Kokomo II is a gorgeous Gulf front home located approximately three miles west of Highway 59. This two-story home has a covered parking area for your convenience. The stairs lead you to the north side entry, with the main level featuring an open living area, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen as well as in-unit laundry. The living area has a simple, yet elegant interior decor with subtle beach-themed touches. Cozy up on one of the comfortable sofas and watch your favorite sit-com on the flatscreen TV while any of your guests prepare delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. The private deck offers an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy your meals, a couple of beach chairs, perfect for sunbathing, and direct beach access. The parrot head guest bedroom with hand-painted charms features a queen bed. The second guest bedroom on the northwest side of the home has two bunk beds. Everybody should know a place like Kokomo.

This vacation rental is less than three miles from downtown Gulf Shores where you can find a plethora of dining options such as Janino's Pizza, De Soto's Seafood Kitchen, Shrimp Basket Gulf Shores, Waffle House, and many more! The Gulf State Park is close and it boasts two miles of powdery sands, the largest fishing pier on the Gulf of Mexico, scenic biking and hiking trails, and even freshwater lakes you can explore in a kayak. The Park at OWA is a well-known amusement park featuring thrilling rides such as the Air Racer, Crazy Mouse, Freedom Flyer, and more and it's only 14 up north.

Wonderful vacation

Loved the Kokomo II

We loved our stay at the Kokomo II. Couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous beach view, and we were a mere ten minutes away from the main road with many of the restaurants/activities in the area. We were happy and comfortable in the beautiful, spacious home. Will recommend to others.

Mixed Feelings

Location is amazing. House “bones” are great . Layout good and many happy memories!! The management company was unresponsive to our complaints about soiled or permanently stained bedding (comforters) in the master and Queen bed BR. Time to replace the living room furniture - the chairs are threadbare and pilling and the couch is pretty used. For the money , would expect these items to not be an issue in the first place and certainly addressed when we reached out to vacasa, the management company.

Amazing beach spot

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We loved that it was a couple of miles down the road from the main touristy spots, but close enough to get to anything you wanted quickly. You cannot beat the private beach access, sunrises, and sunsets. If/when we make it back to Gulf Shores, we will definitely be checking to see if this place is available. First Beach Vacation

This was my 5 yr old twin granddaughters first beach vacation. The house was awesome. Very nice location. House was very clean. Had everything you could possible need to cook with. Full size washer and dryer. Even had a blow dryer in the bathroom. Awesome view of the beach and ocean from the house.

Girls Trip ‘24

We had an AMAZING stay at Kokomo II for our girls trip! There were 10 of us so being right on the beach was a priority for, and the views from the kitchen were immaculate. The pull out couch IS incredibly uncomfortable, so that made sleeping arrangements difficult, but overall the house was an amazing location, clean, and exactly what we were looking for! Thanks for a great week!

Overall a good experience

The location right on the beach was amazing and was definitely our favorite part. The rooms and bathrooms were a little cramped, but the trade off for the location was worth it. They DO provide sheets and bath towels (whatever they tell you) so no need to bring your own, just bring beach towels. House was clean and nearly all in working order (upstairs bathroom door would not fully close), but all in all, a great house that suited our needs! We will be returning!

Beautiful home, short drive from all the action.

Beautiful home, most definitely will come back. The views are perfect. The walk to the beach is just a couple steps from the door. The home is managed thru Vacasa not a homeowner so just know that going in if you have an issue you’ll have to contact them and they may or may not call you back and correct the issue. But overall the house was worth it and most definitely will return.

The perfect beach house!!

This is our 4 th year to have a family vacay to Gulf Shores. This year we thought we would get a house instead of a condo and I am telling you this house is perfect. Went with my husband , daughter and son in law and 3 grandchildren. Everyone had their space upstairs and then the downstairs was perfect for the family to be together , it is large and open concept with plenty of room. This house has everything you could need . Has your own path to the beach and just a quick drive to “all the things “ in town. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks to the owners for sharing this beautiful property with us. It was perfect for making memories!!! Until next time!!!

Nice place

We had 4 adults, two young teens and a child. We had enough room for sure. Bathrooms were a little tight but for the amount of time you spend in there on vacation it wasn’t a big deal. We did wish there was a hair dryer, though. Also, the WiFi was so painfully slow it was useless. With no ESPN subscription at the house, our boys were really wanting to stream the College World Series but could not. I put a call in to Kaiser and she told me she would have our property manager come over to trouble shoot. They never showed up and I never got a call back. Just having the WiFi as an amenity and then it not work was frustrating. Overall the house was great and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice Location on Beach

House was great for two couples, it's a great location right on the beach. One couple, however, won't have an ocean view from their bedroom, so that was a little disappointing. But it was available from the living room.

Beautiful home with great view!

Management was kind enough to let us know we could check in early and was very responsive on the couple of issues we contacted them about. All bedrooms were upstairs, so for people who have mobility issues this is not the place. Master bedroom has best view I’ve ever had in a vacation home!
