Prime Location

This property has everything you need for a great vacation. It was the perfect spot for our family of 4. Having the parking spot was a huge bonus.

fantastic spot- clean and close to everything!

My buddy and I came out here for a guys weekend and it didn't disappoint. very clean spacious space. communication was great. absolutely no complaints whatsoever. I will be back!! thanks a tonne

Great Waikiki location

Great location to many amenities- Waikiki beach within easy walking distance; lots of restaurants/shops close by; easy walk to International Mall; city bus stop a block away. Very much appreciated the beach chairs.Condo itself comfortable. Smaller than expected. Tight quarters in bedrooms with little space to store luggage out of the way. It needs “a little love” However we would stay here again.

Fantastic

The property was clean. The property manager was very accommodating. And easy to get a hold of. Centrally located. Just a few minutes walk from the beach. Parking was great, no complaints. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful condo and great location :)

The rental was clean and comfortable for our family. The location is very close to beaches, shops/restaurants etc … we would def stay here again!

Super Spot

Clean Condo with all necessities. Amazing view of Diamond Head and situated close to Kapiolani Park. A short walk to both Queen's and Kaimana Beaches. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend for a family of 4-5

2 bedroom condo near Waikiki

Only a few blocks away from Waikiki beach and great views of Diamond Head. Easy access to the Honolulu Zoo and local attractions. The condo had a kitchen so we could cook for our family and there was a laundry room just steps away from our door. Great spot for our family.

A clothes rack for drying clothes on would be useful. 3. Directions on how shower works for overseas people visiting would be useful.4. Great location and property

Location was great. Just a few blocks off the beach and close to shopping and restaurants. Clean condo with what you need to make for a good stay. The ticket process for the garage is a little odd and somewhat cumbersome but it’s not that bad. Make sure to take the parking pass with you at check out no then run it back up to the room after getting out of the garage. This will save you $50.

Nice and Conveniently Close

My family just stayed 10 days in this unit and enjoyed ourselves. Couldn’t beat the location for the price for sure. There was even a neighborhood alarm clock …aka that damn rooster! Haha Parking was very convenient and easy to get in and out from. The included parking pass for free parking was a blessing for sure. Perhaps my favorite is the terrific air conditioning that helped us immensely once we came in from enjoying the heat.

Clean

The view was great. The unit was old but very clean and maintained. The tables and chairs were old but comfy. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The location was awesome; not a far walk to the main strip that had multiple malls and restaurants. Also very close to a convenient store. There was also a small store in the building too. My only complaint about the building is the parking garage. It was very tight and had dead ends. But I found out that's not uncommon in HI.

Diamond Head Full Screen

First of all, the location and view - Diamond Head, unblocked, in all it's glory, was wonderful. Only one short block to the beach, and convenient to shops and restaurants can't be beat. Being at one end of Waikiki also meant we weren't surrounded by crowd and traffic noise. Everything we needed was provided and all communications were prompt, easy, and clear. Parking was included and we appreciated that. If we were to try to find fault, it would be that one, then two of the four elevators were under maintenance during part of our visit, resulting in somewhat of a wait during the morning "rush hour," a minor inconvenience.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great stay. Very convenient location and wonderful view. Amenities were very nice and we had everything we needed.Only negatives would be there was a feitn musty smell that may have been coming in from the trash room right next to our unit. Also the air conditioning unit was very loud. Also the elevators sometimes took a while but understandable as it is a large building. But other than that it was a nice place to call home for a few days.

Bait and switch

When we arrived at the condo, I was very surprised that it was very, small, rundown and not clean. The air conditioning didn’t work, luckily we didn’t really need it. I couldn’t open the second bedroom closet all of the way, paint was peeling on all doors. The balcony glass table had been broken and instead of replacing it, they tried to repair it with cement or something. The fridge looked like it came from someone’s garage. The vacuum didn’t work and I could not sweep up with the old broom. I am pointing this out because in addition to the rental fee and taxes, I had to pay a cleaning fee. I may sound like I’m being petty but we payed a lot to rent this place and it did not match the pictures at all. Despite all of this the location was great, the beds were comfortable and we had a great time. Unfortunately, I do not think we will rent from Captain Cooks again.

Affordable Rental with a Great View and Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and comfortable. The beds were not hard or to soft. The A/C kept the condo cool and comfortable. I slept well.I sat at the desk and worked most weekdays using the internet. The internet never failed but I did have one Zoom meeting that it didn't have enough bandwidth to handle so we had to end the video and just use audio. Otherwise, I never had a problem with it.Captain Cook manager was good at providing for our needs. The fridge was leaking water to the ice maker. After my call, he called a repairman which showed up the next day to replace the parts in the fridge to fix that. Yes they are still working on replacing the pipes in the building and there were 2 different days where water and A/C were turned off to replace pipes. They tell you days in advance so we planned on being elsewhere during that time. No construction happened at night. We could hear some starting around 9-10 am on a few days but it was mostly quiet.I would definitely recommend this condo to family or a friend. But I must provide a caution. It is NOT a 5 or 4 STAR hotel. If you can't live with imperfections, then go somewhere else. (And plan on paying a lot more for it.)Imperfections like scratches on the tile floor, some paint peeling off, a 3 foot tub (I showered every day so it didn't matter to me. Note - to turn shower on, pull the ring down on bottom of the faucet), cabinet doors starting to come apart, outdated furniture, etc...Yes it is used, but is all usable. Wonderful view of Diamond Head, close to Queens and Waikiki beaches, close to Zoo, within walking distance to a lot of attractions.I was satisfied with my stay and have a lot of wonderful memories of my month there. I enjoyed my stay at this rental.
