Vista mare 3 camere da letto, 2 bagni. È arredata con una regina nella suite principale, una regina nella seconda stanza degli ospiti e due gemelli nella terza stanza. Ci sono due TV (50 "SAMSUNG HDTV IN LVNGROOM), un lettore DVD e uno stereo per l'intrattenimento all'interno del condominio. Pavimenti in piastrelle che lo rendono fresco per l'estate e facile da pulire dalla sabbia. L'unità ha una lavatrice / asciugatrice e un proprio accesso a Internet per salvare il telefono sui dati. A Summerhouse abbiamo 4 piscine a temperatura controllata tra cui scegliere sulla proprietà che lo rende comodo per nuotare tutto l'anno! Ci sono anche quattro campi da tennis, due campi da squash e un campo da pickleball. Abbiamo due aree per grigliate e due campi da gioco per i bambini situati alle estremità della proprietà. La nostra area comune intorno alle piscine è ricoperta da una lussureggiante erba ben tenuta con una breve passeggiata per la spiaggia. La nostra unità di noleggio ha uno staff amichevole di front office e manutenzione in loco per aiutare a risolvere rapidamente qualsiasi problema qualora dovesse insorgere. Abbiamo una piccola biblioteca e una palestra disponibili durante il normale orario di lavoro per la vostra convenienza.

Desperate Need of Attention

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all, I would like to say that the condo was clean and all the staff was professional. The sliding glass door was not in good working order. A maintenance person came to condo and placed handle on sliding door which made it usable. The screen for the patio sliding door was busted and would not shut properly, the patio seats were rotted out, the washing machine is very loud when spinnning, the dryer knob came off when washing machine was spinning, the bathroom knobs are loose in every bathroom, the living furniture needs replaced, the beds need replaced and several other small issues. The owner(s) needs to invest in their condo or management needs to stop renting this condo. When I discussed these issues with the General Manager, he made me feel like I was the complaining for no reason.

Great Location, poorly maintained unit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit we occupied is in need of maintenance, mainly the glass sliding door and vertical blinds. The blinds would not close and had to be serviced. They are also brittle and are fracturing; three cracked and fell during our stay. The door itself is so hard to open and close, my wife pulled a muscle in her back trying to close it. The track is severely rusted and the entire door and frame needs to be replaced. The fan cover over the microwave is missing. The light fixture on the fan in the master bedroom is hanging by the electrical wires. We have been staying at Summerhouse since the 1970s.

Do Not Stay Here

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me save you some time, do not stay in this unit. When we saw the pics for this unit, we realized it looked a bit dated, but it was the only available 3 bedroom unit that did not have third bedroom bunk beds, which is what we needed. When we arrived at the unit, there was a dirty film on all of the glass tables, as if it hadn't been cleaned in a month. We also had to wash the bed linens when we arrived as they were dirty too. The sliding door to the yard and pool does not slide well on its track and the screen for it was bent on the bottom, so we couldn't use that either. The beds are super uncomfortable, there are rips in the wallpaper and loose handles on the bathroom sink. The best part of all was when we tried to unlock the front door and the key got stuck. Luckily, Summerhouse had a great maintenance staff that we became well acquainted with. The rental manager even came in and stated that they didn't know all of the things that were wrong with this unit. With that said, Summerhouse is normally a wonderful place to stay, the pools and boardwalks to the ocean are wonderful. We have been staying at Summerhouse for almost a decade and have never stayed in a unit this bad. We were informed by staff that this unit is owned by a member of the Summerhouse board, he should be ashamed to rent this unit. We were told on our checkout date by the office staff that there is a gold, silver, etc. rating system (which we were not aware of) and that it was our own fault for renting this unit as we should have researched it better. We won't make that mistake again! If you want to have a peaceful, pleasant vacation, please rent a different unit.

Summerhouse Love That Brought Disappointment

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of friends and our families have been renting condos at Summerhouse every Labor Day for about 38 years. This year was the worst ever. Not only was our unit not updated but many things were not working properly, damaged, and needed lots of TLC. Rate we paid to stay in this unit was overpriced for the condition it was in compared to some of other units of our friends were staying in. We all will be looking for better, cleaner well kept condos in the future. We love Summerhouse but it seems to be headed on a downward condition . Prices have gone up, no longer stay 3 nights with 4th night free, $25 charge for more than 2 parking spaces.

