spot. It snowed both days of our stay and we loved watching the snow turn the surrounding trees into a magical place while we stayed cozy and warm. The long driveway and path were plowed both days and we had no trouble reaching the road, which was also plowed.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kim's cottage. The property was perfectly engulfed in nature. It was far enough but also close to local area attractions and Woodstock. The hiking trails are very close by and some of the most beautiful we have seen upstate. The cottage was stocked with everything (and more) that you could need. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay!

This house and property is gorgeous, quiet, and relaxing. We all loved our stay here. We did wish it was a bit closer to Woodstock as we had plans in town, but we would definitely stay here again. It was a lovely weekend!

Amazing cabin in the forest

What an amazing stay. We wanted a cabin retreat in the woods for our trip to the Catskills and this is exactly what we got. Incredible location, peaceful, quiet, green, pure escapism! A beautiful location and if you are thinking to book it - just do it - you won't regret it!

Property owner was very responsive and easily accessible. Our power was out when we got there and we were provided updates as to when everything would be restored in a timely manner. House was clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay around West Shokan.

Perfect stay for us!

We so enjoyed the quiet, off the beaten path of this location. Just what was ordered for rest and relaxation! Felt like I was back in my hometown driving in the country. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and many extras make this cabin a great find! You won’t regret choosing this property.
