Five minute walk or two minute bus ride to Sugar Mountain Activities:

**Walk 700 yards to Sugar Mountain Ski Lodge and Sugar Mountain Golf and Tennis Club, a 5 minute walk (1/2 downhill, 1/2 flat)
Return walk is ½ uphill and includes a 100 foot climb.

** Ride the complimentary ski bus shuttle in winter from the bus stop that is 700 feet from the house.

This is our summer home which we offer to you as a quality Fall, Winter and Spring vacation experience!  We limit the occupancy to six guests to keep the house as nice as possible so your return visits will be as good as your first visit.  And we offer a return-guest discount. House Details:
**Three bedrooms, two bathrooms single level house with no steps.
**Sleeps 6 comfortably in beds, no sofa-bed.
**Large covered deck with four comfortable chairs, fire pit table, and view of Grandfather Mountain.
** Large vaulted ceiling living room with a gas log fireplace, a new reclining sectional sofa, 42” TV and Wifi and a ceiling fan.
** Separate foyer and dining room with an eight-person dining table.
** Fully stocked modern kitchen with all the normal amenities: dishwasher, refrigerator, range/oven, microwave oven, coffee pot, toaster, crockpot, plus new dishware, silverware, utensils, and pots and pans.
**All appliances are stainless steel and were replaced in the summer of 2023 or 2024.
**Separate breakfast area with a four-person breakfast table and chairs.
**Second covered outdoor deck with a four-person table and chairs.
**New central heating with air conditioning.
**Attached garage for one car plus plenty of outside parking.
**Separate laundry with washer and dryer.
**Gas barbecue.
**The floor plan gives everyone plenty of privacy at night.

Master Suite:
** Spacious, vaulted ceiling room with wall-mounted TV.
**New king-size bed with a new plush mattress.
**Oversized bathroom with a Jacuzzi-style jetted tub, separate shower, large lavatory counter and a hidden toilet.
**Large walk-in closet.
** For privacy, this bedroom is separated from the second bedroom by the kitchen.

Second bedroom:
**New queen-size bed with a new plush mattress.
**4’ x 4’ walk-in closet.
**Direct access to the second bathroom which has a tub/shower, lavatory, and toilet.
**For privacy this bedroom is separated from the third bedroom by the second bathroom.

Third bedroom:
**New Spruce bunk/trundle bed with three new mattresses
**4’ x 4’ walk-in closet.
**Small antique wood desk and chair that can be used for computer work.

Other things to make your visit pleasant:
1. Free WIFI and a wireless printer in the living room.
2. Children are always welcome, so bring them and build family memories.
3. Each bedroom has extra blankets and pillows, but new central heating/AC keeps the house warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
4. Ping Pong table in the garage for your enjoyment.
5. Game table in living room for chess, checkers and backgammon.

House Rules:
**No smoking of any kind is allowed anytime, anywhere in the house or on the decks.
**No pets are allowed.
**No events, receptions or parties are allowed (this is not a beat-up party house).
**No check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day.
**All guests are required to sign their rental agreement within 7 days of booking. Rental agreement will be emailed to you.