Convenient but Mediocre

Worst unit I've ever rented

I personally couldn't open it on my own. Been coming to Summerhouse for 30 years. This is the only unit I will never rent again. No reflection on Summerhouse or the staff. They were great and very understanding. Apparently this was a known issue to unit owners and they just don't care.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to Summerhouse since I was a kid..40 years. This is the first time we have had a bad condo. The owners of this condo need to do a complete renovation on their condo. We had grandparents with us who couldn’t even open the back door. We called and the staff came out and tried to fix but said the entire door and frame need to be replaced and that the owners knew. All of the chairs outside have large holes in the seats. The furniture was very uncomfortable. There are no fans in the two guest rooms. The front room was so hot, the air doesn’t work in there. There were literally 4 steak knives. The front door needs to be replaced. It’s a fire hazard as it was very difficult to open. I was so disappointed in this condo. Summerhouse should honestly take it off their rental program until the owners do the upkeep that is needed.

Not up to Summerhouse Standards

Issues found this year:* Sliding glass door had been pried open and reinstalled with the door on the outside and the screen on the inside. While the lock worked. We were not convinced of it’s security. We were told the fix was scheduled for the following week.* The microwave hood/vent piece was completely missing.* The latch on the dishwasher was broken* Wallpaper was old and peeling off* Unit is in overall bad repair. We won’t be renting this one again.* While this isn’t unique to this unit, we were unhappy with the two vehicle permit limit. The lot is never full on the week we visit. Optional parking solutions are poor.

Beach vacation 2019

Family Vacation

All rooms need new mattresses - they are all hard. The master needs a king bed. There was mildew in the master shower and the guest bath sink & tub didn't drain well. The washer and dryer work well. The front door doesn't fit well. (see daylight when shut)

It was very outdated, needed painting, rust in the dishwasher and freezer, duct tape holding the shampoo shelf in the master shower, sink faucet in guest bath sprayed on the front of our clothes, plugs wouldn’t stay in the receptacles, uncomfortable furniture. Need I go on?

Very dirty, worn, and gross. Stains on walls and doors, furniture old and worn, floors and rugs dirty and stained, showers have mold, mattresses and pillows are terrible, locks on front and patio doors broken, wall paper ripped and cracking, and tables unclean with food spills caked in. Bathrooms are too small for anyone pregnant or big. Given only two bath towels for family of six (office sent over more immediately when notified). Found cockroach on our last night there. Beach and pool are nice but this condo made the experience terrible. Pretty much ruined our vacation. Will not be back. Do not recommend to anyone. Also, not an ocean view. First floor, pool view.

Unit #337 Does Not Live Up To Summerhouse’s Amazingness

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Summerhouse many times throughout the years. We love vacationing at Summerhouse. We have had nothing but amazing accommodations throughout the years. However, Unit #337 was sadly a huge disappointment. The furniture is outdated. The appliances were old, dishwasher was rusty, many necessary kitchen utensils were missing. Dry food was found on utensils that were put away in the utensil drawer. The master bath shower had a soap dish that was duct taped together, 2 slats from the vertical blinds were missing from the living area, and missing light switches & missing dimmer switch in the unit. Simply, unit #337 does not match the other 5-star accommodations of Summerhouse. The unit is the only one that has ever disappointed us.

Well stocked and roomy but needs some TLC

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit is clean, well furnished and stocked. There are plenty of books and games to enjoy. We did notice a few things that needed some attention: The corner shelf in the master shower was broken and covered completely with duck tape. Three of the vertical panels were missing/broken. We couldn't get the TV to work, but my husband was able to figure out that the cable box was unplugged as were most of the table lamps and clocks. Staff responded very quickly and fixed two of the vertical panels, moved furniture to get to power strips to plug in lights, and replaced a broken stem on one lamp. We rent four units here and this is the least updated of them. The three bedroom units are rare, so we reserved again next year. Hoping to see a few needed updates between now and then. If nothing else, a new coat of paint would really brighten things up.

Oven had a bad gas odor when we used it, enough so we had to open the kitchen window. Nice smart TVs with all the options. Like I said, just alright. Nothing terrible but have stayed in much nicer for similar price.
