Ubicado en 3 acres en un entorno tranquilo con hermosas vistas de 500 acres de tierra de conservación con senderos para caminar y senderos para bicicletas. Family vacation

We stayed at the house for 2 weeks this summer and had a great time. The house is open, airy and well appointed. The house also has a very large back yard with a fire pit and play ground. The owners were very nice and helpful.

Hidden Gem

To be brief, we have been vacationing to Nantucket annually for almost 20 years and this house is a hidden gem. We were not able to book our normal house this year due to scheduling conflicts and found the Cottage on VRBO. The living spaces and kitchen are very large and easily accommodated our family of 6. We love the peace and quiet of the east end of the Island and this perfectly met and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely consider this house again.

Great stay but just be aware...

The place was lovely - it was perfect space for 8 people. One couple took the master bedroom and their kids took the loft, and our family used the 2 rooms in the basement. Enjoyed coffee each morning out in the 3-season porch and definitely felt relaxed after coming back from the beach each day knowing that we had 3 showers (2 inside, 1 outside). The one thing that bugged us was that the listing mentioned a volleyball court but it didn't come with a net? The kids and adults were looking forward to playing! It also mentioned there were bikes to use - however, you had to coordinate with the renters in the main house next door – since the bikes were stationed in their basement. Not a big deal – since the renters in the main house were flexible – but that’s not something we’d want to deal with if they weren’t. We ended up using the 2- person kayak by the pond (again the paddles were in the basement of the main house). All in all, we had a great time.

Perfection in Quidnet

We had the most wonderful week at Penny's property! It was clean, bright, and well-equipped. She and her property manager, Vin, were so warm and welcoming. Our kids LOVED playing in the fabulous backyard and play area, and the upstairs and downstairs lounge areas were perfect for adults and kids to have our own spaces. Can't recommend the property enough - one of the greatest houses we've rented on the island!

Great Thanksgiving

Had a wonderful family trip with our 3 teenagers. Home was exactly as advertised. King bed on the main floor allowed parents to get up early while the kids slept. We didn’t need the twins in the loft but it’s a nice extra. Thank you for putting out a turkey pan for us!!!

Lovely property

We loved our stay at papa and nanna’s house. Super clean, lovely grounds with gorgeous views and very peaceful. The online pictures were accurate and the communication with the owners was easy.

Gem in Quidnet

We just returned from a lovely stay at the cottage. It is a stone’s throw from Quidnet Pond. The property is spectacular- so lush and green. The swing set was perfect for our young children. The owners were incredibly warm and responsive. It was a perfect stay- thank you!

Lovely stay

I really loved this property. It was clean and bright and the yard was great for my three little kids. I appreciated the availability of beach chairs and towels. The house is super close to the bike path so we were able to walk/bike all over the island.

Absolutely beautiful

Wonderful for families and wonderful serenity in one of the best places on the island. The natural landscape was perfect and the house had ever possible thing you could need. It was clean ,updated, and comfortable. We had one of our best family vacations ever and would recommend this piece of heaven to anyone considering it

Great house in a great location

The PapaNanna "cottage" is well designed for a family, and my son and daughter in law who have four children took it over and were thrilled Naturally, the children loved the yard, trees, and places to play; proximity to bike paths and beaches made it easy to take advantage of all the Island has to offer. We loved every minute and were sad to go home.

Awesome Property!

Had a great time at this beautiful house! Well equipped, 4 bed, 2 bath home. Kitchen and living room very spacious. Awesome outdoor space, nature, kids area, observation deck, grill, outdoor shower, etc. Close to town and restaurants, very near to Great Point where we love to fish. Owner, Penny, was great to work with. Would highly recommend!

25 Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated our marriage and family for 3 generations by renting both the cottage and the house 234121. What a fantastic time. Plenty of space, a dining table that fits 14 comfortably. outside playground, bike paths for the teens and beautiful walking paths for us. Quidnet Pond and beach are wonderful, safe and quiet. The houses were stocked with everything we needed, and beautifully arranged. We plan to come back again and again

Wonderful home - great time

We are a family with two young children. This home was just prefect for us. Great outdoor space for the kids, but beautiful serene views for us. Sesachacha Pond is perfect for young kids, very safe. And Quidnet beach is just so peaceful. Place was very well equipped and the owners great to work with. Will come back.

Perfect vacation - beautiful inside and out

We came for a week the beginning of September and didn't want to leave. The home is beautifully decorated, kitchen had everything, and the sheets looked brand new. The views are peaceful and expansive. We biked ( just off Polpis bike path), went to Quidnet beach and kayak (there is one with the house). Loved the screen porch and grilled out most days. Weather was perfect and the crowds have left. Penny was wonderful to work with, will definitely come back.

Best vacation - 2 weeks of paradise

This was our fifth summer at PapaNanna's cottage. As usual, the place was immaculate, with new sheets and towels. Our day starts with coffee on the deck while enjoying the beautiful view. Then we either bike (bike path is very close by) to town or Sconset, or walk the Squam Farm paths ( the 500 acre farm abuts the property). Afternoons at Quidnet beach are peaceful and the ocean swims - refreshing. Nights we grill out or this year use the fantastic new fire pit. Our friends loved it. Penny and Mike are great to work with and so willing to honor any request.

This house is magnificent!

This house is beautifully maintained and the pictures do not do it justice. It is very roomy yet very cozy. The setting is very private and yet it is just a short ride to town. I hope to return again and would recommend very highly.

Great place to stay!

We are so glad that we found this beautiful home to rent for our family! It absolutely exceeded all of our expectations- with a great location, it was beautifully furnished and well maintained,spotlessly clean, with a fully stocked kitchen, great layout, and anything you could possibly need for a beach vacation! We loved working with Penny and can't wait to go back again next year. September is the perfect time to visit Nantucket and this will be our go-to place!

Beautiful setting; lovely house

We just returned and are already hoping to return next summer. Huge, verdant backyard (w plenty of space, swings, hammocks for kids & grown-ups to use). Well-stocked kitchen. Comfy furniture w wonderful, laid-back, beachy feel. About a mile from Sesachacha Pond/beach in a very peaceful area of the island. Highly recommend.

Vacation heaven

Beautifully maintained grounds and home. The small porch off the master bedroom overlooked the lovely, green backyard (plenty of space for kids to run around, throw a baseball, fly a kite). The kitchen is well-stocked for those who like to cook. We spent hours in the hammock out back or reading on the porch. Biking or walking to Sesachacha Pond/beach was easy (5 minute bike ride; 15 minute walk). Peaceful and quiet. The perfect place for a summer break. The owners were very responsive to questions or issue with the house.

2 weeks away from crowds, noise and and the rush.

With the goal of relaxation, our family all agreed that PappNanna was the best choice. Our mornings started with the birds singing, a light breeze and few plans for the day. We enjoyed the open views and recreational space, the distance, yet closeness, to grocery shopping, beach and bike path access. We are considering a visit again sometime in the next few years. The Sea Grille was our go-to restaurant.
