I visited this house in march with two other couples. It was an amazing week, my wife and I wish we could have stayed longer. Its everything we wanted and more. The set up of the bedrooms and guest cottage worked quite well. I could see this house being perfect for large family gatherings. The downstairs rooms connect to a small play area. The master and guest suite are on either side of the kitchen. The guest house is down a floor next to the pool area. The house, patio, and rooms were excellently cleaned. That picturesque cliff view of the water in the morning will stay with me for a long time. I made sure the last day I got to see a sunrise from the patio, it was beautiful. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and they keep a well stocked pantry with all the spices and condiments you could need. We celebrated a birthday and it was a breeze cooking rib-eye steaks on the grill and they provide grill utensils. Appliances were on the newer side and in excellent working condition. The outdoor showers I think were one of my favorite parts. After a long day at pristine white sand beaches. It was a nice feeling to take a cool outdoor shower to clean up before dinner. The house is an incredible destination, but like any vacation on St John, it is up to you what kind of vacation to have. St John is a place to unplug, incredible beaches on the island, so much to explore. My favorite beach was a toss up between Trunk and Maho. I didn't get a chance to go hiking but that is on my list for next time. The local restaurants on the coral bay side offered good food for decent prices. I think Cruze bay eateries are over rated and so far away to not be worth the trek. No consistent cell service on the island, but why would you want it? At the house you could get connected if you wanted to, it has an internet phone for calls to the main land, and a local phone for calls on the island. Consistent Wifi connection in the kitchen, upstairs bedrooms, and patio. The one caveat is I would warn guests about the driveway, it is easy to miss and unpaved. It really isn’t a problem with the typical jeep wranglers people rent on the island. I plan on returning to this gem of an island. Remember you can’t drink all day on the beach, unless you start early.
